I visited this location in April 2015 on my way back from Hershey Park. Our waitress was impatient and made a comment that my kids were slow. I explained to her they were exhausted from our trip and not slow. I could not wait to get out of there at that point. We visited again in April 2016 and had the unfortunate luck of having the same waitress serve us. She was rude and impatient while claiming she was only trying to help. Our order came a few dishes at a time and we waited for our complete order. We had to remind the waitress we were missing items and she would promise to bring out the order. The drinks kept coming one after the other but they were all Dr. Pepper. 1 person out of a party of 8 ordered Dr. Pepper. By the end of the visit we were all drinking Dr. Pepper because it became clear that was the only drink she knew how to serve.

Wow! Super surprised and not in a good way...after 10 minutes, cornbread came out like a hockey puck. Service was slow and she never checked back with us at all. Ordered campfire shrimp and the fries were cold and looked kind of old. Tasted worse! Should have ordered breakfast or just skipped it. My husband got up and asked to speak with a manager...she never bothered to show. Cant really expect the staff to care if the manager doesnt...i ended up going to the kitchen to get syrup, our to go boxes and check. Used to stop here 2 to 5 times a year when we enter PA. On the way out we saw a pest control truck that blocked us in the parking lot. This is the 2nd time of a below average stop. I think we can skip this one from now on.

Slow slow slow. We have been here twice in the last month. Each time we have waited 45 plus minutes for our food. The restaurant was not packed, but busy. What bothers me is people around us received their food well before us. Another table complained as well. We were both told that some dishes are pre made and come out faster. Also told a other table ordered salad...when clearly it was a pot roast sandwich. Honestly it seems they are going downhill again. When we got our order it was missing a side. Another table complained their order was wrong as well. We wont be coming back here any time soon.

IMO, not my fave place to visit but was with an older friend who enjoys home style food. The waitress was exceptionally laid back and friendly. I ordered a salad and it was good. Mostly older people and families in the dining area. I was a little taken back when it was time to check out with our "ticket" and we had to wait in line for a long time as the country store peeps were buying their trinket toys. Wish we could have left the money on the table and skipped the check out part. I think I had higher expectations but hey, you cant win them all.

Great food for a very low price. I eat clean and never eat out. There was some hesitation on my part to agree to eat at Cracker Barrel. I did not want my food slathered in butter. I requested my egg be prepared with EVO and there was no hesitation on the part of our wait person, Coby who by the way was phenomenal! He was very attentive and friendly. It was our first experience going to Cracker Barrel and I must say I will definitely visit again, hoping future visits can measure up to my first experience. Thanks Coby for a great first time visit!

I went here with my family for a swim meet a couple of years ago... Hail was falling outside and hit the metal roof of the place, causing us to feel major discomfort while eating. When we got our food, the bacon was raw and the syrup in the bottle was like water. Afterward, our table got a visit from the flies that were inside the building. Although the experience was terrible, the staff there was generous enough to give us a bit of a refund. That was my first ever experience at a Cracker Barrel, and I will never return to one ever again.

We had the worst experience at this particular Cracker Barrel and it was our first visit to this chain. Im told others are better but we prob will not find that out. This york cb was awful. The wait staff seemed rushed and uncaring. The table was a bit dirty the food was cold and I swear it appeared we got day old fries or some from someone elses plate it was awful. We did not finish our food and were not asked why. There was a wait for what appeared to be no reason to even get seated. We just will not go back.

Takeout is terrible. Today is mothers day and all my fiance wanted to do was get me my favorite breakfast while j was home with our infant. We figured it wouldnt be so busy so early in the morning. He was told on the phone it would take 6 minutes, he gave them ten. Paid for the meal right when he got there. Continued to wait for 45 minutes and still nothing.... he left without getting his money back he was so irritated. My first mothers day and he is trying to be so sweet and its not going well. I want to cry.

My girlfriend and I decided to come here after work. When we arrived we saw what appeared to be a mostly empty restaurant, however we were told the wait would be about ten minutes. We went out to play checkers and didnt hear our name called. A full 45 minutes after we got there the hostess was nowhere to be found to even ask what the status was for our seats. We then overheard somebody saying they had been waiting for 30 minutes for take out. We decided to leave at that point in time.

Used to love this place. Lately when I order takeout, it has taken longer and longer to receive my order after I pay. And then when I get home my food is cold. I only live ten minutes from this restaurant. I wont be returning back to dine in or to carry out again. I guess everything in Pennsylvania is about your pigmentation sometimes. Especially when I literally watched the host and hostesses watch me at the entrance of the kitchen as I waited for my order.

Highly disappointed. It is incredibly small and crowded and you are stacked up like cattle in the aisle waiting. Staff was more interested in trying to see you merchandise then they were trying to get you seated. The worse Cracker Barrel we have been to and we travel frequently. If I could give no star rating...I would! We waited over an hour and we are now leaving, still no seating! #disgraceful

We came in for dinner at 9pm and the service and food were as good and fresh as if it were first thing in the morning. The server was amazing, quick and anticipated our needs. The manager was super nice and added an extra touch when I purchased something at the store and in taking our picture at the table. Bathrooms were clean. Store well stocked. I would highly recommend this location.
