Its really sad. This coffee house has no distinctions around what makes a good cup of coffee or a good pastry. Dont waste your patience or your money . What a disappointment and they charge prices like award winning coffee houses in high rent city neighborhoods. Why is it that Aldos in Greenport can produce great expresso or cappuccino and remains the only place on the North Fork that can do so. The rest are not drinkable. The name Hampton may give the consumer the expectation that he or she may be getting something that the palates of the south fork would demand, but no it doesnt live up to that not the the name help make their coffee any better. Their pastries are horrible The croissants look like the Pillsbury Doe Boy made them in a kids oven heated by a lightbulb. They sit flat and pale. They are trying to serve up healthy power foods. They look inedible. What a disappointment ! The only nice thing about the place are the excited staff. The rest is all smoke and mirrors. This place will not survive the summer if it doesnt do what it takes to make consistently good coffee.

Fantastic people- some of the best customer service Ive seen. The baristas are friendly and make eye contact and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. Their coffee is pretty good too. The outdoor seating is pleasant, except for being near the road (noise). There are picnic tables in back in a grassy area, which would be great for kids.

Great pastries, very good coffee, and tons of food for quick bites. Very laid back and a good mix of locals and tourists visiting. Its usually busy but the service is quick so you will never wait to long to order or get your food or coffee. Definitely worthy of a visit.

The best cup of coffee I ever had there, no kidding. My wife insists I make the coffee every am for the past 27 years & on parties everyone always says, who made the coffee, its delicious. But this coffee is definitely better than mine, its just amazing

Reliable local coffee. This location has a very bizarre layout with limited and awkward seating. Ive only had espresso at Hampton Coffee, and although its not superb its better than the other local options Ive had. Staff always courteous.

Its very convenient and the staff is really friendly and professional and the selections are good. Despite the coffee culture that has been around for years, I still think expensive coffee is a bit silly but their coffee is good.

Excellent service and some of the strongest coffee east of the city. Hampton Coffee Company is securely equal within regard to quality of coffee and food as Starbucks, but just with some true Long Island charm.
