Had 3-meat sampler platter with brisket, pulled pork and cheddar & jalapeno sausage and side of coleslaw. Meal came with cornbread and I had both sweet and unsweetened tea for my drink. Portion sizes were decent. The pulled pork had good smoke flavor and was moist. The sausage also had good smoke flavor and the cheese was creamy and the jalapenos gave it a nice kick. The brisket was moist and easily pulled apart by hand but wasnt as smokey as the other two meats. The coleslaw was crisp but the flavor was unremarkable. The cornbread was flavorful with just the right amount of moisture. I wasnt a fan of the sweet tea, but the unsweetened tea was better. There were 6 different BBQ sauces along with Carolina vinegar sauce from which to choose. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of the food for a chain BBQ joint. I really liked the military theme, with photos, memorabilia and TV/movie references on the walls. I would definitely visit again.

First let me say that I think its great that they honor the military folks (gave an extra star just for that). When it comes to the food this was the worst BBQ I ever had. Keep in mind that I am from Texas so I have high expectations but I will be fair in my judgement. The first issue was that the pork and beef were very dry. The cornbread and bread for the sandwich was also very dry. A good BBQ place should have good quality BBQ sauce. That leads me to the second issue: the Texas BBQ sauce was not real BBQ sauce (it was similar to steak sauce). I read on the label that the main ingredient was A1 sauce (taste buds dont lie). Note to owner: steak sauces is not BBQ sauce. The founder of this restaurant has no clue what real BBQ is.

"Hi Folks!" is how our very pleasant experience started. Very friendly staff greeted us from across the room as we entered the front door. Placed our orderd for two sandwiches that we both enjoyed very much. We definitely will be back. Lots of choices for your meat lovers. Tried their delicious fries. Maggies Mac-N-Cheese was a thumbs up by our cheese lover. Baked beans were rich with deep smokey flavor. Atmosphere is very pleasant and comfortable. All the sauces allows everyone to try their own creations. We also found the Alabama White sauce up by the condiments near the drinks area. Great for the fries. We will be back Folks! So far the best chain BBQ we ever had.

Nice place but as a Vet I have to say this place is a touch over the top in its patriotic fervor. After putting a bite of food in my mouth there is an announcement to the effect of, "As we do at noon everyday, please stand as we play the National Anthem!" - cue the music as everyone awkwardly stands up with hands over hearts until the music fades...I felt seriously awkward having no clue that was about to happen so stood with a wad of brisket in my mouth for the duration. BBQ itself was decent - brisket was a bit dry but the smoked sausage was pretty good. Sauces were a bit too complicated - they need a simple BBQ sauce that isnt themed as honey or A1 based.

This place has got to be one of my favorite places for anything bbq, their meats are never far from perfection, portions are plentiful, prices are decent, their membership program is generous with handing out food, and their support for law enforcement, armed forces, etc. often catering for them (for example; during the Baltimore riots, and at some of the funerals of our fallen soldiers) shows that the company is proud of the nation its in. Sadly, these venues are quite a ways away from where I live but it is certainly worth a try, if you havent been to any Mission BBQ.

Went here for Lunch on Sept. 23rd. The line was out the door and yet we were ordered, seated and had food in about 10 mins! The Manager greeted us in line and explained the menu. Then when we were done eating and just talking with some friends he brought out a dessert for our 7 kids to share! It made their day and made this my favorite place to eat! Also as someone who spent 20 years in retail upper management he did an amazing job of training on the go and giving suggestions and not orders to people! Terrific food, great environment and amazing service!

Extremely friendly staff, and clean facilities. The food was good and had lots of flavor. The corn bread was a little too sweet for my liking - as were most of the sauces. I enjoyed the NC sauce though - it was close to what one would get down in NC. The atmosphere was great! I appreciated seeing such a wonderful tribute to the armed forces and our local first responders. I found it to be a little pricey - especially for an order at the counter and then find your seat establishment. We will definitely be back again to try more of their fare!

My family and I really enjoyed Mission BBQ! We all had pork bbq sandwiches and they were delicious. They do not sauce their pork, allowing the customer to choose their favorite, from are 7 or 8 different varieties. I loved the NC vinegar sauce! Their sides were also very good, unlike many other BBQ joints I have tried. The mac and cheese was great, and so were the bbq beans. The slaw needed more salt. Great sweet tea to wash it all down. Service was outstanding. Employees were very friendly. Will definitely be back!

Over whelming menu, staff is pushy and that is not sitting down at one of many of the booths they have, can I not have a brisket priced at 7.50 or does it take 2 hour for a a person to cut my meat and bring it to me. The flavor is there but it is lacking the restaurant vibe. More like fast good dry smoked meat, but if you sit with your dried meat you can smother the nasty tasty sauces not form there kicthen. Not very bbq where you can taste the smoke with some bread and butter chips and onions

I went into Mission BBQ to grab a Brisket sandwich but then I saw the Black Plate Special. I couldnt pass up a prime rib that looked that good. It was a good choice. The prime rib was delicious with a definite BBQ smokiness. I was surprised I only got plastic knife and fork but it was very tender and I had no problems. As for the sides, I really enjoyed the Mac & Cheese but the baked beans were meh. I am glad I stopped by and gave them a try.

Compared to BBQ in the Midwest this is some great food. Compared to local places this is amazing. The meat is smoked to perfection and tender with a great flavor all its own. The sauces are mind blowing in their own right and in combination with the meat makes for a wonderful meal. The staff is friendly but not obnoxiously so and the atmosphere is exactly what is called for.
