i once was a regular customer at this place, until i moved out of town. when my husband and i came back for a visit and wanted it to be like old times we invited a bunch of our friends out. they are more worried about getting people in and out then taking care of their customers at the tables. we walked away from our table for a second to get drinks at the bar because that where our tab was because while waiting for a table we always spend a lot of money at the bar. anyways while waiting on drinks they gave away our table. a group of people getting ready to leave kindly offered up theirs because they saw what happened. the manager walked over and told us that if we sat down we would be thrown out! Like really we have always been respectable customers, never rude, or loud and they knew we were only in town for a few days and this was our favorite place to visit friends. lets just say triple play got our business that night i stormed out and said i would never go back after being talked to like that. food sucked. service sucked and management is very unprofessional.

i was there about a week ago and what i saw was totally uncalled for.... there was a lady at the bar who was talking to one of her friends, and she had commented on the service of the bar that night. Mr. Zalenski had over heard her and totally freaked out!!!. even used the F word.. and told them to get out.. I think its ridiculous that he treated one of his customers this way!! It should have been taken care of in a professional manner,But he must not know how to be professional. He embarrassed himself and the restaurant. and im sure who ever was there that night will not be coming back., because i know everyone there heard him. When he started screaming everyone got very quiet. I thought Zalenskis was a family restaurant? Guess not!! I dont want to give my money to a man that treats his customers with no respect!!!!!!. Mr. Zalenski THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!! Id recommend not even wasting your time or money

Got a fish dinner, fish was not done on the inside, very fishy tasting, & the outside was so hard theres no way you could actually chew it. Couldnt eat it... Told the server, she didnt offer to replace it with something else or take it off the bill or do anything else to fix it. Plus prices were not listed on menu so we were kinda surprised when we got our bill & saw what it came to. Despite it being a "family" restaurant there was no kids menu, not that we saw anyway... And the time we were there prior to this, there was a bucket on the floor beside the tables catching water as it dripped from a leak in the ceiling. Still gave it another shot after that, but wont be going back again after this last time.

To put it simply, I wouldnt take my dog here to eat. Food sucks, service sucks more, and the owner/management is the worst of all. Dont waste your time. Note to future employees: Glenn Zalenski is a crook and will get you out after 2 months. His favorite excuse is that he thinks youre stealing money or food and based on your response, he will either keep or fire you. He doesnt like to pay into taxes.

I had one of the most genuine waitress. She was quick, and kept our drinks filled at all times. She offered us the appetizers that she thought wed like and they were delicious! Im giving this restaurant 4 stars just because of the service and appetizers. The pasta I ordered was a tad chewy but other than that Ill be coming back and hopefully that waitress is working! (I think her name was Medena)

Good burgers, sandwiches, and fries. The waitress service was great, she was very attentive. Prices are a tad high in my opinion. Only reason it wasnt 5 stars is my family including young teens were seated very close to the bar where guys were cursing and acting a fool. It wasnt very busy so I feel we should or could have been seated on the other side of the wall. I do recommend the food!!

Food is overpriced (except on mediocre wing night) and set up in odd way too. The entire building used to be a neighborhood store, and it in a way still looks like it. The food is not only inconsistent by the dish, its inconsistent by the day. Never know what youll get here. That said I know people that really like it. For the record though, I think they just have poor taste.

I had pasta hear once and it tasted like it came out of a spaghetti o can and I saw nats flying all over the place I was very discusted over it all I will never be back !!But we had dinner at Lancelots and was very pleased with it what a slice of heaven after a taste of hell !!

Terrible! The waitresses are sloppy & slow. Food took over 45 min and was soggy. No fresh ingredients. The management is rude and drinks on the job. This place will never see another penny from us. Thank goodness we dont live in the area.

Good atmosphere. Well docorated and good lighting. VERY slow waitress (at least the particular one my friends and I had) and kitchen staff. Took a long time to get waited on, food, the bill, change, all of it. Very unorganized.

This restraunt was really good the food was better than 99% of restraunts in the area and the service was great! Had good conversations with the waiter and bartender. A must go to restraunt in steubenville/wintersville area.

All the negative reviews are very true and id say that isnt the half of it! I worked there and the owner is very rude, the staff hates working for Mr. Z, the kitchen is very unsanitary, I am shocked this place is still open.

Only thing good here was the waitress was nice...the Tomato Basil soup tasted like the chef spilled a tub of salt in it...sodium overload! Roasted potatos were dripping with grease...the salad was the one good food item!

menu needs to be a little more health concious,times when young children run around without parental supervsion,not a fun house!! Annoying when your trying to have a quite conversation with a meal.

We came to the Wintersville Ohio area for a Wedding. Had lunch at Zalenskis and the next day attended a Wedding rehearsal dinner. The staff was wonderful and the food was very good. Thanks

Its great when you eat there and order wings. Lol Dont call in an order and pick it up without checking it thoroughly smh. Even when they were dead and had nothing else to do.

Food isnt bad. Decor is....um...they arent sure what look theyre going for. Pub ? Family ? Teenager friendly ? A hodgepodge of decor. A bit pricy for the food quality.

5$ wings during happy hour. Usually room at the bar for sports. Clean and friendly. Usually a band on the weekends. Close to my house.
