Their chicken empanadas are to die for!! The homemade hot sauce (optional) is so amazing and cannot be reproduced any where. Everyone I have brought there to try them have become addicts like I have been for years now. If you dont like spicy, you just have to try their hot sauce with the empanada and you WILL become a believer. I have seen it done!! My only heartache is they used to only be 1.25 each and now they raised the price to 1.75, its upsetting to a customer like me because Ill buy 6 or more at a time, they wont offer a deal and getting the right amount of hot sauce from them is like pulling teeth!! The restaurant is also too small for all of that foot traffic, the line could be uncomfortable at times and the tables are so close together you literally cant navigate between them if someone else is seated nearby. Other than that, I give this place 5 stars for their addictive empanadas. Oh and the manager is a real gentle, understanding and patient guy. He is the best!

I was excited by all the glowing reviews, but I wasnt impressed by this bakery. We were in the mood for empanadas so we came here specifically for that. I was a little hesitant because of how small they were but decided to give it a try anyway. The cheese empanadas were so sweet it made me a bit nauseous. The sweetness didnt go well with the cheese. I had high hopes for the beef empanadas but I couldnt even see any beef! It was all potato. Maybe there was a communication issue? The chicharones were okay, but it tasted like it had been cooked on the same pan that was used to cook everything else, similar to old oil. The meat part was fine, but the skin and fat tasted off. Their pastries looked good, but I doubt Id come back after this. The portions and quality werent what I expected for 17 bucks.

The bakery and the restaurant are just great! The place is run by a whole family, they are always preparing new fresh food to put on display. The food is well priced, the service is top-notch, and well... not much parking space but if you want to-go; you may want to call ahead if they have the food ready, order, and go pick it up. The location is perfect, but the place is quite small; I prefer to go early in the morning when it isnt crowded. A great place to visit.

The very first empanadas I tried a girl from work brought them in!! It was love at first bite!!! I frequent this place so much and everything Ive tried is always hot and delicious!!! What a goldmine!!! Now my brother loves this place as well. The best place to go when you are hungry an want to stop in quick before or after work you wont be disappointed !!!

Some of the best costumer service. Very nice and very accommodating staff members serving the best Colombian bread/food in R.I. that I have tried so far. Definitely worth the trip. PS- Get the queso con guayaba bread, buñuelos, chicharones, and or tamal. They are to die for.

Great authentic Colombian food. You can tell that the owners put their heart into this menu. Everything is so delicious - from the chicharron to the empenadas to the dulce de leche pastries. The people in this neighborhood are lucky to have this restaurant.
