Let me start by saying that I either never liked or never had good Cheese Cake until I came here around 8 years ago. When I first came here I felt like wow, a foreigner in an Italian place and had no idea what to order as it was stuff I never seen, except for Cannolis and Eclairs. While looking at the window, it was then that Cheese Cake talked to me when I was looking at it so I got both the Blueberry and Strawberry. For $12 for a whole 8" Cake, its a hell lot cheaper than anything youll find of excellent quality and forget about doing it yourself, unless you have something else in mind or if youre that good. Believe me, Juniors best can not even touch the cheese cake they make here and youre paying what for Juniors? Thats where I started ordering at least 2 every week or so for a whole year. The lady is really wonderful and I guess she was shocked from the first time to the last time I was there at how serious I took their cheesecake without gaining incredible amounts of weight. And believe me, she is a one woman army taking care of 10 people at a time though we are all understandably patient with her as shes probably almost 80. Theres a self serve coffee station too, just not a place to sit, more of a take out/delivery type bakery.

This place is truly disgusting!! First, There were little flies on everything on top of the counter in bunches since none of the products are covered properly. Secondly, the sales girl working was completely drunk and reeked of alcohol and was unable to calculate how much change to give me back. In the back there were men screaming with Visible bottles of alcohol! So who is making the produce? Drunk men who were also blasting their music very obnoxiously and they were screaming/singing. It looked more like a bar back there then a bakery. And lastly the cherry on top, which I hope the board of Health sees, on one of the butter cookie trays on the top shelf was a LIVE ROACH. It was crawling from tray to tray. It was honestly disgusting I did not buy anything from here and I never will!! I just asked the girl for change of a twenty and she couldnt even do that correct since she was so intoxicated. I really hope someone gets this place shut down because it can not be healthy to eat items from here. Disgusting. Horrible. Disgraceful. DO NOT GO HERE.

I bought a cake yesterday anx it waz awful, i have never ever tasted a cake with such a bad flavor, texture on both frosting and cake. OmG ! I am giving it 2 stars just because is d only thing I have tried and because i like to think that it was rotten and she didnt realized that, which doesnt make it any better, but is preferred to think like that, is impossible for me to think that a cake could taste soooo bad.

I have read the reviews. I have NEVER had a bad cake from West End. I left Brooklyn several years ago for upstate NY and truly miss their goodies - especially their cannoli cheesecake which I am always trying to copy. There are no good bakeries in this part of NYS and I really miss my old neighborhood bakeries and butchers. Thanks, Randazzo family, for great desserts in a family setting!

Theres mouses and cockroaches inside the bakery. Some boxes covered in feces. NOTHING is fresh always give you the old items. They just take the cakes upstairs. Make it look pretty but keep using the same cake from before. Dont recommend eating here.

Prosciutto bread tastes like cardboard my mom brought it to Florida for me it was terrible I brought prosciutto bread from Mona Lisa on 13th and brought back here soooo much better!!! Very disappointed

Its changed A LOT over the years. Not as great as it once was. Yep. The prosciutto bread was once the greatest in the neighborhood. My recent purchase ended in the trash can.
