I normally am a Panera fan. However I dont live in Hampton so I do not frequent this location. I stopped to get a rapid pick up order. When I got there, I was annoyed that my order was not on the rapid pick up shelf where it should have been as it was well after the ready time. Waiting, I realized there were several others waiting too. The man behind the counter who was dressed like he may have been a manager was frazzled with random tickets laying all over the counter. After a few more minutes, I realized my order was on the counter. He had sat the order down but call out the wrong items. Since when does a mango smoothie look pink or fusia ????? The receipt clearly does not say mango.... My receipt was not even taped or stickered to my bag like it should have been. The only good thing about this visit was the bathroom was clean. I would give it a B. There were a few things on the floor and the floor needed to be mopped but the sink and toilets were definitely clean. Although they do need to get the thermostat fixed in there. I wont be going back to this location unless its a last resort. They have definitely got to learn to step their game up. Rapid pickup was designed to be a convenience not a regret.

Just about the worst service Ive ever had at one of your stores. There were onions all over our salads although I requested no onions, again goes back to the poor service when my order was taken and when I looked to see if the apple was in the bag... it was not. I said something to someone who works there and guess what the response was... oh, sorry. Just awful... just too awful for me to come back there, and I mean the one in Hampton because the manager in Richmond would have never allowed me to leave the restaurant without checking the order AGAIN after I said the service was bad and the order was not correct... To top off this visit the apple I ask for smelled just like a raw onion... just awful

Overpriced for poor quality, and the employees have no clue about customer service and theres no evidence that they care to obtain a clue. If they put 1/10th the attention into quality and customer service as they do their slick looking menu board it would at least be an ok place. After paying over $10 for two watered down "bowls" of overrated soup and a rotten apple (really!), I hunted around for crackers to give it a least some substance. I was informed by the harried "chef" in the assembly line that passes for a kitchen that they didnt have crackers and I could buy a baguette. You can do a lot better for lunch at one of the locally owned places nearby.

Honestly I love Panera I love their food their service is great at this location however it is I hit or miss sometimes with the quality of food. some days they are on point the food is great but there are other times where you get your food and it is not up to par. The inconsistency is frustrating. Some days the portion size is appropriate and other days it looks like they literally you just paid for scraps. None the less Ill still be going to Panera however I may just have switch it up and go to the location in Newport News and try them out.

I believe there food is healthy food. It tastes great. Should avoid asking for tips as most of the work is done by the customer. Twice since they started table service my order was incorrect, but never received a gratuitous gift. Saw it on a receipt. No big deal, but no tipping for this kind of service. Drink area is a mess as in a cluster. Generally, the atmosphere is superb. Smiling faces, dont walk away without your drink cup or that counter brownie. I think they are trying hard to please and earn your patronage. I recommend!

I went on line to place an order. Before completing my order I checked the promo codes for a discount. On retailmenot that stated, "99 People Used Today Free Pastry Or Sweet With MyPanera Sign Up Details: Receive an Offer for a Free Pastry or Sweet when you join in with Panera....It gave my daughter a temporary number and it required that she give the number to a cashier and the cashier would give her a card. The cashier kept getting smart with my daughter then a manager stepped in and he did the same. REALLY......

I do rather enjoy Panera. And this particular location is clean, fast and uber busy!! In the midst of the hustle and bustle, I returned my Broccoli and cheese soup for it being funny tasting. The guy, who i assumed to be the manager, was obviously annoyed with my dissatisfaction and had no problem showing his annoyance. He was so RUDE!! In todays society customer service is EVERYTHING!! In establishments like this, he should know better. Tisk, tisk, tisk.

Frustrating! Today I went in, the service was fast, but the young woman who rang me up couldnt get it straight! All I wanted was bagel and a gift card. Oh my, that was just too confusing for her. We wound up ringing up the order several times. Later when I checked my account, there were 3 separate charges and one was fraudulent. When I called, the manager told me justnro call my bank. Never going to this Panera again!!!!!!!!

Great place unless you have allergies because some of the staff only take certain allergies seriously and question when you have allergies to other foods that are not peanuts, milk, or wheat based. I still recommend this place for peaceful studies and meetings surrounded by community and good coffee. Food is great, just make sure they take all allergies seriously and have a manager fill your custom orders.

I eat at this location all of the time, and I have never had a problem with anything. I always think its funny how people think that its healthy though, it depends what you order. They advertise that they were ranked up top for "healthiest food on the go", or something like that. In reality they were ranked "healthiest fast food", the "on the go" just makes it sound healthier. Either way, the food rocks.

Panera Bread is known for high-quality, if somewhat expensive, bread. This location delivers exactly that experience. The bread was always of high quality and quite fresh. I mostly purchased loafs and bagels to take home, so I cannot speak to the food, but I know that the actual restaurant was well-designed to create an atmosphere of privacy while also being easily navigable.

Other locations in the area are better. Hit or miss service/quality as described in other reviews. They frequently run out of ingredients, and on mobile pick up orders they dont always seem to care. Sometimes the product is just assembled sloppy and other times its burnt. I know working in food service isnt necessarily fun but this is ridiculous.

We use rapid pickup 90% of the time now and love it. And 90% of the time the order is correct. They always seem to have asiago bagels all through the day and since they are my favorite (with honey walnut cream cheese) it makes me happy. The coffee in the morning is good but really hot?!?

This place is huge! So nice to easily find a seat, and the noise from the register and pickup areas is blocked very well from the dining area. Employees were great and cheerful! Also, theyve added the kiosks which makes things super easy and quick for regulars!
