Im rating my second visit as it was pretty much a follow up to the first visit. I heard that Carrs was a good place to grab some breakfast. I arrived around 8:30 am and the restaurant did not appear overly busy. I placed a to go order of biscuits and gravy and was asked to wait in the bar. I asked for some water while I waited and then proceeded to wait in the bar. 15 minutes later I go back to inquire about my food and to get my requested glass of water. The waitress seemed irritated by this, but did grab me a tiny glass of water and told me shed check on my order. 15 minutes later I decided that I needed a refill on my water so I went up to ask for some more. Again the waitress was short with me. I dont know that its that big of a deal to turn around, pick up a pitcher of water and refill a glass. I again asked about my order and was told it would be up soon. Another 15 minutes later with me lurking near the check out instead of in the bar I get my food. I dont know what kind of a business youre running over there at Carrs, but taking 45 minutes to put together biscuits and gravy and some hash browns is completely unacceptable. There were only 6 tables being served while I was there and it still took 45 minutes? Take my advice, avoid this place, the food is mediocre, over-priced, the staff is rude, and apparently you need to be a large group of bikers to get any sort of decent service as thats the only people Ive seen get treated even mildly decently in this place. You want a good breakfast, go to Moonrise, this place is a complete ripoff, how theyre still in business Ill never know.

When we first got here they told us there would be a 15 minute wait to be seated and a 45 minute wait for food. We said okay thats fine and waited. Mind you, there were over five empty tables in the restaurant and only 3 small parties ahead of us. Regardless, we waited because we heard the food was good. After the 20 minute wait we finally got seated. It took a waitress about 20 minutes just to get to the table to even ask for our order! I ordered a waffle and home fries. The other two in my party ordered the vegetatian omelet and steak and eggs. After that we waited for an HOUR and still no food. We asked a waitress to check on our order and she came back with coffee and conveniently "forgot" to check on our food. She finally went back and checked on our order and told us it would be ANOTHER 15-20 minutes for our food. After the 15-20 minute wait, they only came back with home fries. They were hard, raw and bland, as if they werent cooked long enough. You would think after an hour and fifteen minutes the least they could do is cook the potatoes all the way. They overcooked the steak and they undercooked the eggs. The omelet was decent, definetly nothing to rave about. There is no food in the world that is so good that is worth this wait. The service is deplorable. They have 2-3 waitresses working the whole restaurant and they barely show up at the table. We waited for 15 minutes just to refill our water glasses. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, especially if youre hungry. Please save your money and go to Dennys or IHOP because the food is about the same.

I am sorry to say that I will never go back to Carrs again due to the lack of professionalism and lack of service. I got seated in a timely manor and was asked what I wanted to drink. I gave my order and though it took about 5 minutes I was not overly concerned. It took about another 15 minutes or so before a waitress came and asked me what my order was. Between the time of me placing my order and my meal finally coming to me I was never checked on or asked if I would like a refill. Finally one of the staff came and told me that my order would be out in a few minutes. But up to that point it was around 35 minutes. I cant believe it took over 50 minutes of wait time to receive order. I had to go a to go box and take my meal with me because I had to go back to work. When I went to pay my bill I told the cashier about how this was the worst service I ever had and she said "sorry however she did not even inquire why till I explained to her on how the service really went. I asked her to see a manager and she said she was one of the managers. She did keep saying she was sorry but I feel as though she was just using words. I told her that she was not sorry because to me she was just saying words. I think she may not even be a manager and was just saying it to prevent a real manager from coming out. If she is a manager she needs to go back to some type of training. I would not recommend this place to any one.

The food was fantastic, the service was slow and disjointed. Service: We got brought out our main course at different times while they balanced food for other tables at the same time. Seems more logical to just bring the food out for one table at a time and get everyone at that table their food at the same time. Also they had super tiny water glasses and despite the fact that I downed mine within 5 minutes, my glass was only filled one more time after food was brought out and then not again throughout the meal even though it was empty almost right away again. Food: The food was great! It was delicious and fairly priced for how much you got. Their pancakes are huge and very good. Next time I will ask for my butter on the side though as it was a little salty. The eggs were okay (diner eggs) and the sausage patty was delicious! The side salad was fair sized and the bugger looked so good, and I was told it was as good as it looked. The plates full of hash browns that passed us looked perfect and were very generous. Overall: great food, more than fair price, but needs some more attention to the customers.

We went here as a group the food was ok with large portions. However, our waitress was slow, had an attitude and acted like she did not want to wait on us. It took 20 mins to get a refill on coffee which was ice cold. A few of us ordered steak and eggs with the steak medium well, the steak were well done and dry, the scrambled eggs were hard and cold. We had children with us so we ordered apple juice the waitress kept coming back asking if they wanted refills, not once did she say that there were no free refills. Once we got the check it was 15.00 alone in just apple juice. When the waitress was asked why she didnt state that juice did not get free refills she said I thought you new. When we asked for the manager the waitress comes back and says we can take one off but thats it. Again we asked for the manager, finally the manager comes over and was pretty much like whatever, she says "it was your responsibility to ask if it was free refills or not, that is not our waitress job." This place could use some real people skills and a attitude adjustment. If you go be prepared to deal with rudness.
