Understanding that this is a new establishment, I can only review it honestly as it was, on the day of our meal. I, for good conscious, can not provide a padded review due to their being new because this would be a disservice. I did wait a couple of days to be able to review and provide a better insight. This is a new location and is quite crowded. They must not have considered this too much in the initial planning. There were over 20 people waiting (4 seats at a bar) the rest stood. We were seated rather quickly though so it was not too bad. Upon being seated the waiter asked for our drink order. We were informed that even though the Lemonade was listed under "Free Refills" on the new menu, it did not have them. We asked if he would check and he departed the table. A Waitress then came to the table and asked to take our drink order. We were told once again that there were no refills and we thanked her. The food order included a chicken finger appraiser as well as our meals and sides. The chicken fingers were barely seasoned and it came with a bland marinara sauce. My wife chose the quesadilla which had one piece of chicken with peppers and onions (no cheese). This made it really bad and my wife couldnt eat it due to it being peppers and onions without any cheese or chicken. I had ordered the Fried Seafood Lovers plate. This dish had fried: fish, shrimp, oysters, scallops. oysters, a crab cake and onion rings. When I received the meal it had the fish, shrimp, one small onion ring and the crab cake. I asked about the missing items and was told that they were out of oysters. Another manger cane out to verify that I wanted the missing items that I was being charged for and re-iterated that they were out of Oysters. About 20 minutes later I received the scallops and oysters (yes, I double checked and there were oysters which they did not supposedly have). At the ending of the meal I received a desert and asked for it to go. They had run out of containers so they put it in a cup. This was not a problem but shows that they were hit harder then they expected. Remember they are new. Right now the great majority of the staff is untrained - working only a day or two. I gave them two stars for the meals and service. The service should improve over time as well as the communication between the kitchen and servers. I should try again in a couple of months to see if they have improved.

Went there for an early dinner around 4:15 yesterday. There were several people who came in around the same time, and they didnt seem staffed to handle. Also to be noted, in the layout, they are not really equipped to seat more than 4 at a table or booth. There were five of us, and we were pushed into a make shift table in the back corner. The waitress was pleasant, but stressed because she had too many tables. The food was okay, the portions large. Our real dissatisfaction came when we asked for a to-go cup for my 84 year old mothers first glass of iced tea (which we were charged $2 for). We were told by the waitress it would cost 50 cents for a cup! I have never been in a restaurant, who hasnt gladly handed me a to-go cup!! When I questioned it, I was told to talk to the manager or owner (not sure who he was). He was very rude and told me that was the policy. it was not like we were trying to get an extra cup, my mother drinks very slowly and had barely touched it. He came back a few minutes later, and said I will give you this one cup!! The waitress was apparently reprimanded, because she was very upset, and we had to then ask three times for to-go boxes, and we never ended up getting the dessert that came with the "mini-meals. We ended up spending $62 for dinner, but because of the cup issue and the attitude, this will not be on our to go back to list anytime soon!!

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Absolutely awful, from start to finish. The waitress was clueless, poorly trained (if at all) and we sat down to dirty plates and silverware. I originally ordered a bowl of soup, but she talked me down to just a cup of it. Just as well, it was salty and blah. I ordered a Mediterranean salad. It was strange. Melted cheese on chicken atop semi-wilted spinach and overcooked broccoli. Gross! Oh, the pitted olives were an unpleasant surprise. My husband ordered a shrimp dish. The waitress returned after 20 minutes to say they were out of rice. Huh?! Another 20 minutes passed and our food arrived. Poorly prepared and lacking any kind of distinguishable flavor. We were offered dessert , and declined. The waitress asked if we wanted our check. Well, we certainly werent going to sit there and watch paint dry! They werent busy, so the diner couldnt even use that for an excuse. Awful, just awful. We will not be back.

If I could give zero stars I would. Just went to the Sage Diner with my girlfriend, we were greeted by a very nice young man who began to seat us. Before we got to our table the host was yelled at by another female employee. She snatched the menus from the gentleman and said,"These are Katelynns". When she attempted to seat us at a table, my girlfriend politly requested a booth for us due to my back issues. The woman began to grumble and said "Ugghhh.. every one keeps doing this to this girl!" We told her that we didnt want to cause any problems as she angrily sat us in a dirty booth. We were so appalled with the employees attitude that we left the restaurant before even looking at the menus. Our original host apologized on our way out the door. Went to Luckys Diner afterward, a real restaurant.

There arent many diners in Northern Delaware. I had my eye on this one for a while, ever since they took over the space from Pizza Hut, and finally got out there for lunch. Ive been to quite a number of diners and I have to say this one compares favorably. The lunch/dinner menu has an almost endless variety, although they are missing some diner classics, like Eggs Benedict, and they dont seem to have daily specials. I ordered a Mexican Omelet. The portion size was pretty big. The omelet was done just right and the fried potatoes were crisp. Service was also rather good, considering how busy the place was at lunchtime. The one downside seems to be that space in their parking lot is limited. Well have a problem parking when the restaurant is packed.

It went from bad to worse... first, its a dinner, and as such one would expect good coffee in a proper coffee cup. While the coffee itself wasnt bad it was served in a teacup with saucer. Seriously it held about 6 ounces of coffee. In a place with an attentive server I guess this wouldnt be am issue but.... the entire staff was absolutely horrible. It took way to long to get anyone over initially, so long in fact that the couple who came in behind me actually got up and left after 5 minutes. I had to ask my server 4 times for more coffee. I actually had to get up and find someone to get more coffee!. Theres so much more but Ill add it later
