This evening, my wife brought us home double cooked pork and lo mein. This was the first time I have tried China Moon. It was by far the worst meal I have had in a very very long time. We only had a few bites before we decided to just throw it away. Cabbage made up the main portion of the double cooked pork meal and was under cooked. I think they just tossed it in oil and threw it on a pan for a short period of time. It was close to eating raw cabbage. The only seasoning I could taste was red pepper, but the meal had an overwhelming taste of smoked olive oil. The lo mein noodles tasted like powder. Very hard to describe...almost like wet noodles placed in flour, cooked for short period of time, then served. The entire meal was a total waste. We will never be going back. Its a good thing there is more than one location in River Falls for Chinese.

I actually wish I could live at this place. I want to go here every single day and my friends get really angry at me because they just dont like China Moon as much as me. I wish that China Moon could be a part of my life every single day. I pray to China Moon every night. Sometimes my dad and my friends calls me a nerd because I love China Moon so much. The other night I saw a plate of General Tsos Chicken and buttery potatoes. I knew that China Moon was there. I was so happy. China moon showed up and gave me a big smile. I was ready. I spread my mouth open wide, and shoved China Moon into my mouth. The entire restaurant was consumed by my almighty gluttony. My dad walked into my room and stared on in horror as I consumed the concrete, brick, entire buffet, all of the customers. China Moon is life. China Moon is love. Praise China Moon.

This is the first time weve come to this restaurant and came out very disappointed. We dined in later in the evening and had the buffet. ONIONS in everything, thick gooey sauce, and very, very salty or too sweet. The food tasted like it had been sitting under the lamps too long and was burned/dried. The fried chicken/items were darkened as well suggesting they too have been sitting too long or used bad quality oil. Im not sure but all this was not especially appetizing. Maybe if we came in earlier the food would have been better but I doubt it. Went home afterwards and felt sick. I had a couple glasses of water too because the food was so salty. Overall, I dont think well be coming here again.

I used to love this place growing up and went here all the time...Today I went for the first time in about 2 years and wow was I surprised. One, the renovations look fantastic and the place looks updated and clean now, but the food...HORRIBLE! They used to have great fried rice, nicely cream cheese-filled wonton sizes, now the fried rice tasted burnt and chewy. The chicken wings had no meat on them and were kind of cold..overall I was just displeased..Had I not already put food in my to-go box I would have left and went somewhere else for sure. Im sad to say that I will not be returning to this place ever again...Nice renovations though, makes up for the bad food.

Fantastic service. Wanted Chinese food late at night and they were the only ones open till 10pm. Came in at 9:45 and they still served me. Very friendly and had smiles on their faces. Clean restaurant, never have problems, seated fast, and refills always fast. Would recommend to others. Very reasonable on prices & on par with similar restaurants. Always return due to great service. Cannot say enough nice things about them. Give them a chance if youre in town. You wont be disappointed.

THIS IS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN THE MIDWEST I KID YOU NOT. Its buffet style or pay-per-pound to go. Its affordable. I cant remember off the top of my head, but its around $7. And it is BEYOND DELICIOUS. Its so good. All of it. And theyre constantly putting fresh food out. Love it. 10/10 would recommend.

Just got good from here last night due to King House in Ellsworth being closed. The two are not even comparable. The food Fromm China Moon was just bad. We just tossed it. If you want amazing Chinese and can drive the 15 minutes to Ellsworth go there!

Great local food. Sometimes the buffet food is a bit "old" from sitting out for a while but 90% of the time its fresh and packed full of flavors. We frequently get it to go since we live down the street, great food for the price!

I go there frequently. It is better to go as early as possible for which ever meal you want to eat. For the most part, I would suggest the lunch buffet. Better priced and the selection is roughly the same for dinner.

Everytime I come to river falls I eat here. All the food is fresh and excellent, trust me, I know. Im originally from Saint Paul and eat Chinese at least once a week. Better than all the places in the twin cities.

It is decent food at a average price for Asian food. The first time I ate there I did not enjoy what I ordered but tried a different dish the next time and was happy with the curry chicken. Friendly staff.

Delicious food! Usually buffet food is sub-par, which is sort of understandable since offering so much food when it wont always get eaten can be costly, but the place has great food and friendy service.
