Yantze was sold a year ago and clearly not even CLOSE to what Ruby and her team had created with delicious, quality ingredients affording the truth in the title Chinese Gourmet. The menu is the same and the name is the same but it wont be long until the true foodies discover that this is NOT Yantze as we know it. Recently ordered Chicken Lo Mein and Mandarin chicken. The meat in the Mandarin chicken is unrecognizable in both appearance, texture and taste. Smooth exterior with the consistency of a scallop but clearly not seafood and certainly NOT chicken. Horrendous. The sauce was not even close in color or flavor of what the previous Yantze had served. The texture/flavor of the lo mein noodles was pasty.. Even the fortune cookies were stale and a low quality brand. I am so disappointed that yet another authentic family run quality business is gone from our area. I would not recommend this place under the new ownership. Surprised they were permitted to keep the name.

I ate at Yantzee years ago when I lived in the area and have remembered ever since that it was the only place I ever got really good Chinese food. Well, I just ate there again tonight and I am happy to say it was just as good as I remember. Delicious, fresh food that doesnt leave you feeling icky like some places Ive been. I got the pineapple chicken and it was superb! The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting and the staff was very attentive, constantly filling our water and tea for us. I will definitely be back the next time I want authentic, delicious Chinese food and would highly recommend this restaurant to others!

First time here, amazing service! Food was phenomenal! The atmosphere of the restaurant and the setting looked beautiful!!! The jasmine tea was top notch tea, i drink alot of tea and it was really expensive taste! The server offered to put my left overs in a box even though we as customers usually do it, it was kind of him. Overall, i had a fantastic experience, everything was great! Towards the end, they offered a small cute chocolate wrapped in a nice red ribbon with a small rose attached and a note saying "Thank you for your service!". They went really far to make your service enjoying! I will come back again!

What a pleasent surprise! We went here after reading the other reviews and WOW, really delicious food in a Mom & Pop chinese restaurant. The food was outstanding as was the service. I had Shrimp Papaya and it was out of this world good. The owner greets you and when your done, his wife comes to chat to make sure you had a great meal. I have been to many chinese restaurants around the country and this one is for sure 5 stars! I cant wait to go back!

We were visiting friends and they suggested eating here (we requested some good Chinese food). The food and service were stellar. Not your typical Chinese food or presentations. The food was very authentic, yet highly enjoyed by the Western palate. Everything was plated wonderfully. The water feature in the room and decor were additional details that increased the ambiance. Next time we go up for a visit, this place is a MUST for dinner.

Food is very good and consistent every time I go, however, I wish they had more authentic fare. I usually only get take-out from here as a treat maybe 2-3 times a year because I cannot justify the high prices for fare that is not much different from other Asian restaurants in the area, although executed much better. I will always recommend, and like I said, have as a treat, but the value of what you get makes me reconsider it often.

We went here last night for dinner and it was just amazing! The decor inside was beautiful, the service was beyond our expectations and the food was the best chinese food Ive had in years! I would definitely recommend and the prices were very reasonable too for the food they give. I very rarely leave reviews but I just had to give this restaurant the credit they deserve. We will be back!

Loved, loved, loved my meal last week and hubby felt the same. We will definitely be going back often. By chance, they had an advertisement for their Chinese New Year, which was over a few days. Unfortunately, they were all booked up, but I asked if we could be put on a list in case someone canceled. Guess what? They called two days ago and we are going. Table for four. Whoopee!!!

Exceptional food and professional staff that provides dining service every bit as good as the Ritz. We have had dinner here 5 or 6 times since moving to the area and appreciate the consistent quality of food and service. Prices are great and you will be hard pressed to find a better dining experience in the Philadelphia area.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in this part of the suburbs. Cozy inside, complete with coi pond. You cant go wrong with just about anything on the menu. Go for the complete dinner if you want soup and enjoy the ice cream treat at the end!

If you see a review less than 5 stars the reviewer is a liar and didnt eat here. This place is phenomenal. Ive never left a review before but the food was fantastic and the staff was unbelievably attentive. Cant recommend highly enough!!

The best Chinese Food you will find in this area. Service is highly attentive. Food is delicious! Try the papaya shrimp and crab cheese wontons. Delicious! Thank you to the Yantze waiters and staff and the owners, Ruby and Paul!

Excellent service and great food! I hadnt been here since I was a child, but I was in the area the other night, and I was glad to find everything just as good as I had remembered it! They had awesome softshell crabs the other night.

Interesting menu, very good service, tasty fresh food served in this tiny treasure complete with a Koi pond and mini waterfall. What else could you possibly want in your Chinese restaurant? You had best reserve, it fills up fast!
