I always want to love this place, but the service just kills the experience. My family has eaten here several times for brunch, and we always have inattentive service. Our most recent visit, we waited several minutes before being greeted by our server to take our drink order. Then about 20 minutes before he came back for our food order after we had to flag him down. To be fair, our server did have a larger table next to us, but that only buys so much time. There was never any sort of apology for the wait from him, just took our order and moved on. We come back for the food, and location being across from the mall. However, you cant expect people to keep coming back forever when the service continually lacks.

We go here when we get tired of going to our favorite restaurant. Good food, and they welcome children even though it is not what I would call a family restaurant. What I DO NOT LIKE is that they allow smoking right outside the front door, even having cigarette disposal units next to some benches. In 2011, there is NO EXCUSE for a no-smoking restaurant to allow this. I have to carry my young child through nasty, disgusting smoke to get inside. A no-smoking restaurant should be completely smoke-free for its customers. Despite liking the restaurant itself, we may not be returning for this reason. I hope the managers read this!

Ive heard this place was great, but I came to eat brunch with a friend and the service was not great; we didnt have a set waitress/waiter......... we waited like 15 mins for someone to acknowledge us. we werent given any silverware to eat with so we ate our starter with our hands. A manager (I think) finally waited on us while other servers were just standing around (2 other customers in the place) it was not busy, so I dont see why we didnt have a set server. The food was alright, but we will not be back or recommend due to service; I couldve went somewhere else, with better food and service.

It looked clean inside. Service was slow when I was there. I only went once, and I would never go back. I ordered the crab benedict. Let me just say, it was not fresh. It smelled like rotten gym socks. I didnt smell it at first due to the fact it was covered with sauce. And then I took a bite. Worst mistake ever. I let management know, and they told me that it was just overcooked. And I just looked at him. Little did he know I purchase seafood for a living. Embarrassing to say the least. I dont even recall if they took it off the bill, but I can tell you, we paid, and never came back.

The bloody Marys are a must! Just one is all you need to enjoy a perfect start to any weekend brunch. The atmosphere is Euro-cafe-esque; large antique mirrors, and dark wood booths. Staff is friendly, professional, prompt, and accommodating. I loved their salmon and egg scramble, which I would normally never even think to order. Salty, savory, with green onions. The blueberry pancakes were perfectly crisp, hot, and fluffy, though the flavor seemed to be slightly lackluster. My advice? The batter needed some salt. Overall, I loved this cafe and will be back for more.

For 20 years, two friends and I have been meeting for dinner quarterly in the Tysons area. Last evening we went to Café Deluxe (as we have done so from time to time). What a great dining experience! The best we have ever had! Our wait person Michael was personable, knowledgeable, provided excellent customer service, and put up with our good natured teasing. Plus our dinner salads were fresh and just right. Who could ask for more? Great food, great service, and great friends! Well be back and will request Michael as our server!

Cafe Deluxe has been on a steady descent in recent years. Once nicely executed and tasty, food is now routinely overcooked, over salted, and unimpressive. Salads lack creativity, fish is over seasoned and cooked far too long, and both potatoes and fries were hard as bricks and ice cold. The bar takes a touch too long to deliver drinks. Service is friendly and accommodating. The space is pretty run of the mill. A recent revamping of the menu gave us hope, though it seems the kitchen is still falling short of its aspirations.

Great meal, unbeatable service! My boyfriend and I stopped into Cafe Deluxe for breakfast. We had the croissant sandwich and a croque madame-- both were very good! The food was great, but what really made this place special was the atmosphere and staff. Our waitress, Xuelin, was attentive and sweet. The manager, Patty, made us feel right at home and like we were VIP customers! The friendly atmosphere and good food gave us a filling and happy start to our day. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Kids liked it. The food choices were quite normal for traditional american fare. Brunch items were fairly broad and moderately priced for the Tysons area. Parking was confusing (under crate and barrel) and those with long trucks cant negotiate the turn in and will get confused by the straight ahead portion for additional parking which makes it seem like youre going the wrong way.

A noisy but pleasant place for lunch and dinner, always popular it would seem, and the best option near Tysons for a quick meal with table service. Good beer and wine selections and generally well cooked food, although the menu is a little dated. Prices are reasonable and service is usually good. When we have occasion to shop at Tysons, we have lunch or an early dinner there.

The food was delicious, the view and the decor are both nice , totally Im pleased with the location . But we didnt receive a good customer service , the menu says that the happy hour is up to 7 , so we ordered our drinks at 6.55 But the waiter refused to include our orders for happy hours because it was 5 to 7 ......he said he has no access to it

Staff here are friendly and competent. They seem to like what they do. The food is very good. I was rather surprised with the grilled chicken and crispy goat cheese salad. It was nicely executed, taste wise and portion size was perfect. (Anyone can do grilled chicken- only a choice few do grilled chicken properly!) also, try the creme brulée. :)

This was my first time visiting this spot and I really enjoyed it. The food was great, I had the croissant breakfast sandwich, which was more than filling. It was big enough to feed to people. The mimosa were good. Parking is plentiful. Service could have been a tad better, but it wasnt horrible. Id definitely return here for brunch again.

Had a good atmosphere and pleasant wait staff. I had the Deluxe Breakfast, which turned out to be decent, but not very noteworthy. Our waiter seemed distracted and didnt come by our table at all after serving the food. It took him quite a bit to return with our check. All in all, not a terrible experience, but we probably wont come back.

The ambiance is nice outside on a sunny day, but thats about it. For brunch, the mimosas were pricey (and small) and the egg omelet was kind of runny and not very flavorful. Overall, youre paying more for less (quality and quantity), but its in a nice location, has a nice patio for a warm day, and friendly service.
