I went to the Monkey Junction location on a Tuesday night for some half off pizza to go. I told the hostess who told me I could place my to go order at the bar. I tried to order a pear and gorganzola pizza for my wife and three other pizzas for myself and the kids. I was bluntly imformed by the bartender that the pear pizza was no longer on the menu even though I looked at it on the mobile site right before I drove there. I found a substitute and placed my order. The bartender just walked away and entered the order into the register. No thank you or time frame nothing. Her regular customers where there and I guess I was keeping her from them. I had my daughter with me so I could not wait at the bar. I got her attention to tell her I would wait outside. I went outside waited came back in 20 minutes later. She told me is wasnt out yet and she was going to check on it. When she returned from the kitchen she barked "BEHIND YOU" and put the boxes on the bar after I moved to the side. Then she rang me up, SURPRISE, full price for the pizzas on half off Tuesday. I asked "arent pizzas usually half off on Tuesday?" Without an ounce of compassion or hesitation she said "thats dine in only" and that was that. I double checked the mobile site when I got home and no where does It mention that requirement. I thought it would only be fair to call the manager before posting a review. While she had more class then the rude bartender, not hard to do, she offered no resolution. She apologized that it was not properly conveyed on the website, said she would have it updated and thanked me for calling. I have no idea why the promotion is better for them if I was to eat in the restaurant but apparently thats the UNWRITTEN rule.

The food had no flavor. It was bland and boring. The same goes for the wait staff. Our waitress made us feel rushed and did not offer to explain anything on the menu. After we had received our appetizer and moved on to our entree, the waitress never once asked "Hows the food?" Nor did the server who took away our barely eaten, bland calamari ask why we had not finished it or how we liked it. The $24 filet mignon was NOT seasoned, overcooked and tiny! Weve had better sirloin steaks from family steakhouses. We had to flag down our waitress to request the check and she immediately rushed to get our check and take our money. She again did not ask how our dinner was and did not ask us to return. Needless to say we will not be returning and literally took our food home to feed to our dogs. Thats all it was fit for. What a disappointing, maddening experience. And to be honest, we drove to the grocery store and are going to make a fabulous, home-cooked meal as we should have done to begin with.

I went here tonight for an informational dinner. The offering was excellent. I ate the spinach salad and the Chicken Parmesan. Desert was Carrot Cake bites which were very rich and just the right amount of sweet to finish an excellent meal. Crusty bread was available on the table along with virgin olive oil. So why only the 3 stars... because missing was any Italian herb blend to go along with the oil for dipping the crusty bread and my service was unacceptable. I had to ask for more tea, ask for Parmesan cheese, and I was not served at the same time that others sitting on either side of me were. Unfortunately, the biggest part of an enjoyable restaurant experience is the service. No matter HOW good the food, if the service is poor, then the experience is not a 5....

Went to have dinner with my son. We sat at the bar. There were a few other people there, we were there early. The bartender was very rude and not friendly at all. No hello, thank you, nothing. Acted like she did not want to be there. I watched her to see if it was just us and she treated everyone the same until two men came in that were probably in their early 30s and then the smile and so friendly it was unbelievable. The blond lady at the door even came over to the bar to talk to them. That was the end of the service. The two of them spent the rest of the time talking to these two men. Food was good, service was Horrible. The couple sitting at the table behind us had to keep getting up to serve himself. Sad to see a nice place so poorly run.

Great ambience, but poor food quality. My veal marsala was heavily salted the first visit. Second visit, thinking Id specify no extra salt, a huge mistake was made on my penne arrabiata: I specified "no cheese whatsoever", and there was cheese in it. I became very sick for the rest of the night. Not only that, we ordered a chopped salad, and it looked very yellow (just looked like old, inner Romaine with brownish edges). It was mostly this unattractive lettuce. The salami was in strips--not chopped. Im disappointed because, again, the ambience is nice.

Service was wonderful!! We had a party of ten and I imagine we were a handful but our server handled us with physical and social grace she was exceptional. They were also very accommodating to the outside cake that we had brought for the party. They refrigerated it until we were done eating, then sliced and served it to us as it was one of their own dessert. I am sure this is a common hospitality that they offer but it was a very welcoming touch. Overall our experience was exceptional and of course the food was amazing.

Food was not worth the money they charge. Kids menu consists of 2 choices only. The chicken fettuccini was bland and the chicken pieces taste bland, like they cooked it by just boiling it in water, cutting it into large chunks and serving it in the bowl. Also had to ask 4 separate times if we could order our drinks. We were served water when we first sat down and didnt get our drinks until after our food got there. We waited 40 minutes. I recommend going anywhere else but here... even McDonalds or Taco Bell.

Birthday dinner. Food was okay, but then 2 cockroaches showed up and someone in my party killed them, showed them to the waitress and she picked them up and discarded them. I thought a manager would come talk to us, offer apologies, something! But, sadly no one came and we had already eaten and it really ruined my birthday dinner with my family. I will never go here again.

The OC staff at Monkey Junction....awesome! We had our School Christmas party in their beautifully decorated back room! Anthony, Jill, and Kate were the best! Our group had a delightful time due to the OCs attentive service! Thank you again for making sure we had a delightful evening! And also for helping judge our Christmas Carols battle!! Delicious appetizers!

Ate on 8/13/16. VERY nice Italian eating! The building is great looking and decorated exquisitely inside. Our waitress, Brianna, was perfect and helpful. The food was AMAZING and our drinks never ran dry! The prices were not that bad at all. Filet mignon at $24, most pastas under and around $20. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!
