Consistently good food, if you order the right items. Nothing is ever too salty, in fact, you may want to add your own. Definitely not a fancy place. Inside looks like a deli with booths like a diner. Breakfast is basic but tasty. Normal choices, eggs, pancakes, French toast, etc. If you order an omelette you must specify that you want cheese and what kind, otherwise you will only get egg & whatever ingredient you mentioned. Coffee isnt bad either, typical diner coffee, itll do. Good prices for breakfast. They also make a decent bacon, egg and cheese if youre on the go. For lunch & dinner: Chili is always perfect. Not too spicy but flavorful. I ask for cheese and a hard roll with butter and Im stuffed after half. Reheats very well. My go-to meal here. Deli sandwiches are slightly anemic but they use Boars Head meats, the only place in town that does. Pasta is always cooked correctly and there are many pasta dishes from which to choose. Ravioli with portobello mushrooms is excellent! Things like jalapeño poppers, and nachos are good, nothing fantastic but what you would expect anywhere. My fiancée always gets the barbecue chcicken wings. He said the meat isnt rubbery. AVOID THE PIZZA. Not sure why it gets good reviews but it really is awful. Also, avoid the tacos. The ground beef in their food is not seasoned, not even with salt and pepper, so skip dishes with that as a main ingredient because it is bland and disappointing. Bread comes with every meal, and soup or salad comes with an entree. Salad is always fresh, and soups are home-made. Entrees can run into $15+ more per plate but you do get a lot of food. Nightly specials Mon-Thurs so take advantage of free dessert, kids eat free or pasta for $5.95 nights. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

The WORST pizza Ive ever had. I paid $13.40 for a medium mushroom. I waited a half hour. When I got it home I found that it was more like a small in size. The pie was waterlogged (not greasy, but waterlogged - either someone spilled water on it or the sauce itself is all water). A good bit of the cheese and mushroom had sloughed away from the slices (some off onto the cardboard box). The cheese wasnt properly cooked (and all came off when I tried to lift each slice out). The slices were not cut all the way through. The crust was soggy and tasteless. Within minutes it was stone cold. This pizza was absolutely, without a single doubt GROSS. I cant say anything about the rest of the menu (and I wont eat there again), but avoid the pizza at all costs.

Came here to bookmark the place and was shocked about the bad reviews. But after reading them I also didnt see this mentioned: My boyfriend and I went here yesterday and we both swear up and down that their pepperoni calzone was the best restaurant calzone weve ever had (he claims its almost as good as my homemade ones). Theyre HUGE and I almost ate an entire one on my own. Usually I can only eat half and end up saving the rest for later. But I couldnt help myself. Were definitely making the trek back out here just for those calzones. The crust is buttery, the mozzarella has good flavor, and the pepperoni compliments the seasonings they use

This place is hit or miss. Ive had good food and other food that deserves 1 star and should be taken off the menu (corned beef hash). For the quality it is kind of expensive. Solid pizza though and Mexican food. Italian choices should be good too considering the cuisine itself is rather straightforward and easy to prepare. I have eaten from here a dozen or so times since they opened.

I love this place. Their lunch specials are AMAZING and totally worth it. They are always friendly and fast. I highly recommend their breakfast. Theres a few items on the menu, I wasnt a huge fan of (fried calamari and their version of disco fries". I go to this place daily whenever Im looking for lunch. Best place in Dover Plains

Upon our visit with my family looking forward to a great meal, unfortunately it was anything but. The pizza was raw and when we brought it to the owners attention he did nothing but argue with us .. Where I come from the customer is always right. The waitress was very nice he should learn something from her.

It should really be 3.5 stars... Its a totally "safe" eating experience. I havent had a bad meal but nothing wowed me. Pretty decent gluten free pizza according to my mom and sister - better than they expected. The owner is friendly and generous enough to support the local PTA.

Nasty place! Dirty kitchen with flavorless food and rude owners. Would never buy here again. Never in my life treated so poorly in such a poorly run place! Pick a struggle! Bad food, bad staff (except the waitresses who are local and sweet kids) bad hygiene the place is filthy!

Just ordered a pizza at 8pm. Didnt get delivered til an hour after and it was wrong. We wanted full pepperoni pizza with onions on one half. We got half pepperoni with onions, the other half plain.

We were visiting from Florida, and stumbled upon this place. Went twice for breakfast. Yum! Good portions, good service. Must try the French toast with the real local maple syrup.

Penne ala vodka was very good, and a huge portion. Felt like a diner combined with a deli, but the service was good, and the prices are reasonable.
