Worst excuse of a restaurant Ive ever experienced. We came in as a family after having come here on vacation for 14 years and was an absolutely horrendous experience. We sat down around 8:20pm and took 20 minutes to see our waiter and take our order. Our waiter Chris was a little scatter brained and came back 10 minutes later to tell us that the cooks were angry with us and talking trash, that hes handling the situation, then tells us about his story of getting robbed at gunpoint the night before as his daughter watched him and they had to sleep in their car, after this story he continues to talk to us about the cooks and the other servers are all upset about us being in the restauran, finishing with the food we ordered was not even in the restaurant. He leaves and comes back again to retell the story again and tell us that he was able to procure some of the food we ordered from another coworker who had stashed some of the food for himself but he "had our backs", then he begins to ask us to tip him personally in cash as opposed to tipping on the receipt via credit/debit card. He must have told us for a good 15 minutes straight of how we needed to tip him cash because his coworkers did not deserve a tip and because he had our back we needed to tip him. We finally got our food out which we paidfor two orders of the $35 snow crab legs which were the smallest crab legs Ive ever had and only 4 clusters at that. Three of the other people in our party couldnt even eat the food because their fish was under or over cooked, as well as, during our meal our waiter spent 90% of the the time retelling his story of being robbed, needing money, having our backs, deserving a larger tip in cash directly to him. We had to pay him $20 just to leave us alone, literally during the meal so we could spend time as a family. We spoke with the manager Cathy about this who said she knew he had some issues recently and complaints as well from others, she said that she would do what she could to have us reimbursed for our $200+ meal (which was the equivalent of a $80 meal altogether with decent service) for 6 adults and 2 children. My sister in-law called Cathy who seemed very willing to help until she got on the phone with the district manager whom We did not get the name of, who said our server Chris had a drug problem they helping with. When my sister said that wasnt our problem to deal with their servers drug problem, the district manager said she wouldnt speak to someone with a disability who stutters and hung up on her. This is borderline if not completely illegal and will be calling the corporate office to handle this situation.

Came in for my birthday with my family of 6. We were half way greeted at the door by Yazmine....she seated and asked for our drinks.. My mother-in-law requested milk and was told "No", she asked why and was told "Were out of it". We waited for the drinks to arrive and she came back for the order. My wife requested a chicken sandwich and was told she cant have it as its lunch only, my mother-in law requested red potatoes (on the menu) and was told she couldnt have them, next my father-in-law placed his order "Shrimp & Scallops" she said she "couldnt hardly hear him", My littlest one order shrimp which smelt like toilet water...and my oldest (12yrs) ordered shrimp from the kids and Yasmine looks at here like she was breaking the law and asks how old she is, UNBELIEVABLE... at that point I thought maybe we should pay for the drinks and leave since she had disrespected my wife and mother in law already. We got the meal as well as out double appetizer of Corn Bread which half was overcooked (that order she placed in front of my mother-in-law to eat)... My father-in law got only shrimp, but no scallops that he had ordered, but after the was Yasmine was acting we decided not to mention it. As we were finishing she asked if we were finished, but stood at the head of the table and we had to pass her our dirty plates... Unreal!!! She clears some of the table then goes back to the server station to eat her food, then went to roll silverware while we waited about 15 minutes for the bill. She comes back after all that and says on by the way I added 18% tip to the bill ...Worst Service I have every had at a restaurant. She didnt even deserve a cent of a tip, and I generally give 25%....I generally dont write reviews but I was seriously in shock with the service. We were pleasant the entire time but she had a chip on her shoulder the entire dinner, and made my birthday meal a real disaster. Not only do I plan to never go back, but I will do my best to tell other locals to avoid it as well. The service was the worse I have ever had in my life.

Went there last week after my grandmothers memorial service and had an awful experience. We did arrive before our reservation, but my mom did call and give them a heads up 15-20 minutes before we got there (got there at 12, reservation was for 12:30). They split up our group (12 adults and 4 kids) and sat us at 3 different tables, outright refusing to move tables together to accommodate us (there was no mention of this when the reservation was made and there was plenty of space in the restaurant). Then the waitress took our order per check (4 checks for our group of 16) - seemed like a smart, efficient way to split the check ahead of time; but, even that was a disaster. Took her 3 times to get my check correct and at least twice for my Uncle (not sure about the others since they were sitting too far away). Food was alright.. nothing special and certainly not worth the disrespect and poor customer service - the occasion for the lunch was bad enough, without the added aggrevation.... Oh, and they added 18% tip to each check - ridiculous.

We arrived on a Sunday in mid January at 11:45 and were seated promptly. Mel was a friendly and helpful server. The atmosphere was clean and nautical - dont let the drab exterior fool you. Plenty of handicapped friendly parking, too. We split single oysters - fresh and delicious. I had a cup of the seafood bisque - full of chunky seafood. Mu crab cake was outstanding - not frozen, definitely made fresh. The best crab cake Ive ever had, hands down. The fried green tomatoes were well prepared - crispy not mushy with a hint of spice and homemade remoulade. Mom had the "local clam dish" in garlic white wine. It was delish, but made with New York clams. Tasty but a little misleading. Our iced teas were fresh brewed and kept filled. The country music was a little annoying. A fun bar with games on kept the atmosphere relaxed. Overall, delicious and well certainly return.

This is our first time here and definitely will not be back. Waitress was trying to do things so fast that you couldnt tell her what you wanted- she was gone. Re-filled my water glass with a glass full of water and then the waitress drank the rest of the water from that cup! Next refill was out of a pitcher. Hush puppies tasted very strong of onion- old frying grease I would say. Drink from the bar was horrible- waitress never asked how things were. I would have wondered why someone drank 3 glasses of water and left their mixed drink. Food is less than mediocre- service not very friendly. They were turning people away at 8:40pm. People next to us tried ordering a steak and were told that it takes a long time to cook- wondered if they wanted to change their order. Will not recommend this place to anyone!
