Buffalo burgers. Nuff said! Well, maybe not. The prices are high, but in line with what you expect at a tourist spot. The food is good, the eating area is picnic tables. The view is GREAT, of course! Plan to swim in the Great Salt Lake at least once in your life. You get used to the smell of brine shrimp rather quickly - honest. Bring water shoes, quarters and shampoo. There are rather sharp stones near the beach. There are showers nearby. You will want to use them!

The buffalo burger was outstanding. It was one of the highest quality burgers I have ever enjoyed. High quality meat, excellent bun, choice of cheese, and fresh toppings. Expect to pay around 2X to 3X what you would for something similar at McDonalds, but it is worth it. Forget the picnic lunch, and visit the Island Buffalo Grill.

Good food decent prices. The real Buffalo Burger was good. Im knocking a star off for the flies.. But really, its on the beach, though it is inside, Im not fond of sharing my food with flies.. Not that there were a lot.. I can be picky lol, so 4 stars cause it was good and I didnt want to share.

Nothing fancy - Decent basic burger stand food, including Bison burgers, fries, onion rings, etc. Make sure you have time to kill, as it is a very long wait to order at the single register, then wait again for food to be prepared. Wait in the same line again for "free soda refill".

The buffalo burger was unique, the fry sauce was tasty, the view was rustic. The demand for ID in order to use my credit card was embarrassing and unpleasant.

Go here and go swimming its great the waters fine. Then come back to the little grill and get a wonderful root beer float!
