Nice bagel shop just a short walk from Congress park. They offer outdoor seating in warm months perfect for watching the world go by or lots of seating to relax and drink your coffee and eat a bagel or pastry. They have some charging ports available should you be so lucky to find a vacant spot so summer tourists and college students who need to recharge will appreciate that. The shop often has a smell of freshly ground coffee and they have an antique grinder in use near the back seating area. Restrooms are clean and tidy and service is as quick and efficient. Dont be surprised if there is a line during peaks times and weekends. The pricing is some of the most reasonable on Broadway if youre just looking for something quick and simple to eat. Large variety of bagels, spears, tea, and is course coffee ☕️ Worth a visit if in Saratoga!

Great bagels--especially the apple cinnamon ones they have in the fall--and I love their coffee and soups. Workers can be somewhat dismissive, and Ive witnessed the shift managers talking down to and making fun of the other employees at times. Incredibly busy, so if you want to come for a casual conversation and to relax, this isnt the place for you unless you come later at night. I wish they continued serving bagels and making sandwiches until closing--they often stop serving them an hour or 2 before closing. Still, a nice spot if you dont mind a bit of chaos in the mornings and on the weekends. Coffee is great, too.

This place would make a great sociological study: find the worst espresso possible, tart the place up as a neo-hippie hangout with appropriate paintings and other furnishings (will someone get a copy of "The Bell Jar" and casually leave it on a table?!) and then watch as legions of devotees line up for the undrinkable espresso! The coffee here is nasty: a bitter, burnt-tasting blend of several incompatible bean types. If your palette is sensitive, run like hell away from Uncommon Grounds. Unfortunately, Saratoga Springs is not a coffee Mecca, so youll be running a long way.

I USED TO BE AN UNCOMMON GROUNDS FAITHFUL! I went in on Easter Sunday, and went in to use the rest room, while my girlfriend stood in line. As I was coming to the mens room door, one of the employees was exiting. He didnt flush, after doing his business, AND WORSE YET, the SINK WAS BONE DRY MEANING HE DIDNT WASH HIS HANDS!!!! I did my business, washed my hands an returned to the line just in time to see the same guy that didnt wash his hands was just about to take my girlfriends order! NEEDLESS TO SAY, we left NEVER TO RETURN!

my husband and i were on our honeymoon and stopped in saratoga springs for a night while making our way to montreal. we came across this cafe which we had never heard of before and loved it!! we both got bagels and they were the thickest, softest bagels we have ever had. i had an everything and he had a banana nut. both delicious. the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. the staff was friendly and happy. and the white hot chocolate was DELICIOUS!!! i wish we had one of these in my area!

Great place for a casual business meeting: bring your laptop and enjoy the somewhat pokey wireless as you settle into a comfortable chair and smell the coffee roasting. Excellent bagels, good strong coffee. For the bargain hunter: buy a plastic go-cup and get a refill for just a buck; get a sack of day old bagels (usually on a counter by the door) at half price. Dont understand the comments about surly employees; Ive only had good experiences here.

I love Uncommon and would give it five stars just because its amazing. However, I have a complaint: after their recent "upgrade", they have upped their prices. Uncommon, dude, were a bunch of college students: please dont do this to us. And its totally fair if youre doing this, but give us a heads up. It sucks when something Ive bought since my freshmen year just upped and with no awareness? However I love the staff very much x

They have great bagels... But unfortunately on this particular trip we were left disappointed. We checked the hours on Sunday to make sure they would be open. Hours said they were open until 11pm, we arrived at 8:30 and were told that they stopped serving food besides the desserts in the display......... How do you stop serving food with two and a half hours left in your day?!?!?!? :-( Now were stuck getting Dunkin Donuts.

The premier hangout spot in Saratoga. Youll encounter everyone from hungover Skidmore students doing "homework" that looks suspiciously like Facebook, to families with younger kids enjoying the couch area and some baked treats. Great selection of coffee blends (bring a reusable mug for a discount) and make sure to check out the cheap day old bagel sleeves. Dont arrive at 9am on Sunday expecting to find seats.

One of the best coffee places you can go! Free bagels at the end of the night is a tradition and very welcomed if I may add. The only thing holding back a 5 star rating is the wifi. At times it is shaky. I have gotten coffee and sat down to get work done and had to pack up and go some where else due to not being able to connect. Fix the wi-fi and there will be nothing holding this place back.

I come here 1-2 times a month for work. I stopped here on a locals reccomendation. This is my office away from home. Service is solid, the bagel sandwiches are exactly what you want. Not too heavy or light. I typically get an iced coffee in the summer and an Americano when its not hot out. Thier coffee is good, and the espresso is just the right amount of bitter.

Good coffee, delicious treats, plenty of bagels and a comfortable atmosphere to sit in. Theyre usually very busy but most of the time theres somewhere to sit. The coffee is always to perfect temp and the whip cream they use is just wonderful. If you go here often then I recommend getting their coffee mug and using it there since its slightly cheaper in the mug.

Delicious tasty bagels and the best coffee. The best in the area. We recently ordered coffee and bagels for a meeting of about 50 and we dealt with Danny the owner and Gregg. They couldnt have more helpful and courteous and we are ordering again this time for about 120 of our personnel and look forward to dealing with them again.

I have been all over the world, drinking coffee at every port call we stopped in. The coffee here tastes fantastic! Delicate and subtle flavour, and never with a burned taste. Just the right amount of bitter. Perfect. That and the coffee roaster in the background looks like it came straight out of a steam punk novella. Super cool.

This is a very cute and unique coffee shops with normal and different drink and food options. I had a iced chia drink and a bagel. Very good food and priced moderately. Only bad part about it is that it is very crowded, but the staff worked their hardest to serve everyone, but there was some waiting for your order.

It was soooooooo busy. The line was not just to the door, but in a U back around through the cafe. That said, my friend and I got a bagel+cream cheese each, and considering the crowd, it didnt take a super long time. Maybe 10-12 minutes once we ordered? Yummy bagels as always, and the lemonade is very nice.
