Went around 20:00, Sunday, and the place had enough seats to sit two people at a booth. The booth table is a bit high, even for a tall person. They were out of the Jawea Coconut Cream. (Sadness. Wanted to try the Cococado). Ordered a custom burger. Supposedly, youre able to add as much of the included veggies and sauce, and/or have it on the side (free) (I only had a few two side sauces and there veggies). Ordered Duck and Bison burger. Both, alone, would have been a bit over salted and, either, old-grill-taste (not burnt) or too over peppered (but, i doubt it, due to the bison person not tasting pepper). The duck wasnt that special, but, most likely due to the other toppings I added :/ ...(so, if youre trying something new, order as little as possible per burger or everything served separately). Great selection of meats and add-ons. Music: available. Air Conditioning: available. Air Quality: no obvious burnt, oil, stale, good/bad odour. Credit Cards: AmEx class. Soda Refills: Free Food/Ingredient Details: printout provided Water: self serve in a refillable bottle (prob. tap) Waitering: ask anyone for things Bathroom: spacious, not cooled, minimal odor, large mirror, changing station, large sink w/ low water flow, good lighting. (Side note: theres a booth next to the bathroom)

Bare burger is a surprisingly great chain! BB is an organic build-a-burger chain restaurant and bar located on Austin Street, across the street from the newly opened Shake Shack. This location is fairly large with a small dining room in front and a larger seating area to the right. Even though there are a good amount of seats, the wait for a Friday night averages around 40-50 minutes. We ordered the Fire Quaker (duck, pickled jalapeno, sesame brioche bun), the Supreme Burger (beef, bacon, fried onion rings), Jalapeno poppers (jalapeno stuffed with pimento cheese), and roasted brussel sprouts. The Fire Quaker had Juicy medium cooked duck meat with the sour slightly spicy jalapenos. It was perfect! The Supreme burger had sweet juicy beef and perfectly fried onion rings. Their brussel sprouts were perfectly roasted and sweet-savory with salty flakes of manchego cheese. Soo good! The Jalapeno poppers were a meal on their own! The long jalapeno was deveined and stuffed with cheese, then breaded and baked. So crispy, cheesy and savory! The service was excellent! When we packed the meal to go, we were given a little brown bag with utensils, napkins and their house-made sunny-sweet ketchup. Even their ketchup is good!

Decided to come here for Cobb Salad since most chains can whip up a pretty good Cobb salad. Definitely really good for price and portion! It was absolutely delicious- right amount of blue cheese, egg, and avocado! My boyfriend ordered their portbello mushroom burger with elk, since they didnt have ostrich. Would totally recommend considering how unique and tasty it is. It kinda makes me wonder how a chain would master cooking nontraditional meat, but it must be pretty good then! We also had their fries and onion rings. The onion rings were a bit rough, especially on the roof of my mouth but with regards to fries- they had four awesome dipping sauces. I love the orange-y one (might be called Chipotle Mayo) and the BBQ sauces. Would totally order again. With regards to service, it was pretty good. Seated immediately and the waitress always came by to ask us if we were doing well. It never seems to be too crowded here, which is a plus. I also really like the booths here. Theyre pretty big and spacey. The atmosphere- also very nice, a little dim but gives you a very comfortable feel. Awesome chain burger in Forest Hills.

Our waiter was Juan Rivera, and he was good. Of course we (all 4) had burgers. but my order was messed up. I had ordered a Beef Burger on Brioche Bun, with Lettuce, Tomato and Ketchup. It came with mustard. A measure of how good a place is how they deal with problems. I alerted the manager, Juan came over and I very quickly received a burger as ordered. I need to mention the Beer. They have a very nice Draft as well as Bottle beer menu. The Draft beers come in 2 sizes: 20 oz. and 34 oz. I like a Pilsner, and they had 1 or 2 on tap as well as 1 bottled. The 20 oz. comes in a "PINT" glass and works very well for me. The 34 oz. is a Heavy Glass Mug, which I guess holds the temperature better. There is no bar herr, only beer and wine so you cant get a martini or Jameson. They do serve wine, but that is not a particular interest of mine. Over all very very nice. WiFi: None. They take your order on Android Phones and have their own WiFi They use the app "Toast" which is a POS (Point of Sale) software system.

I had a taste for a burger and fries and decided to give this spot a chance. I knew it was going to be expensive which is I why I havent been here sooner especially since its in my neighborhood. I ordered the classic cheeseburger with fries and onion rings combo which totaled $16 which didnt include a drink. The staff seemed cool and the restaurant itself was busy so I was hoping this $16 burger, fries and onion rings was worth it. When I got home and ate my food I was truly pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was. The portions were big enough for me to eat some now and the next day for lunch. The burger was juicy and nicely seasoned. The fries tasted better than the onion rings and I still devoured both. I didnt even try the side of spicy sauce I paid extra for because the food was good without any sauce. I will definitely return and try some other options.

The burger I got was the wild boar barest burger with the brioche bun with red onions, lettuce, and tomato. It kinda tasted like the ground pork meat, the one where you get at grocery stores. It was an alright burger, but it didnt have much taste or seasoning and it was mushier than I expected. I guess it being wild boar the meat just sort of crumbles. I had the chipotle mayo sauce. I was bummed that many things you had to pay extra for...even the sauce. BUT the onion rings were really good. The were full and well battered. I would suggest that! The french fries werent that crispy..but very soggy. I actually didnt know it was a sit-down restaurant kind of place so I wasnt thrilled to pay tip haha. I probably wont come back here until I have a real-paying job..Life of an unemployed recent college graduate...

I tried to come up with just one word to describe how great the food was and couldnt so I created one by combining ridiculous and delicious together. My daughter recommended this as a place she and her college roommates visit and rave about and we were not disappointed since we had not had a burger in about 2 months so a bit of a craving. I had the Buckaroo Burger which is a classic patty with beef short rib pieces on top smothered in a wild mushroom sauce and a side of onion rings They provide a variety of sauces; barbecue, curry ketchup to name a couple. We also had home made ginger ale soda. Totally crisp and refreshing. It was great to find out all the food is organic with many vegetarian options. Great burger Great experience.

I went there with my mother and sister to celebrate my sisters birthday. We went during the dinner "rush-hour", but were promptly seated. The wait staff was polite and checked in on us at non-irritating intervals. I built my own burger, consisting of a lemon-grilled chicken breast with a variety of vegetables and sliced avocado on a sprout bun. It was delicious, and did not sit heavily in my stomach after eating it. I also ordered the "Cali Fresh" salad, consisting of a plethora of fresh vegetables (sliced red onions, tomatoes, and alfalfa sprouts) with pats of hummus on a bed of spinach leaves and quinoa. It was filling. Ultimately, this location is great for a casual, sit-down meal or a date night- and everything in between.
