Eh... this place annoyed me a little bit. It was dead on an early Tuesday evening, at least on the inside... San Francisco was insanely hot yesterday so so many people were sitting outside. We asked one of the waitresses for an extra chair. It took forever before we got it. Ordered the "saintly sweet" cocktail, which is made with: Cazadores Reposado, chartreuce, pineapple juice, fresh lemon juice, and agave nectar. Paid 8.50 for it. It was TERRIBLE. Maybe the bartendress didnt make it well but it tasted like medicine. Seriously. I and my friend tried it and we both hated it. Clientele seemed pretty pretentious and snobbish themselves; it really doesnt seem like a good place to meet new people. I remember going there once before and feeling the same type of vibe. Ill skip this place again.

An Irish bar in the mission/ noe valley. Not only do they have great service but the food is great. They have from traditional Irish food to now traditional. They also have taco Tuesdays and great price. The have tvs in great places, so when ever you want to go watch the game with your friends I would recommend going there, and watching the game have a drink and have some great food. And they accept cash and credit cards, which at some bars it is just cash, so it is great.

Great beers on tap and although I wasnt there for happy hour, it looks like a must do in The Mission. Pretty large space, room for parties of all sizes. What I Ate: Arugula, Bacon and Tomato flat bread, Buffalo Wings and Bacon & Fontina Croquettes. I would get the flat bread again but unfortunately not the other two. Brunch menu also looks delicious, will be back soon to try again and check out the happy hour!

Brunch was pretty good. Friendly service and not crowded. My mushroom and leek omelet was cooked and seasoned exactly right, which was surprising since this is a bar first that just tacked on a brunch service. Oddly, my bloody Mary was the disappointing part. Would come again for brunch, especially if Mission Street Cafe or other popular spots have too long of a wait.

Theres a decent selection of beers on tap, and my $6.50 Guinness was great. The fish and chips were fine, but the rest of the food was underwhelming and on the expensive side. I might stop by and try brunch here one morning, but I feel Id have a much better meal one block away on Valencia.

This place has a great location with limited outdoor seating, but on a nice day the sunny seats are cozy and provide some entertaining people watching. Its a great spot for a Sunday afternoon beer. They have decent happy hour deals and I highly recommend their sweet potato fries!

Liberties is a great hang out place with a full bar. In addition, whereas most bars on a weekend are packed, you have a chance here of being able to grabs seats and hang out with your friends without being constantly jostled. Their kitchen is also open late, which is a huge plus.

I went here late at night and had the best pick me up meal consisting of grilled cheese, tomato soup, and the San Francisco summer drink. I highly recommend any part of this meal (especially the drink). Also nice that they are open late and have very wonderful staff.

Was having a fair time, then not five minutes after placing my second bar was told by some member of the staff that saw me without a glass that this was not a "freebie" place. Needless to say, our party left shortly after and continued our evening elsewhere.

Reminds me of the neighborhood pubs in the UK - good selection of beers (including a handful you wont typically find elsewhere), solid food (you cant go wrong with sweet potato fries and a burger ... or try the steak with fries or fish and chips).

Liberties is exactly what youd expect from a good neighborhood Irish pub. The food is decent (not great), several beers on tap, friendly staff, sports are usually on TV, etc. Definitely worth stopping by for a pint if youre in the area.

I had a great breakfast on a Saturday. No lines!! The breakfast pizza was amazing, as well as all the egg dishes my friends ordered. Coffee was watery, and they didnt have breakfast sausage. (Who doesnt have that on a Saturday?)

The Liberties is a low key place with above average food but some delicious drinks and very kind staff. Its open late and is definitely reliable. The grilled cheese + tomato soup combo was exactly what I needed.

Feels like one of those pubs in England that has sold out to a major distributor. I have chosen to go here because they have outdoor seating and sweet potato fries, but its not really anything special.

Great neighborhood bar. Plenty of seating in the back room. Trivia on Monday nights is great. Good burgers, good brunch. Skip the traditional Irish food unless youre a big fan of the cuisine.

Great local pub with a good beer selection and your standard greasy pub food. I recommend it for a low key brunch spot thats not too busy or for watching a game, where it gets pretty rowdy.

Fell in love with this spot right away- theres always a place to sit, great beer selection and convenient location in the Mission. Bar bites are also delicious- get the sweet potato fries!

After driving by this place many times and wanting to go in, turns out there is nothing special to it. The service is crummy and the beer options are completely run-of-the-mill.

We had a big group so we reserved a table towards the back separate section, which worked out great. Nice cocktails, probably as pricey as most of SF.

Love the curry. It actually works very well with beer. Kitchen open until late, and got Boddingtons and Kilkenny on tap. Yeah, thatll do.

Nice neighborhood place with good bar food and beer selection. But $2.50 for a soda water? Come on. Minus two stars for that.

Great french fries, beverages and service. Slightly out of the way and therefore less crowded than many spots in the Mission.

A great neighborhood bar with a friendly staff and good drink specials. Also a good place to watch Football without a crowd.
