A small artisinal bakery? Ill take it any day! Reminding me of a wonderful cafe I have frequented in the Hudson Valley called Bread Alone but with a more kosher-friendly twist and reasonable prices, Our Daily Bread is a gem in Chatham. Their menu is small but delicious with a heavy emphasis on the mediterranean influences of items like Falafel, shakshuka or Eggs-in-Tomato Sauce. Their bread is wonderful, obviously, and their soups seem good too. From Eggs to Sandwiches, plates wont break the bank but still remind you of the local flavors by sourcing locally. Try their pastries too! The Biscotti is terrific and their pies and cakes looked decadent to say the least. I didnt necessarily love the service at Our Daily Bread; It was overly-relaxed shall I say? Yes, whilst seated, I was well cared fro but to be seated and get the check took a bit of assertiveness. It was a nice way to spend a Sunday brunch - perhaps I just needed to expect the Sunday-sleepiness in the first place.

They have a nice covered patio and the food is fresh and good (I especially like their baguettes). It is typically busy on the weekends, so dont be surprised if you have to wait in line to order and your meal takes a little while to be prepared. The atmosphere is nice, with interesting art and community events posted, and it is fun to look at the local products they sell in the fridge up front (cheese, milk, pasta, etc.).
