Not very impressed at all. Two different waitresses didnt know what soft drinks/tea they had. Our main waitress waited to tell us when we were ordering that we could only order off the front of the menu (meaning we couldnt order any of the dinner stuff even though it was dinner time). The second waitress came back and showed us some of the dinner stuff that we actually could order. But then someone tried to order that stuff and they again told us we couldnt order that. Frustrating. A person in the group had a completely different thing than what they ordered brought out. Not to mention we didnt get any kind of "sorry for the inconvenience" or anything. They all had a "deal with it" attitude. To top it off, the food wasnt too great either. Being a seafood lover, I ordered the ahi sandwich. The fries were okay, but the tuna was not even slightly fresh and had no flavor. I hope the restaurant was just having a bad night. My family wont be coming here again.

Id do a zero star review but thats not an option. Ive been coming to the Rainier for years and the service here now is absolutely terrible. I sat waiting for water for 20 min and I waited 20 min to even be greeted. While I was in the restaurant an edlery lady fell out of her chair and literally no one not even the employees walked over to help. I can say this I will never ever come back here again.

Amazing food paired with awesome service and a wonderful atmosphere. We were just visiting friends and family down in the Tri-cities and Yakima Valley when we were on our way back to SeaTac to fly to our home in Southern California. We took the 410 and loved every bit of the views and fresh air.

Chill family restaurant with an open air bar vibe. The staff and our waitress were above and beyond friendly and helpful in many ways, one being by saving us money with suggestions. The food was super delicious! High recommendation for the spinach and artichoke soup as a side choice.

Food is always so good. Slowest times are extra sunny days (trade offs, I know) otherwise expect a wait for a table. Great atmosphere nice/experienced servers. I havent had anything off the menu that disappointed me yet. Definitely one of my favorites in town.

It can be hard to find a good place in an unfamiliar small town. The Rainier is that place. Ive stopped here after hiking Rainier, after bike racing and after hanging out at the Mutual of Enumclaw Stage Race. Good food, big menu selection, lots of good beer.

After sitting at a table with my wife for more than ten minutes we finally got our menus from the bar ourselves. Then waived down someone to get some water. There were maybe 5 tables. Not busy at all.

I dont know if they have a chef but it sure seems like they do. Really good food and it shows because sometimes you have to wait for a table but it is worth the wait. Very nice staff too.

They overcooked the hell out of the chicken strips and a "medium" burger. The iced tea was very flavorful, which was good to help choke down the dried out food. Service was pleasant.

Great burgers and bar food at a reasonable price. Limited tap selection holds them back, but only a little. Try the bread pudding - it comes out on a sizzling hot plate!
