I am thankful to God for this place. I love the tea selection especially. I have visited my fair share of coffeehouses and I havent tasted a cappuccino that was made to perfection for a long time, but now I’ve finally found it! I tried a classic cappuccino and it was evident the baristas were highly trained from the painstakingly intricate latte art atop a deliciously smooth drink itself. The staff were friendly and the environment laid back. high speed wi-fi a huge plus. Most of the desserts and pastries are fresh and baked in the store. I recommend the quiche, or one of their made from scratch Paninis. On Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights they usually have local musicians showcasing their talent. The place attracts a large variety of characters: a good mix of generations. There is a local artist wall which changes each month, and even a play area for toddlers and a host of board games. Rumor has it there are underground chess tournaments. I would highly recommend visiting this place and tasting their great coffee. It can get very busy at peak hours, so expect a wait… albeit one that is well worth it.

I dont enjoy doing this and have only written good reviews on places in the past, but this one is necessary. After visiting Buon Giorno Coffee several times over the last year or so, I enjoyed the environment and had a few short business meetings there using drinking their coffee which was also good. The people are normally nice and the environment is great. However, today I had a 30-minute business meeting there after suggesting the location to a business acquaintance. He and I had just had lunch, so we were meeting right after. We only got water to drink and served ourselves in doing so. About 25 minutes into our visit, the young lady working behind the counter came over and made a couple of very rude remarks about us not ordering anything. In fact, she asked us questions as to why we werent, so we kindly left her $10 and will not be going back. The sad part is the place was about 1/3 full at the time. Most other times Ive been there, its been 2/3 or so full. So, they didnt need the table. I live not too far away, so I wish this hadnt happened. Yet, the experience was bad enough, I will not be going back.

Dear sweet Jesus in heaven. My mouth had a slight orgasm when I tasted this coffee. I almost died but I wanted to finish the coffee so I didnt. Believe me when I say there isnt a better coffee in the universe, or any of the parallel ones you hear about. Sweet merciful lord just talking about it makes me want more. I drive about 1.5 hours to there and 1.5 hours back every 4 hours just to get another cup. I am secretly installing an underground pipeline between this store and my apartment to have their coffee come out of my sink and shower. If this coffee and I were in prison, I would protect it in the shower. Also good music is played there on the respective nights for music to be played. Live!!!!!!!! If you dont like their coffee, you are a communist. Nuf said. Not that there is anything wrong with that, I respect everyones decision. Even if you are a coffee hating commie. Jerks.

Today was the first time Id ever been here. I went to Buon Giorno to pick up some used coffee beans sacks that Im going to use with a pallet chair Im making and said "why not." I mean, Im in a coffee shop, why not try something. I am not much of a coffee person and when I enter a coffee shop, I might know maybe what 10% of the menu is about. Im one of those guys that asks for a "medium size" instead of a grande or venti. So I asked the expert (My wife) what to get. I got two sugar free vanilla lattes with almond milk to go. She kept it simple. My coffee was so good! My wife was also very impressed. The guys behind the register were polite and courteous and the order took about 3min. The atmosphere is awesome, quite, and comfortable. Weve become fans and our goal is to try everything on their coffee menu. =)

One of the nice things about this place is that they usually have different varieties of coffee that day instead of Pikes Place and Something Else. Aside from the shortbread, the desserts are overpriced and mediocre. A visit to this coffee house on a Friday or Saturday evening might be called Teen Nightwith the usual display of faux counter culturalism since this is a fairly affluent area. Wi-fi is free, of course, and the WEP/WPA key is on the bottom of your receipt or you can ask one of the kids working there. Dont get me wrong, this is probably *the* place to go if you like coffee in a non-corporate setting. And David (the owner) knows his coffee. =)

Being a singer/songwriter, Ive had my fair share of exposure to many different coffee houses. Buon Giorno is by far my favorite coffee house in the DFW area...even in the state. The coffee is is amazing. Fresh, delicious, and served with great presentation. I love it when I catch master roaster/proprietor David Clarke roasting his coffee beans to perfection. If you watch him youll learn quickly that he is an artist. The atmosphere in Buon Giorno is unique as well. Its definitely not the cookie cut feel of a chain. Its a one off...and done excellently. A taste of Europe right here in Grapevine Texas. Two thumbs up.

For me what makes a coffee shop great is a combination of its atmosphere and value of its products. Do I want to BE there and do I want to BUY something there? Yes, and yes for Buon Giorno. I first sat in this coffee shop almost 3 years ago while I nervously waited to have my first date with the woman who is now my wife. I liked it then but wasnt paying attention much. Now that I live in the area I regularly meet people here to enjoy a hot drink and conversation. Do yourself a favor and try it out. I love the raspberry chai latte.

Im a coffee snob. There, I said it. And for the past few months I have tried and tried to find better coffee than this place. I mean -- I live 24 miles away. But I cant! It is the best to be found in DFW. Possibly because they roast their own beans. The flavor of the expresso is never short of amazing. The timing of the shots is impeccable. And the pastries and desserts are totally yum. Even my non-coffee loving friends find something they love here (like the Raspberetto sans expresso!)

A friend and I meet her at least once a month. The coffee is amazing, the prices are much better than starbucks. My friend doesnt drink coffee but loves the italian sodas here. No one bothers us about sitting for an hour or more talking. They have a small play area for kids, and plenty of different seating options. It is a really awesome place...very hard to find an independent coffee shop anymore!

The coffee is blended and roasted in the store with exceptional results and brewed by top baristas producing very fine espresso done by hand with manual machines. This espresso is exquisite and superior to most others in the region. The atmosphere is informal and relaxed with live local music on Friday and Saturday nights. This is a great place and I love it. Try it and see what You think?
