Well I took my wife for dinner. The food is excellent and in timely manner they have everything you ask ready. The price I think as a chefs perspectives was a little high but nothing out of the world. But the waitress the help us out bring us the check I pay with my card and tip her on cash. The next day Im looking my bank statement and the amount charge for my meal was 20 dollars more. I went back to ask for aswers and they told me It was a mistake the I forgot to write a 0 on the tip area. Ok I gave the waitress a 20 bill for her tip in cash. Now is a mistake for us as clients not to write a 0 because they assume is there right to tip themselves and add any amount they want. People check your bank statements all the time and make sure you make any type of marking on that bill remember is your mistake not theres. In my book we call that STEAL and just for that I will never go back there anymore.

I just ordered to go from here today and was not satisfied. When I gave my boyfriend the number to call, the person said we would have to wait 45 minutes for a chef to be available and to call back. She did not take our order or anything, so we called back and then she told us 30 minutes and switched it to 40 part way through. We asked before hanging up how much our order would cost and she did not know. Finally we went to pick up our order and we got two hibachi dinner orders and sushi. They are supposed to come with as advised on the website "soup, salad, and dessert" We did not get any of those, just the meat, rice, and veggies. That is not really worth $50. I do not understand why someone would pay full price for only part of the food experience? Overall it was disappointing, although the food was good quality.

Staff was courteous, prices were as expected for Hibachi, and the Chef was kind. We enjoyed the sushi as well. Compared to other Hibachis/Japanese steakhouses I have eaten at in other locations (not in Topeka) I have had better tasting Hibachi, but my husband and I still enjoyed it. I am partial to yum yum sauce with Hibachi (which they do not have so that was disappointing!). They make their own mustard sauce for the rice and whatever else you wish to use it with, but I am not a fan of mustard and didnt care for the sauce so that effected how much I liked the food. The rice still tasted pretty good though and I ate it, it just wasnt my favorite. My husband really liked it.

The first roll I had with eel was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately the second roll I ordered(the tuna sampler) had so much wasabi it was almost gag inducing. The tequila sunrise cocktail I ordeded I wasnt even able to drink due to how strong it was. I honestly regret spending my money here. I used to come here often with my family and even had a birthday here. Its too bad when places like this that you once loved degenerate into something barely edible.

Ate here Saturday afternoon it was excellent. Food was great. decor was very authentic Japanese. The waiter was attentive and very curtious and pretty damn funny. The sushi chef came out himself to make sure we were enjoying our rolls *which were fantastic* and chatted with us a bit. Ive been to Tokyo before and this was just like walking into a restaurant there *except Yuki is spacious*. I love this restaurant and will be returning frequently.

Ran in for a quick lunch (theyre now open all day Fridays after 11 am, YAY!) and the LA roll was amazing. For peppy non-traditionalist sushi, or for the die hard raw fish eater, this is the place. Pricing is reasonable in the market with a few rolls under the $5 mark, and the service is personal as well as professional. Glad to have a great place in Topeka so we dont have to travel to the city all the time for great sushi.

I LOVE sushi, even my kids love Sushi, this is the best Sushi place Ive found in Topeka... Ive only found a few though... Their solidly "good" with a few of their specials surprisingly tasty. Many of their specials are named the same as other sushi Ive had, but theyve added their own take on them, I assume due to local options, but still decently good. They have a phenomenal choice of sake however - well worth a visit.

Best sushi in Topeka. Do yourself a favor and ditch Kikus. The owner Jason is a passionate man with almost 20 years experience in making rolls. You wont find anyone local that can make sushi as well as him. The fish is always fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere and the chefs put on a great show. They make their own wasabi here and you can taste and appreciate the difference.

Stopped in by chance and the food was excellent! The customer service was even better. They are so nice and even allowed us to make a custom roll! We also had the tempura veggies and some fried rice. Both were also delicious. The food alone is enough to convince you to come in but the customer service is what will keep you coming back again and again.

Ive eaten here several times. The food was good. My last experience is as follows: I got sushi to go and when I got to work, opened up the meal, I found a hair in my sushi. I pulled it out and found more hairs. Ended up throwing it away. Havent returned. Hopefully that doesnt happen often. Overall the food and in-restaurant dining experience are good.

I recently went here on a date with my fiancé and absolutely loved our experience. The sushi was very reasonably priced and we were able to sit at one of the low tables which was very fun. The owner even came and introduced himself and was very pleasant. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back again.

This is sushi made right. Its practically as good as the sushi my guy ate in Okinawa. The fish tasted and felt like it had never been frozen or stored for long. Considering that its impossible to get fish thats Okinawa-fresh in the middle of Kansas, this speaks to the chefs skill at selecting and handling the ingredients.

This place is by far the best restaurant to go to for sushi. I absolutely love there spicy tuna roll. They are also cheaper than some of the other places that serve sushi. Also, if you go, get the seaweed salad. I know your thinking that sounds gross, but it is amazing. I would eat that over a regular salad any day!

We love this restaurant so much that my husband and I go there at least 2 times per month. We are so used to being spoiled by good sushi and Japanese food from when we lived in NYC - but I must admit this is the best place around. I really like the variety of sushi and their meals are a great deal. We love it!

You need to get to Lonnies early, especially on Thursday and Friday since those are the only days you can get the ribs. My favorite other than the ribs is the turkey! And THE best coleslaw ever!!! Not to mention the cheesy potatoes!!! Wish they were open more hours but when we want it we make the plan and get...
