All Im hoping to attempt to do is be honest and give my take on the food here. I ordered delivery from there not even two hours ago, so its still pretty fresh in my memory. First off, the delivery was quick. I got my food very fast and the driver was polite and friendly :) I ordered The Trio, which is 3 entrees and two sides. I selected BBQ pork, beef brisket, and a quarter rack of ribs as my entrees. For my sides I chose the brisket gravy mashed potatoes and tater tots. The separated my sides, but they threw all 3 of my entrees into one big, messy container. I didnt like that. Perhaps they do it to save money, but it looked very cheap and rushed. BBQ Pork: Smaller sized portion, on top of the ribs. Tasted okay, nothing really wrong with it...but nothing great either. Ribs: Oh man these were bad. Good ribs should come right off the bone, whereas these were tough and required a knife and strength to pull apart. The sauce was overpowering, and the meat was just bland. I was especially disappointed in these. Brisket: Lathered in overpowering sauce, could hardly taste the beef. Very small portion on the bottom of the container, underneath the ribs. Another big disappointment. Tots: Seasoned well, and the ones on top were especially crunchy and delicious. The ones at the bottom, however, were caked in oil and soon over-powered the flavor. Mashed: small-ish portion, nothing special or terrible. So, in conclusion, I wont be returning here. Its not because of an order mix up or bad service. The service was terrific. The food was very underwhelming, and in all honesty, just wasnt very good. Im giving two stars instead of one because of the fast delivery :)

I used to like this place. Like everyone else reports, they tend to screw up orders now and then. But the last week I ordered (trio with triple brisket), the brisket was revolting. It was tough, as if it was the previous days leftovers. I called to let them know, and the woman told me that shed give me a deal next time I ordered. Fine. So, I called just now, and Im pretty sure I had the same woman. I reminded her of the situation. She simply denied everything, and said that Im the only one whos ever complained. I tried to explain, very patiently and nicely, that I was told that Id be given a deal. She got angry, and the last think she said (yelled, actually) was "F&*CK YOU." I kid you not. Not even 5 minutes ago.

Me and my family ordered food from Texas Blue BBQ Tonight and all of our burgers where raw... We called and talk with the owner and she says she cannot remake our order, and hangs up the phone to on me. when I called back, an employee answered and I asked to speak with a manager, she said that the woman who had just hung up on me is the owner. During this time this employee I was currently speaking with was told by the owner to also hang up on me. The employee says sorry and I said its ok and hung up I RECOMMEND NOT ORDING WHEN OWNERS WORKING!

If youre ever stuck having to go here, dont order the regular bbq. I know it sounds odd, but order the Bulgogi (its actually alright), but dont eat the rice (its porridge), and if someone offers you their barbeque, dont waste your pallet on it. However, if they offer you their cute little cornbread, take it. It gets that one star solely on the back of its good delivery guy. He got a tip, but we ended up throwing most of the food away. P.S.: Theres some sort of weirdly grainy stuff in the bbq sauce. (It didnt seem like char, though.)

Food quality was good. I ordered their version of the garbage plate but apparently their version only includes one peice of meat (cheeseburger) instead of the standard 2. They were crafty enough to cut the burger in half, in a vein attempt at making it seem their were two patties. This is rochester NY. Get your garbage plate right or dont have it on the menu. Also it was twice the price of any other garbage plate in rochester. That coupled with the single patty instead of double equals me not going back.

I feel bad for businesses like this one, the lady is very nice and sweet. The food not so nice and sweet. At least the brisket that ordered. I finished it for I am not so particular about my food. With that being said it wasnt good, no better word for it. Brisket was overcooked, pre cooked and reheated in a microwave. Chewy and tough in texture. Brisket itself was drenched and I mean bathed in a to go box with bbq. Only good thing I ate today was the cornbread.. Im sorry but it was worth a try I guess.

Its a good thing negative reviews mean nothing to me, otherwise I wouldnt have tried Texas Blue. But Im happy I tried it. If you like fancy frills, youll be disappointed. However, I choose restaurants for the food, because I like good food. The employees were very friendly, my to-go order was NOT screwed up, the food was tasty, and the atmosphere reminded me of being back home in small town Virginia. Try it for yourself and make your own decision about it.

If you are gonna order, go through eatstreet. Apparently they raise the prices for customers calling in by phone. We tried to bring the descrepency to their attention and they told me there was nothing they could do about it and if we wanted to order online then order online. Really? you do not acknowledge their prices on the internet, then why sponsor it or even have it on there. Very rude over all and WILL NOT be seeking anything from this place again.

I am not picky with my BBQ, but this was the worse I have ever had, not to mention over priced and small portions...The brisket was 80% fat and looked more like deli meat than BBQ, pulled pork was dry and bland, the corn was out of a can with sauce on it, mac and cheese was overcooked and worse than kraft. I am not sure how this place is still in business. Keep driving at head to McDs if you want a crappy sandwich.

The food only tastes good when the older lady is making it and when she does its great. Had someone else making pulled pork sandwiches today and the buns werent even grilled and i believe i heard a microwave go on in the back, meat wasnt that hot so i suspect it was microwaved and just thrown on the bun, threw it out at home..disappointing and a waste of money

The ribs I ordered through GrubHub were terrible. I was willing to pay the ridiculously high price for good ribs to bring to my friend in the hospital but it was nothing but a rip off. I paid $27 (including $5 delivery fee!) for 2 sides and a half rack of ribs that were not cooked long enough and very fatty. I will never order from here again.

I was a polite customer and they messed with my food, they put 6 pickle slices in my garbage plate all with stems on them. Then mixed in the center of the plate was a cuple hairs at least 8 inches long off wat was clearly the guy I ordered froms head. Cant miss them he has hair like a horses tail. That was my experience.
