Id give them lower, but my previous experiences here werent really anything to complain about. My family celebrated two birthdays here, so you can see my family as loyal customers, or frequent at least. Today, though, the cashier took $10 from me. I was charged $16.60 and gave her $26.60, expecting $10 back. About a minute later I asked about my change and she replied, "No, you gave me $16." After I got my food I asked again and she repeated that I was wrong. I hope they read this review as well as review the camera footage to see what I really handed them. I guess I couldve asked about reviewing it myself but I was in a hurry at the moment. The cashier/waitress doesnt seem that friendly either unless shes talking with her coworker. The dishonesty is really irritating me as Id rather not continue being a customer here. I advise others to bring exact change, heh, just so this doesnt happen to anyone else.

Mal servicio el peor fui con la ilusión de encargar un pastel para el primer añito de mi bebé y la empleada se negó x k quería k le pagará el pastel completo le dije k pasaría al otro día a pagarle lo k restaba k sólo lo estaba encargando prácticamente me saco del lugar me obstube x k yo iba con niñas pero si fue una humillación como si yo fuera a pedirles regalado el pastel

At this little hole in the wall joint, you can get some quality Mexican food. However, Im going with three stars because while the food was good, decent Mexican, it didnt blow me away like other reviewers seemed to imply. The beans and rice were a bit bland, a bit mushy, and the enchiladas were nicely flavored but also a touch on the mushy side. That said, the flavors were all really good, so Im going with A-OK, but, as a note, I went there a while ago and havent been back since. In the interim, I discovered Arriba Arriba one avenue over and thats been getting my Mexican business as of late...

Es verdad, la dueña es muy ruda (la hija) antes ordenaba pasteles ahí que por cierto los hacían muy ricos, deje de ordenar porque ya no los hacían como uno quería la dueña decía que los tenían que hacer como era la receta, así es que si lo quería menos dulce no lo hacian.

I do not recomend this place, the owner is rude! I was having lunch and speaking on the phone and he asked me and a lady to leave, he was yelling us to go out.. The food was OK, actually the Enchilada taco had bones in it. that is not good! There many other great mexican food restaurants in the neighborhood, this one is bad service, stay away!

They dont speak english that well, but I have found the staff pleasant the food is good. They do a tacos with octupus and something with cactus that I like. It is open late. It is a bright clean cafe style place but they serve beer.
