They open at 7am and it didnt look like they had a set closing time, in case anyone was wondering. Had a pork roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel. The bagel has a really good texture but is too lightly seasoned with "stuff" for my taste. They microwaved an egg which was weird but it doesnt taste too bad. The pork roll tastes more like ham, I would try a different meat. I read the reviews before I went as I was looking for their hours so I was scared that the service would be unfriendly but it wasnt. Wont charm your pants off but if I hadnt been nervous already I probably wouldnt have noticed anything amiss.

Bad customer service from the short young woman working there. They do not toast the bagels unless you ask. this was my first time there, how should I know that? Also they microwave their eggs and meat in plastic Tupperware. The eggs are already cracked in the Tupperware sitting on the counter , no lid just open air waiting to be ordered... that grosses me out. Ive never left a food establishment thinking that I can do this better myself. I will never be going back.

Before Palm-a-Bagel, I hadnt eaten a decent bagel since college. And that was a long time ago. Authentic bagels are hard to find. I found Palm-a-Bagel more than 10 years ago and have been a loyal (almost daily) customer ever since. If youre tired of eating bread shaped like a bagel and are craving the real thing, try Palm-a-Bagel. Pros: bagels are made fresh daily, great coffee, fast friendly service.

These Bagels at Palm-a-Bagel are outstanding. I order a half dozen every couple of days! They are fresh, not like Giant or Genuardis. Go on the weekend (early) and try the Super Cinnamons: Bagels covered in a glaze with cinnamon- extremely delicious. Thanks Palm a Bagel! Oh, and the employees and owners are friendly, and awesome to pick up a conversation with!

Bagel making is an art. It not only requires high-quality ingredients - flour, yeast, malt and water -- but making a good-tasting bagel, takes a baker with years of experience and excellent culinary skills. This family owned bagel shop provides the best tasting bagels in town!

It would be nice business practice if they had a website that said they were closed for a week so that someone like me whos looking for good bagels doesnt drive the whole way up from Wilmington just to be greeted by a sign on the door.

Overheard an employee say their bagels come from Giant. Will someone open a real bagel shop next to place so it closes? Service isnt anything to write home about. We tolerate it because its the only one in the area.

The breakfast sandwiches are cooked in a microwave rather than on the flat grill. Very disappointing, save yourself the money and go to Sams Sub Shop and get a real sandwich.

My favorite bagel spot in Kennett. They have some of the best bagels and are super friendly and helpful.

Bagels are great. Always running out of bagels by 11am is the issue. They always have a lame excuse.
