I went to Cookout for the first time today, Ive heard some good things from some friends about the place. Going through the drive thru wasnt bad, there was only another two cars ahead of me (one at the window, and one ordering). The order was cheap, but my food wasnt good, at all. The burger was dry, but warm; the chicken tenders, and the cheese fries were cold; The onion rings were the biggest issue, not only were they also cold, but I put two into my burger, after taking the first bite, I taste a texture that wasnt burger, and wasnt pleasant. I look at the quarter bitten onion ring, and see a grainy spongelike substance, (at first I thought it could be a stray piece of chicken; it wasnt chicken...I dont know what it is.) but it did have a little onion in it. Needless to say, Im grossed out. I cant get the nasty, dry grainy taste out of my mouth. The rest of the food wasnt good enough to give it a pass; even the bottom of my soda cup had a "rip" in it, and was leaking. The cheap price only softens the blow, but it was still a waste of gas, time, and money. Maybe, the inside, or a different location is better; but Im just going to stick with Five Guys, or Steak n Shake in the future.

Horrible!! I get to the order box in the drive through and its breaking in and out. I finish ordering and pull to the window to pay she gives me a different price than at the box so o ask her to repeat the order she gives me a ride look and repeats the order. I then tell her that the box is breaking in and out hard to hear them she says ok.. she opens the window back up to give me the change and it smells like cigarettes in there!!! Pull in a parking lot to make sure order is right and got mad got 3 chicken nuggets 3 onions rings in each order SMALL BURNT burgers and the Cajun chicken tastes like they poured the whole bottle on it!!!

Literally the worst Cookout Ive ever been too. It never fails, I hate that Surfside beach doesnt have a selection of dining after midnight because you totally have to take what you can get. Im from Maryland and everyone in north Carolina rants and raves about Cookout , so I assumed it would be fantastic. Lets just say I wish there was a zero stars option. How can you mess up an order after youve accurately entered it into the pos system?

Theyre almost guaranteed to get your order wrong but its the best/ cheapest drunk food youll find in Myrtle, Im hammered right now eating a quesadilla that was supposed to be two chicken wraps but Im no complaining bc its so F***ing good. 5 stars, actually 6 stars, its that good. S/O to Madison the cashier for hooking it up, I ordered chicken wraps but you still managed to make me happy

Average, at best. I kind of expected more so I was a little disappointed. The wait was longer than expected and the quality of the food left much to be desired. Two, and perhaps only, good things about this place are the prices and the late hours. Update: Im no longer going back to this location. Refused service before close on drive-thru. Really made my night.

Everything here is incredibly delicious& the prices are so inexpensive its almost absurd. Their burgers are better than burger restaurants, quesadillas are better than Mexican restaurants, corn dogs are better than sonic. The same goes for every item on the menu. The fact that I can have a very large delicious meal for $6 including a milkshake is just crazy.

Ive been to many a Cook Out and this is my favorite. The value cannot be overstated. Walk in with six dollars and walk out with a few cents and a smile! This Cook Out is very new, and very clean. Its never been too busy whenever Ive gone (mostly weekday afternoons) but if it is a little busy, understand that its a great place. Get a Cheerwine float!

The restaurant is new and clean. The staff was friendly, well trained and competent. The problem was that the food was horrible. It was a lot of calories with zero nutrition. I left still feeling hungry. Normally I would complain if the portion size was small (4 very small onion rings) but who wants a large portion of bad food.

The place is ok at best. Their shakes were ok, the tomato on my burger was mostly green, and the place reeked of bleach. The prices are ok and the workers are friendly, but I wouldnt recommend going there. If you want a good shake and/ or burger, just go about 20 yards away to Steak and Shake.

Just came for milkshake sat in the drive-thru for 10 mins never moved got out of line and went in waited 15 mins maybe you should keep the varsity team in place at the busy time of day its a good thing the peanut butter fudge milkshake is great but not worth almost 39 mins to get 3 shakes.

Just got back after a really hard softball game, its a PERFECT place for if you just need a break to cool down with great milkshakes!!! BUT I suggest keep Addison there, because when he is there people are SO much more polite, and in-check. THANKS!!

Did not get what was suppose to be on the barbeque plate, and then no number to contact once we got home and found out. Plate had tiny slaw, no hush puppies no fries. Guess it was a silly oversight, or company wants to short change folk for profit.

Quick as hell!! Kinda wish they would give me 10-15 seconds staring at the drive thru menu before they would ask me what I want, but when you order its made fresh and in your hands faster than you can whip out your payment of choice. FrFr

This place didnt seem overly welcoming nor was the food what I found all the ratings to be. I ordered the cheddar bacon burger and added tomato which they forgot. It didnt taste like anything special and it looks thrown together.

The $4.99 tray is probably the best meal deal for fast food on the beach. Food comes out hot and everything tastes good. Only one issue, milk shakes are always too thick, I want to drink it not have to get a spoon to eat it.

Fast service and cheap food. Cajun fries were delicious, 10/10. Burger was nothing special, 7/10. Wish there was a menu further back in the drive thru so I had more time to decide what I wanted. Would definitely go back.

Ground up organs in hamburger meat-wat else should I expect for $4.99... and this is suppose to be a chicken quesadilla... can you see the chicken? Chicken crumbs? Nasty food-yes its cheap but so is the food quality.

Quesadilla had literally two tiny chunks of chicken. Chicken sandwich was bland and unseasoned. Burger was dry, fries old and stale. Only good thing was the sweet tea. Waste of money, should have gone to McDonalds.

Soggy bugers they put mustard and ketchup right below the bun so when its there for like 2 minutes the bun gets soggy I love this restaurant but if I cant enjoy my meal I will have to go elsewhere

Their cookout tray is only for 99 and includes a choice of a sandwich or protein two sides and a drink. Its always served hot and taste great exclamation point good place for quick lunch
