The seared AHI tuna salad was freaking MAAASSSIVE. and DELLLICIOOOUS. The tuna was sushi grade as advertised, and man it was a good salad, I had to bring my entree home. I would also be inclined to say for 12$ they could have added a little more tuna, but it was still great. I ordered a margarita and a jameson with ginger ale, both drinks were PERFECT, not too much booze, not too little. Also, the special that night was a shrimp Pad Thai, though it wasnt your traditional type dish (since the chef used a curry blend to cook the noodles in instead of oil) it was still amazing, and the shrimp were not overcooked or rubbery, delcious food, however I would say 15 dollars is a little steep for pad thai with a few shrimp in it, as per hole in the wall thai places. The coconut shrimp with red curry sauce was bomb, portion was a little skimp for the price charged. All in all, prices aside, great place to eat.

My wife and I made our way to Fargo during a recent trip to the Twin Cities. After checking with the hotel attendant about places to eat, we decided to try this restaurant. We had heard great things about their chicken so my wife decided to try it on the No New Name Salad. While she enjoyed the salad, she did not enjoy the ranch dressing that was served with it. I decided to try the autumn special, Braised Bison Roast. This meat was fork tender and had an excellent flavor. We also tried the Autumn Harvest Baked Brie as an appetizer. We enjoyed this at the beginning; however, it became somewhat overwhelming by the time we finished it. This restaurant was very good, and I recommend it. However, it is not one of the best places I have ever eaten.

Completely inept. I dont leave negative reviews typically, also knowing this place used to be my favorite place to eat when I visited family here every year. However, I made an effort of calling this place specifically beforehand knowing Fargo is snobby about allowing dogs in patio areas of restaurants and was told their patio was dog-friendly. When I arrived, I was informed by a hostess I assume was new and an extremely rude manager the patio was not dog-friendly. For a restaurant voted top 10 in Fargo and being from a foodie city, I would expect FAR better from a reputable establishment. They have lost my business permanently. Dont waste your time.

Thus far Ive had the pleasure of eating at Doolittles Woodfire Grill on two occasions. Both times the service was exemplary and the food was fantastic! The dishes ordered were Flat-bread Chicken with Roasted Tomatoes, and the 1/2 Tuna Melt with a side of wild rice Soup. I recommend either! The pricing was very modest as well, being under $10 for each dish. After ordering, the wait for the food was very reasonable, and the waiter/waitress was very attentive on both visits, inquiring about the quality of the food, etc. If youre looking for an outstanding, reasonably affordable (and slightly on the fancy side) restaurant, look no further!

Absolutely great food, checked on Urbanspoon for best restaurant and was not disappointed, the staff is friendly, from the young lady that took our name at the front, the bartender and the server. We had been driving for 12 hrs and wanted a good meal, called ahead to see if there was room to park our motorhome and was told there was adjacent parking lots that would accommodate us. My husband had the chicken and I had the Thai Salmon, it was was fabulous. Would definitely recommend this restaurant Jimmy and Jo-Ann Alberta, Canada

Good food good service. Miss though a few of their older menu items but other wise cool casual to buisness casual dining location. Would highly suggest sitting outside should weather permitting. If you have a large group dine earlier rather than later as this place doesnt normally serve large groups. So if they are busy. I have seen large groups wait as long as 35mins to 45mins. (Note service is still great just be warned about the potential delay. Also by large group I mean 7-9+ people as its mostly seating is the issue.)

This is a scratch kitchen so everything is super fresh and tasty. The wood fire grill produces great smells and the food was scrumptious (we had a sirloin steak and a smoked hanger steak, both cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered). Even the seasonal veggies were good and also enjoyed their Bloody Mary. The server was friendly and knowledgeable (even though we learned she is a trainee). Pricing was reasonable, especially for the superb quality. Totally enjoyable experience, would highly recommend.

It was busy. I ate there on a cold day -25 C and had to wear a jacket for the entire meal; I sat beside a window. I noticed that everyone that was beside a window or wall had a jacket on. The center of the restaurant was a comfortable temperature. The meal was excellent but I found the portion size to be small for the price. Service was fine but not outstanding. Dont sit beside the bar. It was very noisy mostly from the staff and they did not take this into consideration.

Doolittles use to have great food but the last two times I have been there it has been less than stellar. My most recent visit we had 2 orders that were served incorrectly and I ordered the special and it was served cold. In my most recent previous visit I had the ribeye and I was far from impressed, especially for the price they charge. I use to recommend this place and go there to celebrate special occasions...both of which I will no longer be doing.

Doolittles is definitely different than I knew many years ago. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are very friendly. It feels more like a higher end restaurant, but the prices arent outrageous. They have a small beer selection and a large wine selection. They have excellent apps (Buffalo Wings & Calamari), as well as entrees. I enjoy the Applewood Bacon and Smoked Cheddar burger. I highly recommend checking out Doolittles!

Very cool setting and design. Very busy (Wednesday night) and a little hectic. Waitress was a little spotty with service and remembering things but very nice. Food was a little disappointing. Servings were small and warm at best. Filet medallions ordered medium were cool and rubbery. Chicken Alfredo lacked thickness and the chicken wasnt great. Expected thick chicken slices but got little shreds of chicken pieces.

The waiters need to be trained. Before ordering a food I asked the waiter what kind of meat the dish had, she said beef and brought me a pork. If you dont know the menu, ask someone before saying something! Then, they were out of chicken, and were serving brown chicken (walmart chicken which is a dollar per pound) in all of their dishes. Really? You go out to eat a good food at restaurants, not a trash!!!

1. Do not assume that the salad is my entree, (I can only assume youd do that because Im a woman) I just ordered the wings and told you WED be splitting the salad. 2. Dont ask if Id like dessert while I still have a plate of food in front of me and a wing in my mouth. 3. Dont offer me bread AFTER you just asked me if I want dessert. At least those wings were good, as was the rest of the food.

I had quit going to Doolittles for a long time because the service was so bad. The last couple of times I have been there the service and food has been very good. Whatever they are doing lately seems to be working a lot better and they should keep it up. I have never had a problem with their food, just their past service. I am very glad they have picked up the service side of the business.
