I go there every so often for their lunch specials (work nearby). Their service is fast and the lunch specials reasonably priced for soup plus the main dish and rice... about $8 with a drink. I particularly love their schechuan eggplant special, I havent had it anywhere else and find it delicious. The Mongolian Beef is quite good as well. The rest of the food seems fresh and tasty for pretty standard-fare gringo Chinese food.

Sweet and sour chicken + chicken fried rice was okay. Not the best Ive ever had. Service was terrible. Server barely talked to us, didnt greet us. They sat around watching TV. Definitely gave off the vibe they didnt want us there. Bathrooms were a little.... Not so great. I think that says a lot about the care they put into the rest of the place.

We live close by so I called in an order. After digesting the cost for so little I immediately called back to cancel. They told me I could not cancel. I said I just did. The guy said, "do not ever call back." We have not. Much prefer the value and quality of food down the road at Panda Express.

With more or less three other Chinese joints left to try in Fairfield, of the first three I have tried here (Dynasty and Frank and Yuens being the other two) this was probably the best of some of the most awful Chinese food found on this earth. Happy Garden is bland at best.

We ordered two chicken items to go. When we got back to our hotel, we found the two chicken dishes and no rice. We were not informed when we ordered that rice was extra...and it is included at 99%+ of the other Chinese restaurants weve been to. Check your order!

Happy Garden has undeniably the best honey walnut prawns you will find anywhere... We always order Mongolian beef Peking beef Pork & string beans. (a little spicy) and of course the Honey walnut prawns.. with the house fried rice.

I am by any stretch of the imagination, NOT a Chinese food authority. What I do have, however, is pretty sensitive taste. Out of all the Chinese restaurants in the area, Happy Garden delivers consistently excellent food.

Literally some of the best Chinese food ive ever had. Their fried chickens are actually 90% CHICKEN. Dishes are full of flavor, moderate pricing, and pretty good dish sizes!

Great place! Delicious food, nice and clean ambiance. We asked for wor wonton soup and Mongolian beef, and both were really tasty.

Ask Fred for his honey walnut prawns or the potstickers. The sauce is like nothing Ive ever tasted before! Delicious!
