This review is more about Milanos quality of service and business practice, rather than their food. We placed a large pizza order for our sons birthday party weeks ago and Milanos called us TWO DAYS before the party to let us know they now cannot fulfill our order because they made a mistake and failed to let us know at the time that our order did not meet the minimum cost for a Sunday order. We then had to scramble to find another place that would fulfill our order on such short notice. Luckily after calling around we did find somewhere. I understand people make mistakes, fine. But they made no attempt to compensate or help us out in any way, or to make an exception due to THEIR mistake. This is not how a good business that hopes to make long term relationships with their customers should operate. I felt compelled to spread the word that Milanos Delis bad business practice of terribly inconveniencing a customer with no remorse or recourse needs to be made public so others may be aware and avoid. BE WARNED. Thank you.

Great food, epically horrible delivery. I love the food - the meatballs are the best in Boston (though expensive), the pizza is great and huge for the price and I also like their Dallas Special sub. Not as big of a fan of their Italian sub as others are here on Yelp (I think Uncle Ninos does them better). Pick up only from them - do not order delivery unless you are not hungry and are willing to accept cold food. I have ordered delivery twice from them and both times it took two hours to arrive and the pizza was stone cold (as in they probably made it when I ordered it but then it sat for two hours waiting on the delivery guy).

Cant beat the atmosphere, and the food is absolutely just like traditional sunday dinner @ home. it is the ONLY place i go to for Italian food outside of my own kitchen. Their catering is fantastic as well, i had them cater for my papas funeral, couldnt have have asked for better people to be there fpr good times and for not so good. They truly are the best.

I arrived exactly at 09:00 am (schedule time to be opened). A man in his late 20s or early 30s was extremely upset because I walked in and the staff had not arrived yet, seeing his misdemeanor I decided to leave and never go back again! So unfortunate that they have this type of business going on when their food is so exceptional.

I have been going to Milanos for years. They serve great sandwiches without a wait, the most 10mins when really busy. You got the typical Italian deli menu and the quality never changes. The best chicken tips over rice anywhere. The staff been great, Debbie always does a fantastic job. Overall, top notch.

This place sucks. Horrible customer service not very customer friendly. I ordered a Italian sub and it had to be the worst Italian sub I have ever had. Royals a block away make a mean Italian sub and they come from a Greek background.
