Horrible. If you like waiting 40 minutes for 2 burgers and unable to try any beers, then this is the place for you. Oh and did I mention it wasnt busy? My gf & I came and thought we would try this new place on her lunch break. She had 45 minutes & it was 2pm in the afternoon. We assumed we had time. We got seated right away since there were maybe 20 people in the place and easily 20 staff members. I wanted to try their beers but a "pipe" was broke, so none of their beers were available to try. I got a coke. She got a water. We ordered no appetizers & ordered right away as we just wanted to eat and enjoy a nice lunch. She ended up having her water and having to leave after 40 minutes. The waiter came and said the food would be out shortly to which I told him to bring the check and put them in to go boxes. He gave the check to me and I gave my card to which he disappeared for 10 more minutes. Came back with the check and a few more minutes later finally gave me the food. Having got home, come to find out they gave us the wrong burger for my gf. She did not order the burger we received. I expect this place to have a for lease sign on it in less than a year. If this was when it wasnt even busy, Id hate to see it when it is busy. Also we got no apology for the wait. No question why she left and I was asking for to go boxes. I never write reviews but could not let this one go.

We came here after hearing good things from friends. It took almost two hours from seating to billing! I wish I wouldve timed how long it took between requests for things like water to the time delivered. The waitress only had bad excuses as to why drinks and food werent delivered. Beers had no or poor taste. Grilled cheese and meatloaf were bland. Chicken berry salad was so drenched in dressing, it was inedible. Kids pizza was good. The only time staff was fast was to clear the table. We werent even done paying before the bussers started; and there were plenty of open tables so it didnt seem like they needed to seat another party. Slow, poor service. Below average food and beer quality for the price. I doubt I will return. Update 8/15/17: The owner spoke with my wife today for a long time. He apologized for the poor service and said one of the issues that caused it has been resolved. Were impresses with the owners customer service. We may give the restaurant another chance soon. Ive revised my 1-start rating to 3 stars because of the conversation.

Its not going down to Brady Street, and its not going down to the 3rd Ward. Its here in Southridge, so it is convenient for those of us on the south side. From the looks of the place it has room, a fireplace inside, a fire pit outside. We sat outside on a warminsh Saturday afternoon. Good blues was playing on the speakers. Fist off let me say their beer menu if large, I counted 21 House brews, and 3 guest brews on tap! We both ordered the Nut Brown. The flavor was there, but there was no head, I dont know if it sat there too long, as service was a tad slow, or if it was flat, disappointed! The menu is large as well, I started with Wisconsin rarebit soup, herself got the English onion soup, Both were very very good! My entré was Mussels, you can get 3 different styles, I got the Provençal. They did not disappoint! She who must be obeyed got the BBQ chicken sandwich, she says-MEH. For our 2nd beers I chose the Vienna Lager, the Ill be bock Miabock, both were OK. Would I go back? I dont know. The place has potential, guess I will try it once more....

If it was up to me I wouldnt give them a single star. How this place has 4.7 stars is beyond me. Was told it would be an hour wait for a party of 5 which can be understandable for a Saturday night. Checked after an hour and was told it would be another 10-15 mins, that came and past, checked again was told it would be another 15 minutes, went to check again and she was like "oh the party of 5?" She went to check but was able to stop at a table get some crayons for them, stopped and spoke to someone else and then finally I believe it was a manager that she was talking to. I had enough, walked up and said listen were leaving its been 2 hours and now your just about to seat us? We saw parties the same size get seated before us. I didnt even have to eat here to know this is a place that I would never go back to. All I got was a sorry. By far the worst customer service. For a new restaurant the first impression is the most important and they failed horribly!!

I dont know what all the complaints are about but this isnt McDonalds so no, the food doesnt arrive instantly. We went at dinner time on a Thursday night, first off our waitress Abby was exceptional , very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and beers. Second, she also explained as we ordered our appetizer that if we were decided that we should order our dinner because again this isnt fast food and they needed time to bake our dinner to order. We placed our order and our food came out in a timely fashion and the place was busy. We really enjoyed the pretzel as well as the meatloaf. Definitely will be back:) Thanks Abby

My finace and I have come here to eat more than once and its always been pretty good! We have came in tonight and it was HORRIBLE and the manager was so so so RUDE!! I let him know what the problem was and he refused to fix the problem and told me he was going to box the food up and make me pay for it!! He was so mean and did not care that the one order was not good and taste burnt and bland!! I mean come on!! He argued with us in front of all the other guests...very unprofessional.

We got our beer and food package from Groupon. When we got there it was a misunderstanding but the manager (Jeff Meinhardt) quickly fixed it. He gave us 4 free samples on top of what we already received from the Groupon. He continuously checked on us, engaged in small talk, and gave us EXCELLENT service. The beer quality was great (sky was my favorite). The wings were also very good. If I stayed here this was be my go to spot. Thank you guys for a great experience.

I must rate it a five for a few reasons. Freshly prepared food thats really good, very friendly staff, great location, awesome selection of drinks. Every time I return (6 times) the crew seems to be getting better , the food turn around time is better. Everything gets better here, so Ill keep coming. And best of all is not owned by some rich franchise , its locally owned and run so makes it way better! Keep up the great work everyone!

Was told that it would be a 1 hour wait and that they would text me when the table was ready. An hour and 10 minutes went by and still no text. I went to see how much longer and was told 10 minutes more. Still no text. Another person in my party went up to ask and was told 10 minutes. Long story short, we next got a text nearly 2 hours later. And I was really looking forward to checking this place out.
