The food was okay. We got lunch specials, and it seemed like the food had been out for quite a while- my Reuben had extremely greasy bread, which was kind of hard too, but it was okay. The mashed potatoes were good, and I really liked the lemon meringue pie I had for dessert. I would suggest asking for light ice in the drinks, they pretty much fill the cup up with ice by default.

I asked the cashier for the extra plate they had for me behind the counter and she told me to ask my waitress. I ask my waitress and she forgot n starting wiping off tables, I then again ask for my plate n about the time they got it to me I was almost finished with my fish (which is now lukewarm) off my napkin. I shared my fish with my mom. Wow, so much for just a plate.

Great staff and restaurant very clean. My concern is they run out of Swiss Steak and other items way to soon when it is the item of the day. They have run out of clover leaf rolls also. Dont count on their website menu to be correct it is better to call ahead.

Not as hot and not as high quality as they was years ago. If you dont get the one choice special of the day it will literally cost about 15 a head ! Not sure how the older folks can afford to eat here still. Good salads and desserts though

A clean, pleasant, cafeteria style restaurant offering a huge variety of home-cooked tasting dishes. Plentiful portions and daily specials make the MCL a great value. Their bakery is one of the best around, so dessert is a must.

LOVE MCL SOOO VERY MUCH!!! Their food is excellant, the only complaint that I have is: the servers NEED TO WEAR GLOVES when serving food to the customer. PLEASE have them start wearing gloves.
