Ive driven by this bakery so many times, but never really noticed it until this week after dark when the lights highlighted the pastry cases from the streets. This place offers so many local traditions like Portuguese biscuits to yummy mini cheesecakes. Prices are reasonable. Bar seats are available. Only one employee was working so the wait was a long time and she wasnt so friendly. Atmosphere is ok, I dont think Id choose to sit and eat here, more a grab and go. My cookie was really good, Im sure Ill be back if in the area again!

Service was good. But no restroom for customers, too small to sit down, no tables available but a small bar area, and no grill for breakfast sandwiches. Pastry selection was varied but what I ordered was pretty stale tasting. Empanadas were small and lacking flavor. Didnt buy any fresh bread, so not sure what the taste is there. Just an average bakery to get your fresh bread. Not ideal for a sit down breakfast.

Came here after a friend from out of state recommended their Portuguese sweet bread. Now whenever I attend family gatherings, I get several requests to bring loaves and goodies from Silver Star Bakery. Excellent place with a pleasant variety of pastries, cookies, and miscellaneous items.

My hairdresser is right across the street from this bakery, so Ive been eyeing it for sometime. Finally tried it and found they have excellent red velvet cupcakes and chocolate eclairs. The other stuff looked delcious, and the prices were great. Nice local bakery.
