Everyone has their own preference of pizza taste. Ive been across the USA and to the top 10 places in NYC yet I still prefer palermos. Theres some that taste close to them which is awesome but they are always twice the price and dont have the same feel. When you walk into Palermos in Minersville it feels like a real Italian restaurant. Cheese fries are also great! I rarely give a place 5 stars as Im a food critic.

I live in the DC area and eat here every time I come back to Minersville. You will not find a better pizza, nor a bigger bang for your buck. Not in the mood for pizza? Their strombolis are the best I have ever had. Not in the mood to eat in the restaurant? Call ahead and pick up for carry out. It is worth going out of your way to eat here. But take note, they only take cash.

if you just want to fill your stomach, then go for it. however, if you want a good eating experience, dont waste your time and cash(they dont take debit/credit cards). I bought a 12" square pizza, it didnt look or smell good and likewise the taste was horrible. after less than a slice, i couldnt eat anymore even though i was famished. really bad experience.

My husband and I decided to visit Palermo for the first time...Saturday afternoon around 2:00. Went in, sat in a booth and waited and waited. Waitress waited on two other tables that came in after us. Never got menus, a drink, even an acknowledgment that we were there....We got up and walked out. Wont hurry back here any time soon!

Palermos has great pizza..plain, pepperoni, cheese, Nona pizza, buffalo chicken, etc. Plus sandwiches, hot and cold, salads, soups, dinner platters and fresh made rolls. Their garlic knots are fantastic. Serve is friendly and quick. They also serve alcohol. Great place for family and friends.

The sight of those coal fired ovens, the taste of pizza and stromboli, the spaghetti, the happy diners, show the best Minersville can offer to hungry people looking for freshly cooked food. The restaurant is always busy but the service is great!

Palermos has absolutely amazing pizza, pasta, antipasto salads, oh and dont forget stromboli. I havent lived in PA for 14 years and I still crave it. Everytime I visit, it is the first place I want to go.

Cant come through Schuylkill County without stopping at Palermos. Ive never had a bad meal here but I do get the same dish everytime. They still only take cash which is annoying at times.

Absolutely the best pizza in the Northeast. The only better pizza may be Victory Pigs in Wyoming, PA. We live in Winchester, VA now and stop at Palermos every time we are back home.
