I went to the old location and had all good experiences. The new location however has been getting steadily worse. The food is seldom the issue (if you actually manage to get what you order), but the wait staff is TERRIBLE! I was a very regular customer but the last 3 visits have made me never want to spend a dime here again. One visit the wait staff spent more time trading explitives with each other than they did taking care of the customers. So much for a place I feel comfortable taking my young children. Next visit they were out of salad. This isnt the end of the world but the staff almost had an attitude about it and no substitution or discount was offered. The next visit i was seated quickly then forgotten about. By the time someone came to get the drink order we had already decided on our food. I ordered a water and a milk shake. The water didnt come until after my salad, and the shake was forgotten completely with no explanation or apology. Then I watched 2 tables that ordered after me, get their food before me. Not one refill on drinks was offered during the meal and I had to ask for the check. Not one visit was during a busy time. Very disappointing

Seems to have lost some of its small town home cooked feel recently since the move. Not a bad place but after knowing the old owner for 20+ years and having patronized the restaurant from the start, the difference is obvious. Not a bad place still, but last visit the portions were VERY small so much so that french dip meat, didnt cover the bun it was on. Been disappointed the last 3 times weve gone for various shortcomings. Wait staff is friendly but seem to forget things on EVERY visit. Be it condiments or salads, sides, whatever it is it is always at least one thing thats forgotten, leaving you to eat cold food if you are set in your ways of eating and need everything to be there as you want it to be before youll eat the food, ie: mayo, extra ranch, au-jus, etc... think they need to get back on quality and portion control as they used to be. In summ a tion, food is good most of the time, but sometimes portions are lacking. Service is friendly, but sometimes maybe too much so on friends and regulars, that they dont concentrate on creating a pleasant and complete dining experience for all patrons.

Ive been going to Great Scotts for the better part of 10 years now. This place used to be the best late-night spot in town. They have a big menu and everything gets served 24/7, so thats a bonus. Overall, the food has always been great, no complaints. The service at the new location is pretty meh. Honestly, the biggest problem is that they put in these really high dividers in the middle of the restaurant. The result is that theres no line-of-sight to the counter where the servers congregate. You cant catch your servers eye if you need something, you just kind of have to hope they make regular rounds. This is worse at night. Ive found the new system is generally slower and lower quality, which is a shame. It also sucks big time that the new location doesnt have a patio, I think that really lowers the appeal in the warmer months -- it was one of the most popular aspects of visiting in the summer evenings -- in fact it keeps me from visiting when there are better options with a patio.

This restaurant has become an All-Time Favorite. The food quality is OUT OF THIS WORLD and the staff at the Cortez Street location are simply OUTSTANDING. One server in particular, Aurora Sky, is definitely our all-time favorite server for this location. She is so incredibly far beyond amazingly awesome that there are no words to describe her. Merriam-Webster Dictionary cannot do her justice. The food, I do not believe there is one single item on the menu that is bad. I have tried a huge variety of the menu items, but now I have finally settled on a favorite. Its the chicken-strips diner dinner and coleslaw. The coleslaw is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST in Denver (and Ill go as far as to say Colorado). I wish they could offer bigger servings of it because I would definitely be ordering the larger (huger) portions. (LOL) If you get a chance to stop in, definitely do yourself a favor and ... DO IT!!! You wont be disappointed. Service is awesome and the food is OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD!!!

Used to be my favorite place to get food but it seems to have gained popularity in the last year or so and the place is always very crowded and the food quality has gone down a good deal in response. In recent months theyve regularly messed up orders or lacked ingredients and substituted items. Breakfasts without toast, salads without dressing, sides or ingredients missing from meals, and so on. Service and servers seem good, but the quality issues bother me, I feel like its a coin toss on whether or not my order will be right. EDIT - New update - Theyve gotten better since moving to the new location. I enjoy their food again, though dont eat there as often as I used to. Its a decent diner, despite the occasional mistakes and issues. Bumping it up another star since my previous review.

Extremely disappointed with how this restaurant has gone down hill in the last few months. Moving into this area I was very happy finding such a great place to eat and was sad when they closed to move locations. During the grand re-opening, service was great and the food was awesome. Lately not so much. Sometimes it can take ten minutes before my drink order is even taken. My food has come out cold a few times. I never recieved my shake or salad one night. Another night I was seated by the kitchen and all In could hear was cussing from the staff members in the kitchen and the waiters, sometimes my roommate and i have a toddler with us. Not cool. Sad to say I will not be going back here. After bad service from three different waiters I will no longer waste my money or time.

One of the worst places Ive ever been! Very very inconsistent! Went there 3weeks ago 3of us order the fajita chicken dinner, all 3 come sizzling and were fairly decent. So we decided to eat there again lastnight and the true colors came out!!! We order malts, they took forever, werent mixed well, very lumpy n nasty!! Then out food comes I ordered a bacon cheeseburger the most basic thing to cook n a restaurant rite? The bun was so hard I couldnt break it with my bare hands! Was under cooked! The guy that came with me orderes the fajitas they come not sizzling but frozen! No shells he waited forever for those to come aswell! I was so disappointed I will not ever return to this establishment!

Just love the atmosphere! 50s inspired. I found myself singing away to the music. The menu has something for everyone young and old. If you love kale, come try their green drink with kale and pineapple. Yummy onion rings. Great breakfast! You want salad? Order their big cobb salad. They can cook you up a steak and baked potato if you need some protein. I love their turkey dinner. Curly fries for the kids. Try a malt! How about chicken and dumplings or clam chowder? Portions are plenty. Prices are as good as any other place or better. Seniors get a nice discount! Very clean. Great place for a midnight snack as they are open 24 hours 7 days a week.
