I placed my order 10 min in advance and the person on the phone told me it would be 5-10 min. When I walked in I ended up waiting another 10-15 min and there was not even 10 other customers seated and the place looked fully staffed (Tuesday 3pm). When I finally received my order half of it was wrong. I immediately asked the nearest waitress to please fix it. After another 5 min or so of waiting I decided to checked the rest of my order. My sandwich looked disgusting as if the cook had literally just sloped it together and didnt think twice about it. How hard is it to make a Egg Sandwich?!? The sandwich was literally falling apart and the bread was mush, soaked with oil/tomato juice. The eggs were way burnt (dark brown?!?! Are you kidding me?). Instead of slices of tomatoes (like any other normal place) you could clearly see that the cook was in a rush diced a tomato,half assed it then threw it on the sandwich. I could literally cut a tomato better blindfolded with my car keys. I NEVER ever leave bad reviews, NEVER! I understand that people make mistakes and that things happen but the Bridgeport Flyer not only wasted almost a hour of my time, there mistakes and bad service made me late to work, on top of all this I have a empty stomach and no time to eat. The manager/waitresses did not even apologize or try to make it right with me and it seemed like none of them gave two sh*ts. UNBELIEVABLE

Went to Bridgeport Flyer Diner late last night with 2 other people. We ordered 3 simple meals, One being Chicken Wrap, Omelette, Bacon Egg & Cheese Sandwich with a Chocolate Milkshake. We get our meals and whats missing on the table? Glasses of Water! We look around to each table next to us and everyone else either had waters or a pitcher and water! Than my milkshake comes out, Do you think the waitress would leave me a straw? NO! So we all try very hard to eat our meals and we just need water and I need a straw. My friend ask the waitress as she came by if we can have water. She comes back with one water! REALLY!!! REALLY! I am saying to myself in disbelief this place sucks. Before she walked away I asked for a straw. It was like she really didnt want to give me the straw but than threw it on the table. Can you say childish? So on that note after what I went through last night, I will no longer patronize Bridgeport Flyer Diner. Ill Take the ride further to another diner that will actually care for their job.

Boy, are you in for a treat! Do you like bowling alley food? Then this is the place for you. Normally, mozzarella sticks have the mozzarella cheese inside them. Not so with Bridgeport Flyer Diner - they shart their cheesy insides all over your jalapeño poppers; jalapeño poppers which have been stuffed, surprisingly, with cheese whiz. The service was as impeccable as their food. Immediately upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly meth addict who proceeded to have a seizure and collapse on the front steps. Our entire meal was accompanied by the romantic lighting of fire trucks, police cars and ambulances. All in all, this was a memorable experience worthy of five stars due to its perfect representation of the small town of Bridgeport, the butthole of Connecticut.

Several vists all with the same results. Thought the first time I tought it was because it was late in the evening. The second time the diner was packed. Last night there was only a handful of tables occupied and we actually walked out - something I never do. I dont expect to wait 15 minutes at a diner to be acknowledged and then once we placed our order, I watched the waitress clean a counter, serve some coffee and desserts all with the order she took from us still sitting in her pocket. It was a full 20 plus minutes at that point - again - very few tables occupied. Wont get another visit from us - thats for sure.

Usually when I go to the flyer its a pleasant experience, food is always good, service always friendly. However my wife and I went to get a bite to eat last sunday, terrible service im sorry to say. Usually we sit in the back but sat at the counter to watch a show this time. When we asked for a refill on our drinks, the server rolled her eyes very clearly at us, totally uncalled for. We are pretty sure the waitress was speaking to another staff in spanish about us, made my wife very uncomfortable. Im hoping my future experiences will be good ones.

The food is horrible I just posted pics of the food delivery the boxs r first thrown on the ground under the fuel tank then kicked on the dolly now into the kitchen were Im sure the only standard is like a freight train fast the people who own this place should be ashamed of themselves food poisoning on a plate is what they serve eating out of a dumpster is a better idea I hope that the owner understand s that greeting people is not a owner s job but quality control is u r robbing the customer with the low standards thanks Mike

My family and I went there Sunday night for dinner and had the sweetest waitress. Very kind, not rushing us and really over accommodated us which was nice. The kitchen made a wing for my son to try before he ordered a basket because he is super picky with buffalo and hot sauce and they offered and said it was no problem. All in all a pleasant experience and definitely will be back. I am bad with names but the receipt I looked at said Dennis, K. So if you go there feel very comfortable with her as your server.

The service wasnt great and the food was ok. The whole time my family and I was there we were ignored by the waitress. She would ask how the other tables were doing but not once she came to our table. We ask for things she never brought them until finally she ask when we were almost finished eating. Just my opinion, maybe she doesnt like serving people of color. Being the type of people we are we still left her a tip. Of course worth her service.

I eat at alot of dinners because i enjoy them! The Bridgeport Flyer Diner is one of the Best anywhere! It has a relaxed comfortable atmosphere (not chrome,mirrors and neon). Great service, fast and friendly! Great food at a reasonable price! Im a regular there for breakfast, have dinner there a couple of times a month and always after a latenight with friends! So go and enjoy!

I love the flyer and almost everyone there! food , service is excellent and ive been coming for years. But wayne has always given me some attitude and has been very rude;he really needs and attitude adjustment.I wont even sit in his section when i go which is very often. On a good note dont forget to try the new englander very awesome sandwich!

Superb service, family style fair, great menu with very fair prices. Dinner specials are scrumptious and you cant beat the luncheon choices. I hate to tell you to go there because if you do, I may have to wait longer for a table. Its worth the wait. My wife and I find it more convenient to eat there than at home.
