I do not recommend this place in Clarksville to anyone. I went in 9/27/2015 and bought 3 buffets 1 for me,1 for my son,1 for my daughter inlaw and also bought 4 to go boxes for my 3 toddler grandchildren. I was going take a piece of meat to my dog. Well then I thought well I wanted more meat so I went to the cashier and asked to buy another to go box said she would after the line was done. So I went back to my table. One of the people that worked there gave me 3 milks for the children. A few mins. later the manager came up started making a scene about the meat and the milk. Everyone turned to look I did not have a chance to tell him I was waiting for the cashier. Also a lady who worked there gave me the milk anyway he was being so nasty I did not want to explain anything. I headed for the door to get out and he caught up with me as I was putting my hands on the door he slammed the door open and said get the hell out it was so bad the guy who was with him told him to be quiet and stop. I thought that manager was going to hit me he was that close. I am 60 yrs. old and 5 ft 3. A new management took over not to long ago and Golden Corral is not the same. DO NOT GO THERE I wanted to also add I have being going their 12 yrs. prior to this incident.

We went to this Golden Corral for my wifes birthday on 05/31/17. It wasnt that crowded. The cashier was very friendly. Plenty of tables and booths to choose from. I went to get some soup. And there was a "skin" on top of all the soup choices. I got chicken noodle soup. Had to stir it a little bit. Looked kinda old. Went to the salad bar and that looked kinda old. (The vegetables). Nobody was around to take care of it. There were no onions in the bin. Mushrooms looked old. Lettuce, Spinach, and Romaine didnt look fresh. Went to the "Wok" area. It was Mexican food and Italian food. No soft tortillas. No spaghetti. Everything looked old. Walking around looking at some of the food. They had BBQ baked beans and they looked dried out. The sautéed mushrooms looked shriveled. Ate the so-so quality food and I wasnt impressed. Dessert bar was not properly attended to. Had to wait for "hand dipped ice cream"(the employee I mean). About 5 minutes. I wont be coming back. Very disappointing. (I know, how come I didnt complain to the manager?) Couldnt find the manager. P.S. Our waitress was mediocre.

First we were greeted by Sequoia with a warm smile and she was very sweet! Then we got to our booth and our server Brian was amazing!! Super friendly and great with my 3 yr old. He was right on top of our empty plates and drinks. I looked up and saw him constantly working, either cleaning or helping others get there duties done! A smile on his face the entire time! And to make things even more of a delight...my daughter loves cotton candy and there werent any hanging bags when it came time for desert so...Kenneth turned on his machine and made her a bunch right on the spot!! He was so happy to do it for her it made my heart swell! Thanks to the entire staff and management for running a fantastic location and making our experience great everytime! We dont get to eat out all that often, but its great to know when we do have a little money to splurge on eating out that we will be satisfied both mind and belly!!! Thanks again its greatly appreciated!! Have a wonderful day! Reagan R.

Restaurant was overcrowded. From the very beginning the management needs to have standards in place, monitor the environment, and enforce quality control. Food was still on the serving line that was clearly old and or overcooked from sitting there too long. Plates and silverware had residual food on them, so the level of cleanliness was poor. Several parents there had no control of their children running through the crowded restaurant, as they rudely pushed other customers and ran around unnecessarily. The staff at Golden Corral failed to step in as well, making it an unwelcome atmosphere. Considering how many people were there, it seems they would appreciate the customer and do much more to provide better quality food and dining experience.

Not sure why all the negative reviews. We visited today, 4/3/16 while passing through town. It is a Sunday, right after morning church, it is packed and there is fresh tasty food everywhere and attentive managers/servers/staff. Our server stopped by our table at least once every five minutes and was the perfect example of hospitality without being overbearing. As far as people saying it is dirty, that was not my experience at all and I saw several employees sweeping and cleaning amongst all the customers. Only reason Im not giving five stars is the lock on our bathroom stall was broken. However, the bathroom was cleaner than expected with all those people and children in and out of it. Would definitely come back next time were in Nashville :)

The guy handling the steak was too busy talking with his coworkers to pay attention to the line. When I dared bother him to ask for steak, he seemed to act as if I was an inconvenience. I asked for medium. What I got was well-done, overcooked and dried out. Not even steak sauce could save it! Most of the food pans were near empty and there were no tongs for the bread, even after asking two waitresses and waiting 5 minutes. There was no refill of my diet pepsi, although the waitress did ask if I wanted another dr pepper when we were leaving. With Ryans gone, GC has continued to decline as they dont care to fix their problems. If Dad didnt insist on getting food fast, I wouldnt go there and certainly dont recommend it.

My husband and I were in your resturant and witnessed something we had to share with you. A man walked into Golden Corral with a little girl on his hip and Two little boys, all children were under the age of 5. With only himself. I looked up thinking I wonder where the mother is and if he needs help, to see one of your managers, Michelle, helping by taking the two boys to the bar and getting their food. She was so kind to the boys and they felt comfortable with her because she was so kind and gentle with them. She seated the boys and made sure they had everything they needed. Even waiting on the father to came back before going back to her duties. You need more staff like that. Amazing.

I eat there all the time. Its clean, the people are nice, and the food is great. If youre looking for Military discount go on Mondays, they give it to active duty and veterans as well. The prices can vary from $11.99-$13.99 just depends on when you go. But beware the drink costs extra and thats $2.51. Just be beware to pay about $15-$17 per person. The best time for seniors to go is at 1-4 Monday through Saturday. Try and make it easy on them, especially when its busy. They get super stressed out and sometimes its hard to hide it. They are people too, dont expect them to be perfect. Although they try their best. :)
