New China Red Gourmet is not an average Chinese restaurant, but a Tex-Mex/Chinese joint, sounds weird, but has the best of both worlds. I came here try out their Tex-Mex, even though it’s probably not authentic, but wanted to give it a try anyway. The place is actually not bad, considering the selections that they have. I had a mix of beef and chicken tortilla, which by the way, you order by the pound, so I just got some of each to try. I think that the chicken was a bit too dry and a little too charred to the finishing. It takes quite some time to be served, but I guess the cooking takes long. To kill time, just look at their menu options. They have posters and signage of different dishes that are available, something that is not listed on the printed menu. However, if you want Chinese food, you can order from their menu. Nonetheless, the food was ok, but if you’re hungry, anything is good. The place is a bit stuffy, and there is no central cooling system, so it’s best to order out instead. Make sure to ask for specials that they might have, since I believe there is one everyday, just ask and they’ll let you know.

Theres really nothing too special about this place compared to any other fast food Chinese places, but I like going here. The food is good and I cant complain about the price. I actually dont think I go enough since my office isnt that close anymore, but I want to make time to drop by soon and give them some support. They have the hot buffet bar during lunch time (pay per pound) but its a lot cheaper than some of the other locations around there and they have a good selection to choose from. Plus your meal might come with a can of soda depending on your purchase, just remember to grab one, cause they might not point it out. The decor is old, but they have a lot of seating available (additional space and bathroom on the lower level). I think this places is worth trying and judge for yourself, but Ive made the determination that I would go back.

Customer Service was lackluster. And the food wasnt what I expected. I understand working in customer service and I hate having that fake inviting smile but the cashier didnt even try. She was on her phone as I was walking up to her. She didnt even look up from whatever she was doing on it when she said hi to me. I wasnt sure if I was interrupting something important, so I didnt say anything until she looked up at me and asked me for my order. Now the food "looked" good but as soon as I tasted the first bite, I realized not all Chinese food restaurants share the same recipe for pork fried rice. It wasnt seasoned at all. Tasted like unsalted white rice. And the chicken was too oily. I tried to finish it because I was starving but halfway through the combination made me queasy.

I will not be coming back to this place. I ordered General Taos Chicken and inquired if they could make it crispy. The attendant said yes. I had General Taos "chicken" noodles. The meat was soggy from the sauce which left a horrible taste lingering in my mouth probably due to the toxic levels of MSG in it. The broccoli, oh the broccoli or there lack of. It wasnt cooked with the meat was was barren of taste. The white rice was alright. I guess. I also ordered a spring roll. The order came with two of them which is fine. No complaints about the standard. However they were both dripping in oil to the point of which you couldnt taste anything else than the oil. The walk to the place was more enjoyable than the food. I wish you could rate 0.

This is hands down my favorite place to get soup dumplings. Everyone coming here must order the crab soup dumplings, theyre very flavorful and the crab taste is quite strong. The rest of the food is pretty standard and good, but they do use a lot of oil. The service is always pretty prompt with multiple servers taking care of each table, but dont expect fine-dining service, theres not a lot of chit chat or checking up on your food, thats just not really typical of Chinese restaurants.

I just cant seem to finish any of my meals here. I just left the restaurant after ordering the chicken and broccoli with white rice and literally threw up as soon as I got to my school. I really recommend this restaurant take better steps to ensuring that the food is properly cooked and the kitchen is clean because I cant eat here for another day. If I could give this restaurant a title it would be "worse Chinese restaurant ever!" P. S. Be ware you might get sick!

The fried baby shrimp I ordered came with a POOP VEIN still intact... I got too happy biting into the crunchy deliciousness because I love shrimp for life ... and then it tasted unlike anything Ive ever tasted... it sent shivers and chills down my body and not the good kind! To NOT clean the shrimp and then tell me to order the jumbo shrimp next time because they clean those is ridiculous. ALL food should be cleaned -_-

Disgusting. Foreign objects in all the food i ordered. They pretended they didnt ring me up for my egg roll and tried to charge me for it again. The food was so old and soggy. The staff was packaging the wonton noodles with bare hands. The buffet is deplorable. I will never go back. I took a few bites of my food and as im writing this, i can feel the nauseau coming on. Just nasty, gross, a mistake.

This is the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten and Im pretty sure Im going to be sick in 20 minutes. The food is flavorless and Im pretty sure everything on the buffet is from two or three days ago. Nice employees though. Do yourself a favor though and avoid this place or at least the buffet, the fresher stuff might be better.

Food was fine but pricey considering it was no better than your average, dirt-cheap Chinese food. Was deserted when I got there, and I ordered takeout. Man behind counter gave customer who arrived/ordered after me his food first, even though it was a much larger order and thus the reason wasnt time.

Ordered the Chicken with Broccoli and literally spent all night vomiting 3 times and going to the bathroom with a bad case of diarrhea over a dozen times. I thought I was going to die. Do not go here unless u want a severe case of food poisoning.

So so... I ordered the sesame chicken with chicken fried rice and my fiancee ordered chicken and broccoli. It appeared that the chicken wasnt fully cooked in either meal. I wouldnt eat here again.

Nasty. Disgusting. The words to describe this food is endless. Family owned and bad service, bad quality, simply awful. Food has no taste and not even real chicken. Disgrace of Chinese food.

The food is good. Endless buffet it gets busy, but theres always a seat where anyone can sit in. Also most of the time people will come in and order take out.

The food was decent and cheap. My only complaint is that there was a bug in my wonton soup. THERE WAS A BUG IN MY WONTON SOUP. A BUG. IN MY WONTON SOUP.
