Im a little surprised by the amount of negative reviews for this place. I have been here on two occasions now, both within the last month (November-December 2015). Both times I found the service to be adequate; waiters were present but not overwhelming. Both times the music was noticeable, but not too loud to engage in conversation with my guests. Good rock & roll, its a sports bar, what do you expect? Suits the place. Prices are a little steep for burgers and fries, but it appears to me as though somebody has put a lot of money into making this place what it is: a fun environment with tons of seating, opportunity to watch any sports game you desire, an enormous selection of beers, and food that is tasty and unique. First time I went I ordered the single griddle hamburger - which I felt to be PLENTY, I could not imagine having a double - with gouda cheese, I believe. It was good. The only odd thing about this was that the waiter did not ask me how I wanted it cooked. You would think that would be an important question at a burger joint...? Nonetheless, it was medium and I was satisfied with it. But please Beers, Burgers, Desserts, do ask your customers how they want their burgers done! On this first occasion, I didnt have a drink because it was earlier in the day (lunchtime) and I felt a little dehydrated and ill. However, another guest I was dining with was looking for a beer and the waiter was SUPER helpful and accommodating with her in finding something that she would like. The second time, I ordered the garbage fries. The name of this item admittedly grosses me out a bit, and it is an odd dish, but it somehow works. This giant plate of fries (it is a meal, not a side, from my perspective) includes pull pork, cheese, mac and cheese, hot peppers, and an egg. It is rather appalling, but my husband and I really dug it. I also had the Goose Island Matilda beer, a Belgian Trappist (my favorite) at a very reasonable $7/glass. There are many beers available here that cost a lot more, but thats not really within my budget at the moment. Also worth mentioning is that I called beforehand to ask if they could put the Knicks game on a television. They agreed, and sure enough, they put the game on the TV right in front of me and my husband. Happy, we will be back. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I came in to your place on march 9 at 4 pm.The music that was playing at 1000 dbls suggested that I should be looking for a mosh pit instead of a restaurant. The woman behind the bar asked us something twice, but the only word I could hear was menu. I asked to turn the music down and she looked at me like I was asking her to move the Statue of Liberty. She and another woman were scurrying around behind the bar with the music blasting for a minute with absolutely no communication. We put our coats back on and left without anyone trying to placate us or attempt to apologize for their shortsightedness. We have been there several times before and we are very surprised that there was no professional staff to greet the first customers coming in to the restaurant. They are not that good that they can charge foo foo prices without treating their customers of all ages with the utmost of respect. Very, Very disappointing!!!!!!! 9/18/2016: Went there with my adult son, in an effort to give it another shot. The restaurant is nearby my job. My son, on the other hand, in an effort to meet me for dinner traveled over 30 miles from Massapequa. NOT WORTH IT! Our appetizers were the Japanese duck drumsticks (really delicious) and the pig skins (also really good). I ordered their signature hamburger, medium rare. It was just okay, though more medium than rare.It was nothing extraordinary, as compared to our first dining experience when the restaurant opened. My son ordered a turkey burger. Well; truly there was no effort there. It was very, very dry and crumbled when he first bit into it. By the time he added extras to it, the final cost was $20+. He only had that first bite so when I asked the waitress for the check, she looked at his burger puzzled. I told her it was awful/just too dry. She tried to cover up by saying turkey is dry, and also offered him something else, but we werent ready trust the options. After we left there ($85.00 later without alcoholic beverage), we went home and I cooked him a home-cooked meal. This was my last opportunity with this establishment. A SOLID THUMBS DOWN!!!

This was one of the worst experiences I had for dinner in a long time. Coming here I hear everyone talking on how great the food is, how awesome the beer is, and the atmosphere. I went on a couples date night with friends on Saturday the 27th of May. The one great thing about this night was I was seated immediately. We order our food with our beer and the beer I tried was rather great (even though it was 18$). I was told from my friend, who did come out with that evening, that their steamed burgers are well liked even to get an award for them. I ordered a steamed double burger with pepper jack cheese and bacon. We waited 1 HOUR for our burgers and french fries. Not only did we wait an hour but my fries were cold. Hard, unappetizing, and cold. I take a bite into my burger and it was hot which was probably the best thing about it because the cheese tasted like pure air, very tasteless. The bun tasted very bland like they walked next door and bought wonderbread buns from the near by store. My waiter was one of the best who was working around. He helped us at every moment and was very knowledgeable. I was told by my nice waiter the manager would come and explain what happened in the kitchen (I suppose the chef left in a fury from a disagreement with management.) We waited for our check and the manager had no desire to meet his many unsatisfied customers whom where now upset and displeased with the service and meal. Many tables around us (only 7 occupied tables at the moment, was not busy) were very unhappy and kept looking around for an explanation as the manager was seen on his phone. I was embarrassed I brought my significant other to this place and had to experience this. My friends who suggested I go to this place felt embarrassed and now I have no desire to even see the light of day of this place again after such a horrible evening here. Management needs a lesson in talking with their customers especially if they are going to spend an average 200$ a meal here. Do not recommend merely for management mishandling of a restaurant and you can get burger 100x better down at GO Burger.

So I go into every restaurant with an open mind, the Same pertains with this place. I am from Ny but have been living in SF for a few years, so this is the first time Ive ever been here. Firstly the hostess was rude and gave us an attitude for wanting to site in somewhere besides the small crowded table she wanted to sit us at and the place was not crowded at all. Staying with the hostess, my mom ordered a glass of pinto, it is was brought 15 minutes after she ordered it but I digress , shortly after the hostess came by with a glass of stout beer saying "here is your glass of Pinot" we were like we have our glass already and that is a beer youre holding. It took us a good 30 to 45 seconds and the parolee at the table next to us to convince her it wasnt ours or theres. next the food and waitress, she was a bit rude and dismissive the whole time but thats fine what got to me was at the end when we got the bill.... the glass of pinot was 13.50 but we were there for happy hour which means half off. So when my mom asked her why it said 9.50 the waitress answered yea thats the happier hour price, we said well thats not half price she said sorry thats just the price and walked away. My mom was so pissed at that point we paid, tipped our usual 20% and left. Besides the staff the food was awful like the worst burger I have ever had eve not even kidding and ridiculously over priced $15 for a nasty burger is just wrong $15 for any burger is just wrong unless its veal. All in all I hope this place doesnt last because it is one of the worst restaurants in the island that I have been to. Just dont go there trust me. Oh and on a side note my buddy has been there he loves his desserts and said the desserts at this burgers beers &a dessert place were gross as well. They need a new name new staff and menu, do yourself a big favor and don waist you money there are plenty of other spots to find edible food.
