This was our first time here. They had no roll for my sandwhich and our server Cathleen and manager Amelia relized how much i wanted the sandwich so Amelia ran out to get me a roll. So we werent waiting here hungry she gave us a pc of the absolute best jewish apple cake ive ever had. The sandwhich that i waited for was so banging and worth it. I have been in the service industry for 15 years this is the absolute best customer service ive received and the ave gained a customer for life. The owner should be proud to have Amrlia and cathleen as they have created a memorable experience with there exponential customer service ty!!!

I ordered the adult grilled cheese sandwich and the Jewish wedding soup. Both had great flavor and quantity for the price. Great service. The only problem was the grilled cheese sandwich. The cheese was not melted so it was more like a bacon sandwich with cheese and onion jam instead of a real grilled cheese sandwich. By the way the bacon was plentiful thick and tasty, and the onion jam a nice touch. When I brought up the fact that cheese was not melted , the waitress and manager both apologized and a free dessert was offered. That is a nice way to take care of customers.

Classic eat-in deli look, innovative and delicious food, on-point service, also with excellent food for take out. I make an effort to eat there every time Im in town and Im always thrilled with the meal. (It takes a lot for me to crow about food, but this is definitely worth it. The challah french toast? Fantastic. As are the apple maple cinnamon pancakes. And beyond breakfast I cannot say enough about the house smoked pastrami tofu and the hand cut fries.) Definitely recommended. A gem nestled in a lovely Philly suburb.

Everything about this place is terrific. The food is delicious, the staff are pleasant and efficient. Prices are good for the quality and quantity of food you receive. This is my go to spot when I have visitors and I dont feel like going into center city.

CLEAN, friendly staff, but most of all, really great food. The fries are hand cut from fresh potatoes. They really seem to focus on using fresh ingredients. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I can always find a wonderful choice at Avenue.

I would give this place a 5 but the Arancini balls were falsely advertised on Uber Eats when I received them there was no corned beef inside..My order was delivered in good time and was still piping hot

OMG! I ordered two corned beef sandwiches for take out. They were extraordinary and the pickles were spectacular. The Avenue Deli is definitely on my list of places to eat for the future.

My husband and I visited today and we loved it. I had a french toast special and my husband had a catfish po boy. The food was good and the staff were friendly. Well definitely be back!
