Id like to thank your staff for going out of their way to let me know that my family isnt welcome at your establishment. If only you could have done it sooner. As I write this, I feel so embarrassed knowing that I have frequented your establishment weekly since you opened a few months ago. If only I had known I wasnt welcome, I never would have crossed your threshold. I was truly being selfish, thinking only of myself and how convenient it is for me to get a sandwich 3 blocks from my office. I never took the time to think about how your team would feel. You see, I thought it would be a good idea to have french toast with my young children at your restaurant. Knowing that they dont eat very much, I ordered french toast for them to share. My 6 year old is lucky to finish one slice. My 8 year old will get through one to one and a half slices, but doesnt have the appetite to finish a two slice serving. As an adult man, I have no probably finishing the two slices and can easily go on to a third or fourth, which I generally do since your french toast is all you can eat (or so I foolishly assumed based on the "all you can eat" messaging on your menu). After finishing my third slice, I asked for a forth. When it arrived, I sliced it in half to share it with my 8 year old. Your employee was very quick to let me know that I was no longer welcome to order any more french toast because my children had shared a plate, thus voiding the option for us. How foolish of me. Neither the Layton Kneaders nor the Orem Kneaders has ever had an issue with my children sharing. But, your employee is completely correct. I should have purchased an additional meal so that we could have thrown away the slices that they wouldnt have been able to finish. My first inclination was to explain my rational to your employee, but he was already headed to the two loud teenage boys (who found each others farting noises completely hilarious) to deliver their third or fourth serving of french toast. It was at that moment that I understood the problem. My little family, and the inconveniences we were causing, was getting in the way of your employees ability to properly server your target demographic. How foolish of me. Please accept my sincerest apology. I will make sure to never enter your fine establishment again. Ill also make sure that my co-workers, who have also selfishly enjoyed the proximity of your establishment to our place of employment, fully understand that our likes (upper middle class business men with families) are not welcome at Kneaders.

I was very disappointed when I called ahead for the soups offered that day. I was told all soup options and that they were all ready to be served. Took a few orders and headed down to get lunch. Once I was there the soup thats was most requested was not ready. All they could say was owe well we can give you your money back or you can try back in 2 hrs the soup might be made by then... really thats why I called ahead..... The sandwich my husband ordered had two whole slices of meat he said it felt like he was just eating bread. Not planning on returning any time soon this location was horrible. Sad since we actually like kneaders.

Mediocre. I hate onions. I made sure that the bbq salad could come without them. So I ordered the salad without onions but it came with onions. Oh well, I picked them off and it was delicious. Then my daughter ordered a kids meal with grapes and they gave her chips. The order was entered correctly and receipt showed minus onion and grapes. Little attention to details. Lastly, the sugar cookie came with strings of plastic in the frosting. As if a grocery bag ended up in the mixer along with the frosting. Staff was nice to fix all three items but I hate feeling like a complainer when none of the events were my fault.

We went there today and was SO disapointed we paid $24 for a turkey canberry sandwhich, a french dip and a cup of baked potato soup and a kids meal grilled ham and cheese...what we got was a peice of hard bread so hard u could not bite it with the turkey sandwhich, they made a grilled cheese in stead of a ham and cheese kids meal, they gave me some sort of mystery soup my husband and i couldnt decide what kind it was but it wasnt baked potato and it wasnt hot at all... i work bye a kneaders near city creek and it was awesome 5 stars this place was so gross we will NEVER GO BACK.

Kind of bummed. I ordered French toast with extra strawberries and a European hot chocolate this morning. The bread was still kind of doughy on the French toast, I got another container of whipped cream with a whopping three slices of strawberries in it (I would have paid more for the extra strawberries), and my hot chocolate tastes like something I could have gotten from Maverick. Basic. I come here often and its usually good, but this time it was disappointing.

I like Kneaders, but this location is pretty disappointing. Every time I go. So these days Ill go out of my way to the Layton location. Kaysville location has dry food and pastries and is regularly out of whatever it is I want (at all hours). Its really the only "fast food" close to my house, but I will go elsewhere every time these days because I just feel like I paid way too much money for sub-par food delivered incredibly slowly.

So very slow, every time. Good food, but I dont have 30 plus minutes to burn waiting on it. Even when they are not busy like today. There was one person in front of me and I only ordered desserts, it still took 30 minutes. Ive been there 4 or 5 times hoping for the best since I love kneaders food and the location is convenient but sadly Ive been disappointed every single time. From now on Ill only go to the one on Antelope.

We usually go to the Kneaders North Salt Lake location, and we love it. This year, because it was closer, we ordered our usual 14 loves of Cinnamon Bread for gifts for our neighbors. Very disappointed in the smashed, misshapen loaves, and sparce topping. In the future we will drive the extra distance to get a quality product. Shame on the manager at this new location.

I love their sandwiches, but this time we stopped for cookies. I think they forgot theyre supposed to bake them fresh daily, what we had was at least 2 days old and hard as a rock. I spent almost $10 on petrified pieces of sugar...not impressed. If you want good cookies, head up the street to Bowmans and you can get 2 dozen amazing cookies for the same price.

The service here is phenomenal. There was a mixup and they were out of beef but the orders had been placed, no big deal we just changed our order. The cashier was so sweet and apologetic! Completely resolved the issue and offered to comp us some pastries for the inconvenience which was not necessary but we really appreciated it.
