Only giving one star for server Emily. My girlfriend and I often come her because we love the vegetarian options and service is usually good when we have Emily as our server. Issue arose when Emily decided to make rude and snarky remarks towards friends I brought with us who were new to the restaurant. She ended up asking in a very snarky tone if we were going to eat food or if we were there to just drink water. With me being a regular and her remembering my girlfriend and I she knows that this is not the case. We received no apology from her. I really wanted to eat there but after being treated like this I cancelled my order. I will not be returning sadly or if I do I will make sure this woman is nowhere near my table. Just absolutely ridiculous. Edit for owner: My issue is not with her telling them about their food. It wasnt even my situation as you can tell from reading this above post. My issue has to do with her acting as if I just came there to take up space. These are two separate incidents and Im only concerned with the one I was involved with. Thank you for your response though it was not constructive towards this situation.

Weve been there twice. The first time, it was just two of us and we didnt have to wait for a table. Once we sat down it was at least fifteen minutes before seeing our server. After the first interaction, it did not get any better- for example, I ordered a side of ranch dressing with my meal which was sorption, and my food was cold before the server was even within sight to flag over to ask for more. Granted, the food was delicious and so was the beer. The second time, there were four of us. When we gave our name to a hostess, we were quoted a 30 minute wait. After about 50 minutes, there were still at least three more groups waiting ahead of us. So we went up to Carmel and got some Mexican at La Hacienda, which was amazing in every way. tl;dr BRBs food is good, but it isnt good enough where it is worth waiting and dealing with what seems (based on personal experience and others reviews) to be horrible staff.

Have dined here twice in the past 6 months. The last time back in October, the beer, food and service were great (got the beer cheese crock and mussels). I went back there 2 nights ago and it was a different story. We were greeted by a snarky guy who tried to seat us (a party of 2, on a fairly slow Monday night) at 2 tables between loud parties. When we asked if we could sit at a 2 top ,adjacent but not between, he said "fine" and heaved a sigh. Our server was nice and mindful of our needs but deinitely steered me wrong on the food. When I asked between a burger and the shepherds pie, she said the pie. It was terrible! It was like canned vegetable soup (raw sliced tomato in center), mashed potatoes floating on top with, a (and I am not kidding) a Kraft single melted on top...price:$11.50. It was disgusting to say the least. Anyways, I might return for a good pint or 2 but will never go there for "dinner" again.

Warm and easy vibe. Easy to hang out with friends. Theres even a fireplace around the corner. Good for drinks only. The food? Urgh. BAD. No idea how it gets good reviews. Got the Fish and Chips. Made with frozen fish. Just horrible. It fact the fish was still frozen when it was served. Switched to the Shephers Pie. Just as bad. Wet and bland filling that was more like a chili. The mashed potatoes were very wet (and seemed like they were made from frozen potatoes as well. Worst of all - the wet potatoes were just thrown in the middle with some melted cheese. Huh? The mashed potatoes should be BAKED across the whole top, no cheese and definitely not just a lazy scoop of mashed potatoes. If youre just going for a beer, its a good spot. Skip the food.

Atmosphere was nice. We sat indoors but they had a nice looking patio. The beer was good (I got the Nice Weiss). Unfortunately we were there for dinner and the food was memorably bad. We started with the veggie chips. We got a pile of soggy, multicolored discs. They were not crispy, they had no inherent flavor from the veggies, and there wasnt a speck of seasoning - salt or pepper - on them. The black bean burger was a doughy mess. Not even bacon could save it. The thai pork sandwich was flavorless. All the sandwiches came with a pile of ruffles potato chips, instead of homemade fries or chips (it might have been for the better though). For $10/plate you can do way better in Indy. Just about anywhere. At least there was a pickle.

we seldom have anything less than a good time here. there is both indoor and outdoor seating (weather dependent, of course). the beers are brewed in a fairly traditional english style (lower carbonation). i think their ESB and Lawnmower ales are two of my favorites here. they have many tasty vegetarian entrees here as well as plenty for the carnivores (try the bangers and mashed). their thai pizza is legendary (a friend of mine seldom eats anything else). they also have weekly specials for both diets, so this place is worth checking out any night of the week. bring your darts as they have dart boards in the back as well. family friendly (no smoking inside) makes this a great place for everyone to go.

I go to the Broad Ripple Brew Pub quite a few Tuesdays (especially during the summer) with my friends for the 7:00 trivia. Although we never do well in the actual trivia (its pretty hard) I always have a great experience. In addition the food is superb; my favorite is the Brewpub Burger, but thats a matter of opinion. I would highly recommend going there if youre in the area for an appointment or something (or even if youre not) and I would especially recommend showing up on Tuesday evening to have some fun with friends and rack your brain for Trivia night!

Cant go wrong here! Although its probably not the place to take your elderly grandparents too. By no means is it a rough and tumble place, but it could use a bit of polish. The food is typically 3 or 4 stars. The options are really good for vegans and veggies too - even if they are sometimes bland (ketchup works wonders). What we really come for is the beer. They have a really great selection and its always cold. I do enjoy their outdoor seating as well. Definitely will come back and hope one day they "polish a bit"!

The food here is bland. Ive been here about 1-2 times a year (never by choice) and each time I order something different to try to find something I like. Im giving up. The first time I came, I ordered a beer and the waitress accidentally bumped the bottle when she set it down and it started foaming everywhere. Half of my beer was spilled and she just laughed. Didnt even bother to apologize or bring another one. The next time one of my friends suggests this place, I think Im going to have to bail. Its that bad.
