Nice place. Grounds are nice and looks like a cool place to hang out in the summer. That being said its way too expensive at the bar and the bartenders seemed to be in over their heads the whole night. They didnt come to our table even once, I kept going up to the bar. Id rather byob on the dl next time. Got brought more food than I ordered with no apologies; asked for 4 tacos and got 4 orders. Charged for an extra drink and side of sour cream with said tacos.

I was pretty disappointed in my experience at this location of The Goat. I didnt realize that it was located in the pool house of a huge apartment complex, and that the only server was also the only bartender. It took over an hour for us to get our food and it wasnt great - frozen hashbrown patties and a mediocre bloody mary bar. I definitely wont be going back, and Im really disinclined to visit any of the other Goat locations after this experience.

When did they start denying service to get alcohol because you only have a state of Ohio I.D.? Apparently Sarah the bartender doesnt use Ohio state I.D. as proof since its "vertical". Even though it wasnt expired and it clearly showed that she turned 21 a few days prior. Instead she asked for another type of I.d., like a jobs badge, to verify a STATE I.D., but yet I was fine because I had a horizontal I.D. (my drivers license).

No firearms sign posted. Basically this is a defenseless victim location. A criminal will never obey this sign if their intent is to harm. I will not spend my money where they deny me my 2nd amendment right to protect myself. I am not the threat. This world is too scary these days. Please consider removing this sign.

Excellent food and drink. We were a bit nervous about the no gun rule. However, we made it through the entire meal without incident. Surprisingly, the food didnt taste any different without the guns.
