I have tried for years to like this deli and every single time I go there, something goes wrong. Most recently, I called in an order and was told it would take 8 minutes. Well I arrived 20 minutes later and they hadnt even started the order. Then when I gave them my credit card, they wrote down the information on a napkin and told me the machine was broken and they would just keep my info and run it when it was fixed. Told me not to worry because they would throw out the napkin. Well, I left with the napkin and no food and came to my senses and went down to Country Plaza Deli, paid the extra few dollars and had a wonderful experience as normal. Locust Vally Deli is a dump, its dirty, with poor staff, poor food and they treat their non English speaking customers better than the locals. This was my last and final visit there.

Fine local standby in Locust valley....deli, cafe, salads, casual catering. Recent renovation looks fantastic; sandwiches the best around. And great on-line rewards system for regulars
