Stopped by to get some good food on my way home from work today. Luis at the bar was extremely considerate and offered me a drink while I wait and even some bread to munch on even though I ordered food to go. I ordered a seafood dish and when I got home I was pleasantly surprised at how huge the portion was. I appreciate that the portion of seafood to pasta was alot of.seafood and just enough pasta. I hate when I go to places and they put a little seafood and alot of pasta just to save money. Obviously that is not an issue here so I will be returning. Cream of broccoli soup was delish and the herb bread and dipping oil was devine. Everything was scrumptious, I seriously cant wait to bring my whole family.

Ive cooked there before and Be honest I will never eat any of the seafood there. Chef Roberto Rosa had washed really stink shrimps many times that Ive seen. Yes true and I wouldve never said it because I dont like to break privacy matters but he told all my friends that he fired me because of drinking. Well sir I quit because I got a better job that was paying twice to start lol. Hey you want good food go to Antonias restaurant in Katy The chef there is the one who made this location in one time champion and then mr owner kaboom ed it up.

The only reason I dont give it five stars is because the garlic bread appetizer was sad with one loaf split into strips. But main course was delicious and staff was very polite and extremely attentive. Great atmosphere too. Not to crowded and nice touch with the candles. I really enjoyed dinner. Usually not a fan of pasta dishes at restaurant, but I have to say this was if not better than the high class over rated Italian places like Carrabbas. Good amount of meat and very well seasoned. It was different.

To the gentlemen who wrote about stinky shrimp. Well where would you get seafood that doesnt stink. In the culinary school where you learn how to prepare upscale dishes you will have to learn how to cut fish and delicate meats such as lamb chops. Exotic Dinner Specials prepared with love and passion by Chef Roberto Rosa. Mom & Pop upscale cuisine. Great Wines and good services. At Azul Italian Kitchen our guests are familia to us. Great place I stumbled upon by accident. Wonderful atmosphere, upscale dining, amazing food, great drinks, but best of all was the service we received. Danette took amazing care of us, like next level type of service. We talked throughout the whole time we were there (seated at the bar) and it didnt take long to figure out that shes quite an amazing lady. The food was great, but Danette is the reason well be back.

This place was a favorite when it was Antonias, but they have gotten a face lift and a new name. Same owners, same chef, different menu. Same quality food. I got the fettuccini Rutica and it was pretty damn flawless. The shrimp and scallops were perfectly cooked. For me, the portion was perfect. Wife had to stop me from licking the left over sauce from the bowl. We will continue to be loyal customers.

The food is not fresh here....seafood smelled very fishy and the shrimp was a little mushy like it was off. I got the worst case of food poisoning I have ever had, sick all night! I am just glad I did not let my toddler share with me. I would never go back here.

Food is great! Very fresh and authentic. Drinks are very good as well. Luis, the bartender is fantastic. But what keeps us coming back is the atmosphere. Rafael makes you feel as if you are family. Love that its a family owned and operated business.

Its ok, but not amazing. I was expecting more from this place. The bar is nice and they have a few wines, but the room for events is ... basic. Even the tablecloth was plastic and tacky. I would only come back to grab lunch.

Great food, great service, local Italian food. They have good lunch specials as well. Nice patio dining out back with fire pit. Full bar and a private party room too. Friendly service! Never had anything here I didnt like!

Just opened so there are a few quirks... Other than that food was tasty even if the options had some odd combinations (bbq on a Cuban sandwich?) White choc bread pudding was delicious :)
