We were there last Friday evening. Weve been coming up to Kerrville once a week for deer season and weve yet to find a somewhat descent restaurant. We usually like to have Mexican food on Fridays so that we can enjoy a beer or Margarita with our meal. We were disappointed that they dont serve Beer/alcohol. Thats ok, but the food AND service was horrible. The waitress couldnt remember our order even after writing it down. My husband had a WAY over priced DRY Ribeye steak, his salad was lettuce and tomatoes ONLY and the waitress brought him the wrong salad dressing 3 times (twice she brought the same one!) I ordered a hamburger and the meat was a precooked burger that had been microwaved!!! The fries were cold and stale!! We dont like to complain or send our food back at all, we just simply dont return and we make sure to review the venue!! Needless to say, I was sick to my stomach and barely made it out of the restaurant and into a Valero Corner Store to puke!!! I was sick the entire night that we were unable to stay at the ranch and had to rent a hotel!! The waitress was slow, rude and who wet think was the owner/manager was at the register and never took his eyes off his phone to check to see if everything was ok...didnt even bother to ask how our meal was!! Never again. I hope my review is helpful to those looking for a good place to eat.

I was hoping for a nice dining experience. Instead I got very lazy service. Our server was slightly rude and acted as if it were an imposition to wait on us. My mother had the buffet and I ordered a meal. I asked for a to go box for my meal and she replied that we couldnt take any of the buffet food home. I told her it was god my food and she said let me wrap it up for you in the back. I told her I would prefer to package it myself (I dont like to have my food handled if I can avoid it.). She rolled her eyes and brought me a small box. It wouldnt even fit my meal. I tried a few times, but I had 1 taco and a side of refried beans. I had to ask for the larger box and she said she would package it for me in the back. I told her again id prefer to do it myself and she looked it me like I was crazy and eventually brought me the box. It was just a bad service experience and the food was something I could easily make just as well at home. Unfortunately I was disappointed

We stopped in for breakfast. The restaurant is packed with tables and - a good sign - patrons. The service is friendly and timely. We had the breakfast buffet with eggs, pancakes, a chili or stew we didnt try, and pretty much whatever we wanted to start our day. The food was plentiful and tastey. Many beffets skimp and run out or items, but we got all we wanted and didnt have to wait for a refill. There was also a menu if the buffet isnt your thing. The only negative I could find is that there were so many people! The tables are close-packed and can make navigating the room a bit of a hassle, but when so many people come in hungry I guess it would be rude to keep them waiting at the door. If you want to get full for a very reasonable price and with exceptional service, check out Del Norte.

The old fashioned breakfast is the best! For $6 you get coffee, juice, 2 eggs, choice of meat, hash browns, choice of bread [biscuits, tortillas, toast.] How can you beat that? Its a breakfast and lunch place so it closes at 2pm. Breakfast is served whenever theyre open. The mexican food is great as well. They also have a buffet if youre into that. Mexican food on Wednesdays, get there early, its PACKED on that day. Truly an old fashioned, family owned cafe.

Best and most reliable food in Kerrville. Daily buffet with a different features every day. Very nice menu items with lots of variety. (The picture only shows part of the buffet, you cant see the salad, soup or dessert sections). Dont expect big city gourmet and you should be satisfied. Remember, your in Kerrville!

Great service, but a lot of the buffet food was held at an unsafe temperature. I got food poisoning right after eating here, so the food (mainly the salad dressings, a Time-Tempurature Control Safety food) must have been held at the unsafe temperature for quite a while. Not to mention that the tuna was gross.

Our server was great but the food was so-so. My breakfast sausage had a really awful texture to it and didnt taste all that great. I got the impression the food was brought in already prepared and frozen. Seemed to be a very popular spot. Maybe my experience was a fluke.

I love Del Norte for its Budget meal on Sunday lunch with roast beef and ham carved off the joint whilst you wait. The vegetables are mostly fresh and taste great. I recommend Del Norte also because the prices are.reasonable at the side of other restaurant in Kerrvillle.

If you are looking for Hill Country atmosphere, friendly service and great food Del Norte Restaurant has a great selection of home cooking and Mexican food. The staff are attentive and friendly. The cost is affordable.

Wonderful service, the owners seem like really grear people (dont know them personally, met them twice while dining.) Food was good, salad bar very good. Very good dessert selection, what I have tried is very good.

Ive been going here for 15yrs or more. I remeber going as a kid. Its the best in kerrville. The lines so long at lunch you may have to wait a min but totaly worth the wait. Wont let you walk away disappointed.
