We ordered a small birthday cake and yes it was a challenging idea as far as decoration, but that is why you go to a place like this because the local grocery probably wouldnt be able to "create" something quite right. We wanted a SPECIAL cake. We anticipated ooohing and aweing over the cake and what we received made us go ewww. Our cake had horrible decorations, a city scape that looked like a cardboard fort rectangles slapped to the sides, no details, ive made more difficultly decorated gingerbread cookies. The fondant was falling off inside of the box, then just plain script on the top. For $75.00 a little more effort was expected. Celebrity Cake Studio is not capable as they may try to appear. Everything that was requested as far as decoration they couldnt do. We even got a larger cake than needed because they told us they could do more with a bigger cake. We wanted them as cake artists to get creative and that did not happen. So we gave them a call to tell them we were unhappy and frankly they said they thought our idea would offend the birthday girl so they did what they wanted. Her Mother ordered the cake and they think they know the birthday girl better than her own mother? Also they only would offer us 30% off of our next order. Why would we ever go back? The cake tasted ok but nothing like we expected. If you are looking for a cake that HAS to be perfect and has to be special id go to Trophy Cupcakes I have used them in the past and was MORE than satisfied!

When my husband and I first got engaged, it was important to us that we have a wedding cake that tasted as good as it looked. Thankfully, with a place like Celebrity Cake Studio in Tacoma, this was an easy item to check of our wedding to-do list! We scheduled a tasting (so many flavors!) and were able to sit down with someone to talk about what we wanted our cake to look like. I was amazed by the different ways in which the cake could be customized, making it as elaborate as you wanted! In the end my husband and I chose to two flavors (at no additional cost, I believe) and a simple design with a ribbon I could choose and bring in closer to the wedding day. I appreciated Celebrity Cake Studios attention to detail: as they were making my cake, they called twice to let me know that the ribbon color would change as it absorbed some of the oils from the butter cream frosting and ask if I still wanted the ribbon on, and to ask if I wanted to add the original color of the ribbon through additional detail work on the cake (again, at no additional charge). I trusted their judgement, and they did not disappoint! So many guests commented on how the cake tasted and looked. We had a wonderful experience with Celebrity Cake Studio, and would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a cake for any occasion!

Loved, loved, loved my wedding cake. I was having the hardest time getting a cake ordered due to other circumstances, so when I went to this place 4 weeks before my wedding, I was pleasantly surprised they would get me my cake at an affordable price and with no rush fee. I had to take an early delivery time due to my late order, but the owner himself brought it to the house for the wedding and placed it in the fridge. The cake was beautiful and, even more importantly, was delicious!! I chose the pink champagne cake with a fresh strawberry and cream filling, it was prefect. I almost went to a large corporate vendor but decided to give this place a look before ordering, so happy I did because they were comparably affordable and offered such a better flavor selection. Plus they do cakes for all sorts of events, so Ill be getting more cakes from them for sure. You wont regret getting your wedding cake them at all!

Weve had many cakes made for us by Celebrity Cake Studio and they all have been fabulous! My sons third birthday cake is STILL being talked about by our friends and family, even a year later. He was a train fanatic so we asked for something resembling Thomas the Tank Engine. What they came up (with very little direction/effort on our part) was PERFECT, so impressive and charming, and of course delicious. They have become our go-to bakery for our special events, and weve also made them our exclusive provider of cakes for "first birthday cake smashes" at our baby portrait studio. Without exception, our clients love their cakes as much as we do. Weve seen their work regularly at weddings weve photographed over the past eleven years and its always exceptional. Not only that, Mary Ann, Odette and the rest of the Celebrity team have always gone above and beyond on their customer service. We love Celebrity!

For almost 10 years we have used celebrity cake studio for all of our special events. The staff are friendly and helpful and the cakes taste as good as they look. Our favorites are chocolate cake, orange cake and carrot cake, although I seriously doubt there is a bad flavor. In the past we even had the need for a vegan cake which they were able to do, and it was equally delicious according to the non vegans. The design of every cake is beautiful. I always go in with a basic idea and give creative control to the decorators, and they go above and beyond every time. There is no better bakery, including all of the ones in Seattle. Everything from 1 cupcake or a single slice to a cake that will serve 200 is done with perfection. For as long as they remain in business, we will continue to celebrate all of our events with them.

If you need a wedding cake, definitely consider Celebrity Cake Studio. My wife and I began the search for our wedding cake and visited about 20 different vendors. For price, quality, design, and time efficiency, Celebrity Cake Studio exceeded all of our expectations. Our experience began with a 20-minute tasting process (delicious - and a bit hard to choose from considering they were all tasty) in a room with plenty of examples (my wife was able to construct her ideal wedding cake by combining themes from two different cakes), and Celebrity Cake Studio was able to meet our budgetary needs (providing cakes to 200 guests for under $600). On the wedding day, they showed up in Seattle on time, with the right cake, and it was delicious. For our future cake needs, we definitely plan to use Celebrity Cake Studio. Jim

Every cake we have had from Celebrity Cake Studio has not only gone beyond our expectations with their amazingly creative work & taste like no others around but their customer service exceeds all as well!! Everyone is always so excited to see the design that we get & LOVES how well it tastes!! My most recent purchase was for my best friends daughter as her gift for her BIG "18th" Birthday. I asked for a design that is usually only done with a much larger size. They went out of their way to try a new size just for this cake & it was AMAZING!! She was soooo excited & it warmed my heart to see the joy it brought her on her special day! We will always purchase our cakes here & we refer all of our friends, family, & co-workers here!
