I visited the Promenade Shopping Plaza location of Publix for the first time last night. The store, like most Publix stores Ive been in, was clean and orderly. Not being familiar with the layout of this particular location I was having trouble locating a section I was looking for. I asked a team leader, who I saw stocking shelves, for assistance in finding the section where British imports could be found. Its a small section found in most Publix stores Ive been in, although its location varies greatly depending on the store. He wasnt familiar with it and said, "let me find out" and then walked to what I assume was the back of the store to ask someone where to find the section in question. He left me standing there waiting for him for over 15 minutes (timed, not an estimate) without returning. I remained in the same area in case we could have missed each other in the event I wandered too far. Eventually, I walked from one end of the store to the other, checking each aisle for him without luck. On one of my passes I did find the section I was originally looking for without the help of the employee who left me waiting for him. I ended up going to the front of the store and purchasing my items. Before leaving the store I stopped by the customer service desk and asked the person behind the counter if they could do two things for me. 1. I asked if she could let the team leader (by my description of the original employee I was told by customer service that he was a team leader) know that I had found what I was looking for and also told her where the section was found so she could pass the information along. 2. I asked the customer service rep if she would let her manager know about the excessive amount of time the team leader left me waiting. It should be noted I was not requesting to lodge a formal complaint, I was hoping to inform the manager simply as a courtesy. The customer service person gave no affirmative response to my request and instead immediately began making excuses for the team leader not returning. "He was probably in the back seeing if he could find it for you" was one of the excuses she made, which, yes, I could understand if it were a specific product I was inquiring about but I wasnt. I was looking for a section of the store, not any one item which could be found in the back of the store. The customer service rep aggressively doubled down on her original excuse when I again asked her to simply pass my comments on to the store manager and it became obvious she had no intention of complying to which I said I would just call the manager myself and left the store. This was my first experience in this store. I typically shop at the PGA Blvd location nearby. It is my contention that there is a distinct lack of professionalism from the few interactions I had with employees at this store. Even taking away the inconvenience of being led to wait 15 minutes or more for simple assistance, their lack of simple store layout knowledge coupled with an unwillingness to provide the most basic customer assistance are extremely off-putting. I have had very few poor experiences with Publix in the past so I still have the belief that they are a professional company who truly focuses on the customer experience as the cornerstone of their mission. The Promenade Shopping Plaza location, however, leaves a great deal to be desired.

I order a small fruit platter for an event at work on 12/19 for pick up 12/22. When I arrived to pick it up today I was told by deli staff it was put in by management for the wrong day. I didnt get upset just grabbed a pre made bowl and took it to the register. I was asked by the cashier how my dad was going. I explained my situation. She called the manager Hans who offered an apology, walked me to fresh fruit and sent me on my way with two beautiful bowls of fruit gratis. It wasnt the gratis part but that Hans took time out of his day to be so helpful.

Ive only shopped here (2) times. Each time I get something at the bakery. At the bakery I was always helped by an employee named Andrea. Both times Andrea was very rude. The first time she was rude I figured she may have been having a bad day. The second time I knew this b-tch had some kind of chip on her shoulder. Probably the worst customer service I have ever seen so far. This customer will take business to Walmart. Yes even Walmart employees has better customer service than Andrea.

I dont know WHO is hiring people there but this will be the last time I try to get a sub from here granite it was close to closing time but still no exception for service like that I walked up to get a sub and that was two women standing there waiting for their subs so I left to get some other things and came back to see the kid STILL cutting meat so I just got something else to eat then went back by and he still wasnt done....... IT SHOULDNT TAKE 20 MINUTES TO MAKE SOME SANDWICHES

A good supermarket that carries products that the nearby Greenwise Publix doesnt, and they are open an hour later too. Its an older store that has been renovated throughout the years (and re-arranged enough times that its still a scavenger hunt to find what youre looking for!) You typically need to ask to have someone help bring your groceries to your car- until a few years ago, they would ALWAYS offer.

All the employees are very polite and helpful !! Ive been going to this store, even though its not in the exact location it was, since the early 70s! Dang Im gettin old ! Mom and I used to love going to the Green Stamp Store, which was to the left of the original Publix

Horrible experience, they hire kids who are idiots. Hate that we dont have more choices then publix. Couldnt even do a proper price check, kid took about 5 minutes to do it and still couldnt get it right, left without making my purchase.
