Nice dining room and reasonable ambiance. The background music contributed nicely to the atmosphere, but wasnt so loud that you couldnt enjoy casual dinner conversation. I really appreciated this. The staff was professional and knew the menu. My server was the high point of my experience. The prices on the menu were comparable to other higher-end Italian chain restaurants (like Carrabbas); but unfortunately--for me anyway--this is where the similarities end. I ordered a featured crunchy shrimp appetizer, and veal Parmesan for my entree. The app. was good and the portion size could have been an entree. The Veal Parm offered a nice portion of two cutlets about the size of my hand, certainly large enough to share with another adult, but it was very bland. For the taste, it seemed like something I could get at the fast food Italian places like Fazolis or Ci-Cis pizza--and pay much less. The marinara sauce was bland too, and tasted like canned sauce. The pasta side dish--an herb linguini--was bland too, and slightly over-cooked for my taste. In fairness, I have to say that even the pasta side dish was a generous portion, and was easily enough to share. Pro: Great portions, professional staff, good atmosphere Con: Average food, a little pricey for the food quality youll get. Recommendation: Id rather have a smaller portion of higher quality food if thats what is needed to make the price point work.

We visited Bravo looking for a place for lunch. Weve never been or heard of Bravo before but decided to give it a try after seeing a good, clean, and attractive exterior. When we entered, we were immediately greeted warmly and seated. The interior decor feels high quality and the service from each staff member were outstanding. The menu is well designed with a little for everyone. I especially liked the highlight for lighter calorie meals. Upon learning we were there for the first time, the manager brought us a bruschetta dish that was not on the menu. It was delicious! The Chicken Caprese was excellent, tasty and only 540 calories. The Sausage Tortelloni was flavorful and excellent as well. The Tomato Basil Linguine is not only flavorful, the pasta is fresh with excellent texture. It tastes like its made fresh in house. Overall, we had an excellent dining experience. The dishes are priced very reasonably for the setting and the food you get. I will visit again next time in town!

I ate here and the food was decent. The shrimp fra diavolo was advertised as having capellini pasta but for some reason came with rotini. Calamari was well-cooked. I called to make a reservation today for tonight. The girl who answered the phone said the earliest available was 8:15. I said OK and she said hold to speak to the people up front. After 5 minutes of intermittent advertisements and music, I guessed it would be a while so put the phone on speaker in my pocket and did some chores. A little while later someone came on and told me that they were no longer taking reservations. I inquired why the receptionist who put me on hold didnt tell me that before the 12 minute wait. "Shes just a server." A minor frustration to be sure, but when your front-facing employees treat potential customers like this it is usually indicative of bigger problems. I dont plan to ever go again, and will be surprised if it is still there in 2 years.

As a long time lover of all things food, especially Italian, I have to admit, to my regret, that this was the worst restaurant in which I have ever had the misfortune of eating. On the surface it seemed like a very fine restaurant from the outside architecture to the lighting but the food was a great disappointment. After dealing with adequate service from a lady in possession of a pasted on smile we were treated to the house special, the "Pasta Bravo". This fairly hard, not firm but hard, orange penne pasta mixed with a spoonful of meat and little to no flavor was not worth the $13.50 plus tax it took to barter its presence on the table. You would expect that the house specialty would have a bit more to offer than a boxed meal that one could easily find on a grocery store isle. Unfortunately, it did not, and as such the entire experience was poor. In conclusion "bravo!" thank god it’s over.

Artisanal was a real treat... we decided to go on a Thursday as they close for the season and the weekend was booked, and what a decision it was. Kim was a fantastic waitress... a real pro who we will certainly request when we return in the spring. We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing, and while not cheap by any means, it was absolutely worth it. The duck breast was, I think, the best Ive ever had. Years ago there was a restaurant in Maine that came close to this... alas, they have fallen so far off that I will not return. Artisanal was everything t his other place aspired to, and then some. And while great food is always a pleasure, great service makes it that much moreso, and from the hostess, to the Sommelier, to Kim, we had a fantastic evening, and I couldnt recommend this place any more strongly. Go. Enjoy. Slainte Mhe!

Came in right before the prom rush tonight, Initially told it would be an hour wait. Samantha at the front desk changed that and offered us a place at the "pizza station" that would enable us (4 adults, 4 kids) to see the kitchen staff work. They set it up in less than 5 minutes and had us eating in less than 15 minutes. Ryan B was an amazing server. Took great care of us. Food was fantastic and staff was great. They got slammed by prom, and their staff all stepped up their game to get everyone served. Ordered Lobster Ravioli, Chicken Scappolini, Cheese Ravioli with meat sauce (kids) and 2 kids pizzas. All FANTASTIC. Lobster Ravioli was definitely the best entree!

It is a shame that a restaurant with such a nice building, a beautiful interior, in an exclusive area such as the Shops at Friendly has such terrible food. My husband, John ate there on Wednesday evening, December 3, 2014 with a group of friends. He ordered the crab and shrimp cakes which were raw on the inside and tasteless; the meal lacked substance It seems the restaurant is more concerned with what the plate looks like than how it tastes. Along with two glasses of wine, his bill for one person was $37. Sad that he left hungry and very dissatisfied. We are both Italian and will never go there again.
