Now, I was participating in the AIDS WALK this year, I clearly was not a customer. I took a chance and tried to use their restroom. There were a few people in the line before me and I tried my best to stay out of the way. The man working with the red shirt running around this place thought it would be a good idea to physically try and move me, pushing me out of the way. Not only did he do this once, putting his hands on me, but twice he decided to physically move me. All after I originally apologized for being in the way, trying to move myself. This place looked nice and had a good vibe about it until that instance. I even considered asking my friends to go there, until this situation. I guess money does really buy manners. Shame.

Iper consigliato!

My favorite morning coffee stop, outdoor summer cafe, indoor winter night hide-out. All of the staff morning, noon & night are helpful and very friendly. The owner is also great and is often there to meet patrons and be present. Have been living in the neighborhood for 3 years and this is absolutely my go-to-cafe for everything. *Tip: Try 2 pieces of multi-grain toast with butter for a weekday breakfast. Cheap quick meal if you are running late and absolutely delicious!

Muy buen precio, el café está muy bueno. No tienen mucha variedad en desayuno: tostadas, croissant rellenos de tortilla y bacón, algún sándwich y dulces, pero todo está buenísimo. Desayunas por 7-8$ por persona

Pricey and stingy. I ordered chips and guac for $10. Chipotle serves better for $3. They were also super stingy with amount of chips, they give a nice decent amount of guac but we didnt even finish half of it by the time the chips were gone. They were so hesitant to give us more chips and the amount they did give didnt even finish off the guac. Anyway, this place seems to be really popular with students and regulars.

Not sure what all the hype was about, or why people flock to this establishment, but the food was good (not excellent or amazing) for a pricey meal. OJ was freshly squeezed, and waffle with berries was good, but overpriced. It is a semi self-serve place, as you order and take a number and then get your food sent to your table. Not worth the wait or the money.

I like this place for relaxed weekend mornings. They make a tasty egg and cheese on a croissant and you can usually find a table since they shut the WiFi off on the weekend. Service is brusque but decently speedy. If youre looking for some weekend eats in the Morningside Park area, you could do a lot worse than Amrita.

Great place to take people for coffee or a casual breakfast/lunch. Visitors always love it. Just steps from 110 subway & Central Park entrance. Also a good bar spot at night. BUT not so great for working because there seems to be only 1 outlet. I recommend the broccoli & cheese quiche!

The place is convenient to me and has a nice, funky ambiance to it. But the woman working the counter is extremely nasty and rude (and Im not referring to just one visit there). Id like to go more often, but I dont patronize place that treat their customers so badly.

the service was neither a real service as no one left behind the counter, nor was it friendly. I regret not getting free coffee refill as is the custom in most places. on the bright side the cheese omelette bagel was quite good and the atmosphere very cosy.

They asked for a tip before serving anything, lacked friendly service, no fork provided with our pastry, and our coffee was served too hot. provide Wi Fi but only for weekdays not weekends. But the Wi Fi is not open, you have to ask for the password.

The have no interest in being nice to their customers. They wont smile and say "Hello". The staff is unfriendly. Its a shame too because being friendly makes everyone feel good. The owners simply dont care about anything but money. What a shame.

This modest, cozy cafe doesnt seem like much more than a place to have a drink and a pastry, but in fact it offers so much more. Their menu is thorough and delicious. The location is perfect and the vibe is quaint. Definitely going back soon.

Its a hidden gem in Harlem, my favorite spot. It can be a little swinky. They have a full bar and two full screen tvs I highly recommend ordering chipolte chicken pannini. Its my favorite meal to eat.

Wonderful local cafe, with good well-priced food, two nice screens for sport, and a friendly vibe. It never gets too loud.. you can have coffee or beer alike and the breakfast dishes are delicious!

Very nice ambience with good brunch weekends. Also the sandwiches with salad are delicious. Only the lady at the counter is very rude and the feeling to be welcome at this place is not given.

Correcto café fuera de los curcuitos turísticos. Ideal para comer algo. Tranquilo.

Fair prices for good food and mixed crowed. I think that local, non chain places like this one need to be supported. And not just for that, because they are doing a good job.

I really like to go there for brunch. People are very friendly and they have just enough variety of choices for brunch. And they do serve real orange juice.
